You know, if you think about it, chances are you've probably made ~100M in the general lifespan of your account. It's not really that much if you think about it, but it's a LOT to have in cash at one time. : Don't be intimidated by large numbers. If you really want it, then go for it. Like I am right now. I want 99 smithing, since it's one of my favourite skills. I *know* I don't have the cash for it, but I'm going for it anyway, since I know I can make the money over time.

For 68 to be able to make Mithril Platebodies, it would require 8820 steel bars (more if you're making cannonballs). This would cost 5,486,040 coins, not including how much you make back from selling/alching. This is buying at market price. 68-99 doing Mithril Platebodies would require 248,588 mithril bars, which is 49,717.6 Mithril Platebodies. This would cost you 283,887,496 (283.88m). If you alched the platebodies, you would recieve ~144M profit after buying the nature runes, and 3.23M magic experience. TL;DR, you'd lose about 140M making mithril platebodies, buying everything at mid price. This is not including that you might use Sacred Clay hammers, which would lessen the cost by a bit, but also take more effort to aquire.

The Neitiznot furnace requires access to... well, the Island of Neitiznot, of course. :) If you're done, or at least have done up to the part in Fremmenik Isles where you go to Neitiznot, you already have access to it.

Steel Arrowheads aren't too bad, you lose ~120 each and they're faster than iron nails since they sell mid in the Grand Exchange. Just an alternative.

Trimmed Farming.

Runecrafting at high levels. It takes insanely long to level, although the money made might balance it out at times, it's still easily one of my least favourite skills to train.

I did a bit of math last night, and found that superheating steel is 20k smithing exp/hour. I don't believe this is right. Does anyone have the exact rate? I'd also like mithril/adamant rates if you've got them. : Thanks. Also, if there's a better method that doesn't lose as much, or possibly gain money (besides cannonballs), I'm all ears. :thumbup:

Because the Ogress Warriors are so large, they can't pass the plants. There's a couple of spots where they won't attack you, the most common being right outside Oo'glog.

I'm considering getting a smithing cape as my first skillcape, since I enjoy the skill. What would be the cheapest, plausible method towards obtaining my goal? I could do Stealing Creation for the hammers, but I'd rather avoid grinding it over and over.

You said Barbed, not Broad. #-o Barbed are the things you buy from the Ranging Guild with Archery Tickets. Don't use them, they're not worth it.

Even though SC hammers are fast exp, they require time to get. Not everyone enjoys playing that game over and over you know. >_> I personally used mahogany, but it costs a buttload. It's really your choice. Mahogany = Fast exp, high cost Oak = Slower exp, much cheaper.

Yes, you have to dispose of items until you get to the freeplay bank limit, unless you have a placeholder for every item you plan on using.

You only need 55 slayer. Smoking Kills is only for access to Slayer Points, Sumona, and the Slayer Dungeon.

Actually, making the unfinished potions don't give you any experience. It's adding the secondary to the potion that give it. Anyway, I've been superheating mithril bars recently, and I've found it a great way to train smithing. Buying all of the materials, you only lose about 20 gold per bar. Since you've already got the ore, you'll make money! \ Possibly smith into mithril plates and alch if you'd like for even more smithing and magic exp, albeit less money.

Superheating mithril bars with a side of slayer, of course. \

I suppose green dragons are more reliable, but Aviansies are just so much better. \ Not to mention less crowded (most of the time). I'm sure if you looked around you could find an aviansie guide or two.
