I used basilisks with full void and mith knives. The drops end up paying for the knives and you could even get lucky and get a head :D

Go to waterfiends and you should be able to get about 100 crimson charms an hour. There is bound to be a waterfiends guide on here that will show you what to do.

It would have to be either trying to merch the d plate and it droping by 2/3s it price or going to bandos for the first time and losing 2m plus.
