  1. To be honest I don't really care about the exp deduction thing anymore. I almost always tend to team up with 100+ people, and we still get decent exp at the end of it. In the end, dungeoneering is all about having fun.
  2. 80 Dungeoneering already, in this very month? :o Heh. Myself, I'm taking a slight hiatus from dunging (67 atm), and decided to finish that 70 rc objective of mine. What rewards do you plan on buying?
  3. Grats on 91 runecrafting, 8 more levels to go! :) Will 200 spirit graahk pouches really be enough all the way? Hopefully you still have tons of blue charms (and graahk claws) left.
  4. Agreed. I think this was just implemented for the newbies. Otherwise, most players can easily defeat monsters double or even triple their combat level. Right-clicking to having to attack a monster is like saying because you're lower-leveled than it, you're scared of the monster. My p2p is combat 89 and can easily kill monsters like Bork, black demons, and red dragons. Once again Daemonheim did the right thing. Except not every monster is below 138 combat. If you're going to disagree, at least say that everyone should be able to left-click bosses.
  5. Ok, here are the list of things I really don't like about teammates in dunging. People who turn public/private chat friends or off. If you do that, you're basically disabling the ability for disconnected teammates to rejoin. People who try to "help" somebody doing a puzzle. Really, unless it's mime/switch, leave that person alone. Having more people doing a single puzzle just wastes time. People who don't bother to prepare for a 5:5 boss fight. Good luck surviving against a level 200 boss monster with no food. People who take the keys on the ground, when I SPECIFICALLY say I'm the key holder. And they refuse to let it go. People who put a combat level requirement when advertising teams. Combat doesn't matter, it's how you play the dungeons that matters. The rest, Pink and Zaaps pretty much summed it up.
  6. Heh heh, indeed I did feel kinda noobish when first starting out membership. :P But eventually I was getting used to it. Questing is my absolute favorite thing to do as a member, next to Slayer. Went from 43 to 128 quest points during that month. I definitely want to get some membership on my own main F2P, but I want to train my F2P skills to all the quest requirements first. And possibly 99 str so I can use an abyssal whip full time. 95 pray for Turmoil might be a bit much for me though. I might get around to make a "Newbie Members" guide soon. ;)
  7. I don't suppose so. The ring of kinship teleport isn't exactly that close to a bank (it's a fair run). Plus, using this ring negates the benefits of the Explorer's Ring (10% more exp), so I would not say it's worth it. But thanks for suggesting me with this method! I appreciate your help. :) (And thanks for the PM. :P )
  8. Hai everybody! It's been a month while I posted here, which is due to me being dazzled in the world of members (on a different account lolz). :P Anyways, about those Dungeoneering stuff you guys were wondering about. Dungeoneering is about 15k exp/hour, assuming you always partner up and do meds and average 90+ combat. With larges, you MIGHT get more if you manage to rush the whole thing, but I don't have enough experience for that. If you solo, it's only about 10k exp/hour when I do it. Takes probably 15-20min to do a floor, and at 34 prestige I get 2k-4k exp per floor. It doesn't matter if you're high-leveled Dunging or not. Your prestige has got to be high (25+) to receive good exp, and even then, it really only shines in the later floors. But in the end, since Dungeoneering is meant to be a fundom skill (to me anyway), it doesn't matter if the exp is low or not. As long as it's an awesome skill, it shines greatly for me. :) Also, I don't see how Runecrafting is so tedious to level up (though it might be because I'm an rc lover, hehe). Prayer, Ranged, and Smithing are easily as hard. And I know this doesn't connect to F2P, but Hunter fails. Yeah. <_<
  9. Sorry for the unannounced month-long leave, everybody. Although during this month I was still actively playing Runescape, I wasn't actually playing on this one. In fact (and some may already have known this before), I was playing on a member's account with the name of Singha2002. I was so busy enjoying members, I didn't bother going on the forums for such long time. But now that the account has 1 day till members expires, I have to wait till my friend in Canada puts more members on that account. Anyways, didn't know you guys are still posting on my skill log! I thought it's been long since dead... :o Well, I was at Taiwan for the month, but I still had computer and internet access. ;) Heh heh. I plan on getting 70 (as with all other skills), possibly 77 for blood runes. And one more bad news. The program that I use to prevent lag-outs (which is Hotspot Shield, if you wanted to know) is down atm, which immediately crosses out minigames and Dungeoneering (as they require a good internet connection). So don't be surprised if you don't see anymore Dungeoneering level-ups!
  10. @ Jactise: Hmm, I guess you're correct in a way. I guess the token cost for the rewards would be equal to the level that is needed to obtain them. @ Pinkbullet: Oh, I see what you mean. Ok, in that case then it should be fixed.
  11. I just say "dungeon", lol. Easier version of "dungeoneering", and not confused with other things too.
  12. 1. Yes, it is F2P. 2. I don't think so, since there are no fly fishing spots on Karamja island.
  13. I know what to do with the portals - stand at least 2 squares away from them. That way, I don't take damage from the portals. It's Bal'lak's broken attack speed that gets me every single time. :wall:
  14. Yay, another new level up. 3 more levels to go till I reach my goal!
  15. Dang, it seems like after this update, my internet connection seems to glitch up a lot more often now. :wall: Dungeon rooms won't load properly, disconnecting is frequent, and high latency overall. Oh well, hope for the best I guess.
  16. But does that prevent him from doing tremendous amounts of damage on me, even armor on + offensive prayers? Nope. And anyways if you continue to lure him into the portals it's just as effective as gatestoning. Since its lowest form is level 91 (which I always get), I can't imagine what it would be like to fight him as a 1 defense pure...
  17. Sure you can craft runes and buy arrows, but level 45 forgotten rangers don't appear very often. There is also no way to obtain staffs other than the unholy cursebearer and Comp 1, so it's only fair that free players get access to fletching so they can obtain these items. That, or the shop should sell staffs up to spinebeam, and shortbows/longbows up to spinebeam. That way, it's fair for free players to freely create ranged/magic weapons whenever they want.
  18. I'm sorry, I just have to vent a bit. BAL'LAK THE PUMMELLER, YOU FAIL.   Seriously, this is easily the hardest boss fight in solo runs... I'm rushing F33 on Comp 1 to practice on this guy (and perhaps obtain the journal part), and every time I meet this guy, I keep dying like 3-5 times. I've even lured him to the green portals to lower his defense, but even then he was still tough to hit... not to mention he deals very rapid damage. >.<" Any tips against this guy? I've tried slash, crush, and ranged, and none were effective. (No weakness maybe? :wall: )
  19. It holds an extra 27 coal. You can have a maximum of 54 coal per banking trip this way. :D Whaaa? No way, I'm not going on that virus link. It holds 27 coal. Check out the database entry here. Check it out Sonic. Your blog is so awesome even the ad bots are posting! Yay, can't believe even people of that sort posted. :P  Speaking of more levels, here's more! None are dungeoneering, but all are levels I got within dungeoneering!

Devnull, very unfortunately you cannot take Explorer's Rings on Entrana. (I'm not sure why they did this, but meh.)
  21. Thank you for your ideas, I'll add those! Also, there should be a cooking range, a farming patch, and a prayer altar added here. The exit ladder should be removed (just click "Leave Party"), and the items on the tables should be automatically allocated into your inventory. That way, the tables aren't necessary anymore. Also, when you leave, the items will automatically be back in the smuggler's room so you don't run so far for your items.
  22. Yeah. Whenever me and some other people find a bot in the mining guild, we all either try to mine the bot's rock, or spam trade his chatbox. This is one of the bright sides to bots - you're able to screw around with them. The other bright side is cheaper raw materials. I actually want more rune/pure essence bots now.
  23. Whoa... you were able to resist the pains of mining runite for 2 levels? Grats on 99 mining!

In terms of games, Mario games. Although I did used to like Sonic games more (the classics, Advance/Rush/Heroes/Adventure games), recently I decided to give Mario another go. NSMBWii, Mario Kart Wii and Super Mario Galaxy are so much win. I'm gonna buy SMG2 for the Wii as well. Character wise, I like Sonic and his buddies more.
  25. I like the bots that lower the prices of raw materials. Makes buyables much more profitable. Then again, doom for people who train mining/wc/fishing. I guess most bots are harmful, like the ones in the mining guild, but there needs to be more rune/pure ess bots. Srsly. And mining guild is excellent for F2P, even more with the coal bag.
