The F2P General Discussion Thread
Longbows here are speed 5, not 4 as in above surface. Plus, they have very huge accuracy. A tier 1 longbow has better ranged bonus than tier 5 shortbow. And as a matter of fact, a tier 5 longbow has better ranged bonus than tier 11 shortbow! Longbows are hugely favored here, possibly a bit too favored. And as for the music thing, I have yet to encounter Bal'lak, and I have 214 songs atm.

The shunned skill capes
All 99's require hard work... And it's ridiculous for you to say that last part. So you're saying anyone who gets 99 fletching is "noob"? Seriously, just because one 99 is easier does not mean it is "easy" overall. People need to understand this fact.

I just noticed your "1. Farming In-Depth" section. The bottom part of it is ALL bold. I suppose you only wanted to bold one word, but mistakenly typed the wrong thing? Other than that, nice guide. Sadly, I'm F2P and cannot make suggestions lol.

Music?
I usually have my comp on mute most of the time, and I don't bother to listen to my iPod (right earphone is broken). But I sometimes put the sound on, and since I train dung, the music is actually rather nice (especially furnished floors).

Well since I'm dungeoneering I shall only mention dung stuff. - remove member stuff in F2P dungeoneering - nerf the combat exp when fighting the Skeletal Horde - increase the binding limit - some more stuffs, but I believe wearable skillcapes and F2P fletching are most important. Hope this helps.

I have a question, what's the typical method you guys do dung? Although I get upwards of 8k per floor with duo/trio med dungeons, I do get a nice 2k-3k per floor solo. I play a mix of both. The time spent doing large floors isn't worth the 15k+ exp imo. Not to mention member stuff.

90 minutes for a solo, comp 6 dungeon? WHAT. It takes me only 20 minutes each AT MOST. And I kill every monster and open every room as well. But agreed, there needs to be a "save progress" thing.

lol 1 rcing Once you hit the high levels with Runecrafting, you'll hit the mega-bucks very quickly. 91 Runecrafting (double natures) is notorious with its over 1M+ gp per hour.

Huh what. On W1 I still see a lot of people asking for a team, 5:5 larges or small rushes, duo meds, etc. And most of these people are pretty good at it (though they like rushing into the boss, but this is F2P - no boss is too overpowered). And soloing is still pretty decent, I seem to get 2k-3k exp per floor, and I can complete them within 10-15 minutes. @ hit_u_ranger: What the hell. No, seriously, WHAT THE HELL. :wall:

Howbadisbad, if you want to hate on dungeoneering, go on right ahead, but you can't deny the fact it's fun, and it's a SKILL. Anyways, support the Charmchompa idea. Perhaps also a "Money Magnet", to pick up coin drops? :P

Dungeoneering
About the stuff you get when you start the dungeon, there's one crucial fact I've noticed. You have to be 20 levels above the requirement to use it (2 tiers higher), in order for it to spawn. My friend has 59 defense but only gets kratonite armor, but he has 61 attack and gets fractite weapons. This is why you never get stuff over tier 8 (other than fish). Also, on the starting tables, you will ALWAYS get items of your dominant style. If your combat is melee-based, you will get melee weapons.

Well I'm only planning on getting Dung to 70, then getting all remaining skills to 70 (except pray which I level to 60). After that, I'll probably become a member if I knew how to. And I'm getting roughly 10k-15k exp per hour in the dungeons.

@ Pink: That is a nice tool that you have there. But can't you just write the names down on paper or something lol? Extra stuff like that kinda lags a bit. @ Plasma: Yeah that's exactly what I'm planning. Get all stats 70+, get a good amount of cash, activate all diaries, do un-filtered quests, etc. Dunno how I can get mems in China though. Basically I just do all I can on F2P then switch to mems.

I have a fire staff bound, mainly for fire blast but also high alch. And yes indeed you should bind a staff as you can't obtain any staffs anywhere else other than comp 1 and cursebearer boss. You can ask someone to make you 125 death runes and you can bind those.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
My friend's account has just been members, and after playing on it, needless to say the experience from that was much more different. I'm sorry to say, my fellow F2P friends, after I get all stats 70+, there is a POSSIBILITY that I might become members. I want to experience new quests, skills, minigames, etc etc etc and most importantly Dungeoneering in a whole new different feel. Gotta love those powerful items and new interfaces! The keyword is POSSIBILITY so I might not actually get members then. But who knows?

@ cuddyboy: Hmm, I guess the binding limit is too much. I'll change it to 30, 60, 90, and 120 then. As for deaths, being penalized for an honest effort at an attempt is ridiculous. And the resources, I'd rather make it a bonus, because making it base exp might make a huge impact on score.
