easyiest skill to lvl 99?
Technically Construction is the fastest, as, from RSWiki, states that it's possible to get it within a week. But the cash needed... So yeah, basically it's Cooking. Warning though, no 99's are easy in that sense. They all take massive amounts of grinding.

Haha, finally I can do the next set of Abandoned floors.

Dungeoneering: longbow or shortbow?
Are you sure it's THAT underpowered? Speed 6 with such a HUGE accuracy (better than rapiers, in fact) makes up for the low ranged strength. Also, forgotten rangers are the hardest to kill of the 3 forgotten types, imo. I'm FORCED to use protect from ranged, meanwhile I can lolmage the warriors and lolrange the mages.

Dungeoneering: longbow or shortbow?
Longbow. If rapid, shortbows are speed 7 and longbows are speed 6. However, the longbow is MUCH more accurate than the shortbow. If you want an idea, the tier 5 shortbow has less accuracy than the tier 1 longbow. And if you wish to mix styles (which is pretty much a must on later floors), longbow is the better choice because of its huge accuracy. It's no surprise that you're called a noob when shortbow-ing.

Least painful way to FM?
You can cut trees with the inferno adze. It provides a chance that 25% of your inventory of logs will be burned. Except it's not THAT fast so yeah... at least it's not painful and you can train wcing.

Dungeoneering Suggestions
@ Zhong: No, I don't think that will work. It can pressure a lot of people to finish dungeons faster, not to mention if you get lots of hard mobs, lots of puzzles, or even a hard boss, it makes the bonus less visible. Thanks for mentioning that idea though. @ will_holmes: Hmm, I guess it should be just +5% addition for resources. Perhaps if you used the materials that you have gathered, to make something useful, you would automatically get that 5% extra. Food in fishing spots would be a good example of this.

Oinkbullet3.
Wow, you get dungeoneering levels FAR faster than I do. Though that's mostly because I toss 5:5 larges right out of the picture...

What do you find best weapon for Dungeoneering?
Melee: Whatever I get on the starting table, since I ALWAYS get fractite. If I had to pick one though, longsword. Ranged: Spinebeam longbow + 125 fractite arrows (both of those are bound for me) Magic: Catalytic staff, though I'm only getting it at 70+ rc.

Yeah. Bonus rooms ALWAYS have a level requirement, so one of the players has the hunter level.
-
Sonic - rip blogging
Not really. Compared to other skills, this one I can't really level that much in. It's mainly due to the fact that each floor doesn't give so much exp. And some people already have 100+ dungeoneering now.

What I mean is, is it possible to catch the ferret if you continue to click on it (therefore continuing to chase after it)? It seems plausible, but I'm not sure.

Is it possible for solo players though, by spam-clicking the ferret?
-
Dungeoneering 70 - 80 - 88
For Frozen/Abandoned/Furnished, I either solo or 2:2/3:3 medium them. Large maps just aren't worth it due to the amount of time it takes to finish, but that's personal experience.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Waaaaat. Doesn't catching the ferret require hunter, therefore "You are unable to catch the ferret."?

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Is it worth it to always do the highest difficulty possible, or is it better to tone it down a bit? Say, is 5:4 a better option than 5:5?

Dungeoneering Suggestions
@ will_holmes: Nonono, I don't mean that you will be penalized if you don't use resources. This is just a small, added bonus that does not affect base/prestige in any way, unlike bonus rooms. And about the magic shield, it would involve Fletching to create (5 levels above the requirement), and must be enchanted on an altar. For example, to make a bryll shield (?), you need to have a fletching level of 45, and a runecrafting level of 45. If you don't enchant it, it would just be a spinebeam shield, a regular shield used for melee, or even ranged if crossbows were released. And I like your boss warning idea, I'll add this on the front page!

Complexity level 1 error?
We can now post bugs/glitches/errors in General Discussion here, in case you don't know. :P

Complexity level 1 error?
Yeah... dunno what that is doing there. Though, maybe certain rooms always contain something, so meh. You can even right-click and see/use all the options, but due to the lack of ess you can't actually do anything. The same applies to furnaces/anvils, spinning wheels, cooking ranges, and summoning obelisks. Also, notice the quest interface? Sometimes that happens too.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
The first 5 means the amount of players in your party, and the second 5 means the difficulty you chose. In this case, 5:5 means 5 players, difficulty 5. Difficulty 5 is just too much for my liking. :ohnoes:

Best f2p money maker?
Corpse mages, undoubtedly. Sure, they are unaggressive, but then again, all monsters go unaggressive after 10 minutes. They drop ALL talismans, a crapload of coins, runes, and other stackables, and... yeah, a whole lot of those. You can make several hundred k's per trip if you get lucky and stuff.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
You know what? After my first 5:5 large map, I think I'm better off doing 2:2 or 3:3 medium maps... There were so many tough monsters clumped together in a room, not to mention some of the team members aren't really cooperating well... Not to mention a system update occurred halfway through the dungeon. /me hates difficulty 5 maps on large. :wall:

Dungeoneering & System Updates?
A system update has just occurred for me while in a middle of a 5-man... and we didn't even reach the boss lol. >_< I agree, the warning needs to be extended to 30 minutes or even 1 hour.

Did some more dungeoneering again. I tried a 5-man large, but a system update occurred before we can even get to the boss. >_<

13-May-2010 Fairy Tale Part 3 & DirectX Support and Graphics Options
DirectX support ftw! Now I'm able to have decent graphics without lagging so much. Still have to resort to fixed screen however.

Dungeoneering RC Altar Right-Click Options
I checked the right-click on the newly updated Runecrafting altar, and noticed this: Why is the "Imbue Staff" option not along the rest?
