Why not? Dungeoneering isn't ALL about combat, and there are some awesome rewards for you to take, like the coal bag. You might want the farming scroll, the anti-poison totem, and the tome of frost as well. I don't really think so. There are guardian doors which pretty much require you to kill the monsters, and you have to defeat the boss anyway. Why don't you train combat? Here's my phrase: I'm a skiller, a killer, but not a pker. In fact, once I get all 70+, a decent amount of cash, and become a member, this shall become more apparent.

Dungeoneering - The nerf of "Rushing"
I thought that rushing can be done even faster with a lower setting that doesn't bring exp penalties into place... And yes, 5:1 is possible.

99 firemaking
Grats on 99 firemaking! It looks easy but it really isn't. :o

F2P Boss Monster - Elvarg | 30+ supporters! | NEW! Support siggy's!
It's still good to see a boss monster outside of Dungeoneering in the free game. Continue updating it nevertheless, it's an excellent suggestion.

F2P Combat Training
Flesh crawlers in the Stronghold of Security. Giant spiders in the same area works too (and in fact is better exp/hour), but you need better food.

99 Dungeoneering
Grats on 99! Good luck on 120 (if you'll ever get it that is).

The shunned skill capes
Congrats on achieving your goal, btw! It is definitely awesome to be able to achieve something you enjoy. :D

About the "Mask of Dragith Nurn"
If you're killing corpse mages, definitely. They are the only helmets with offense bonuses in everything, which is what only matters there. If not, keep it anyway for the looks.

Sonic's F2P Runecrafting Guide
Thanks for all the replies, everyone! :D I'm kinda stuck at the moment. I'm not sure whether I should put Runecrafting in Dungeoneering here... I COULD mention the 44+ rc air rune trick, but then a lot of people know about it, and it's horrible exp...

Yeah right... :P I just keep joining teams, play medium dungeons and get a whole load of exp at the end. When all my floors are marked as "finished" (you can tell by the tick), I reset. On average I get like 15k exp per hour.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
If the next few floors will be P2P only, I shall get Dung to 70-ish, get all other stats to 70, and BECOME A MEMBER!!! Actually, this brings up something. Do all "100% F2Pers" have a P2P account stashed away somewhere? I personally do, although I haven't touched Construction or Hunter yet.

Kaida23's Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero!
Grats on 96 Mining! Oh wow, 1M exp till next level?

Fire Staff vs Catalytic Staff
I get a fractite weapon each time I start a dungeon (usually battleaxe or maul), so I bind both range and magic. Also, monsters in F2P don't hit really hard so armor isn't really needed. I really only die of carelessness - I can just pray against the monster attacks. And hmm, I see about the fire staff. Thanks for answering my question, fire staff it is!

Dungeoneering: Beyond the Release
About this whole efficiency thing, I actually prefer doing meds with a friend or two. Maybe more if I felt like it. The exp is not that bad (~6k-8k exp per floor @ pres 31), and they don't take too long to complete (half hour is probably the average). Then again, I'm F2P, which means I get less exp killing monsters/bosses since they are significantly lower leveled. I prefer to think of meds as the "casual" approach (or "happy medium" as qeltar says :P ): not too bad, and not the most efficient, but fun to do. And about Batch 2, I really hope the boss monsters are harder, and hope that Bilrach won't be a disappointment.

"Who wants to be my GF/BF" - Any of you?
Actually, most of the people that ask for a gf/bf are just screwing around with people. They don't actually mean it seriously. Also, contrary to popular belief, there ARE girls on Runescape so stop being sexist ffs. My telltale is that they type in complete sentences (in some kind of "girly" way... I'm not trying to be sexist here! :o ) and that they like to use emoticons a lot. And perhaps their name...? Sure, some guys do that too (such as myself, for example), but it's mostly the girls that like to add emotes at the end of their sentences. :P

Why can't F2P have...?
I shall once again say this: we already got 18 new bosses in the form of dungeoneering. And this isn't even including some of the extremely hard monsters you face, mainly the 100+ combat monsters.

Top 250 F2P Skill Total List
So he botted 98-99 prayer? Oh wow. (Possibly more than that, but kind of a guess. More than that and I think people will realize he's autoclicking.)

Fire Staff vs Catalytic Staff
That's the obvious answer, but how would that change if I were to get 70 RC?

Dungeoneering made me quit
Nonono, I mean that unlike above surface monsters, Daemonheim monsters will occasionally "lose interest" in you when you safespot, sometimes moving out of it (effectively moving into attack range). And I should go into more specific about the monster combat level. It affects both its offense and defense, and unlike above surface it increases far more exponentially. Ever wonder why praying is a must when you fight high-level monsters and bosses in Daemonheim? If you don't, they can easily kill you while you safe like hell. Attack styles matter a hell lot too (though I guess you know that already). This proves the defense of monsters here is unusually higher than above surface. Bosses also seem to have a ton of hitpoints for their level. ~10000 LP or even more for the 400+ versions. And even a 115 ranger has over 1000 LP.

Fire Staff vs Catalytic Staff
Ok, so this basically explain it. Should I bind a fire staff, or a catalytic staff? I currently have a fire staff bound (the others being spinebeam longbow and 125 fractite arrows), and I'm thinking of replacing it with the +15% damage staff. But here's another deal: is it worth it to get my Runecrafting to 70 (for 3 fire runes per essence) for the staff? It is 67 at the moment. I'm trying to decide, because I need to know which is more efficient for maging in Daemonheim. Note I do sometimes alch items, specifically torn bags. KEYWORD: Efficient. If I'm going for effectiveness, I would have definitely selected the catalytic staff. Thanks! :)

afk range scelatal horde: worth it?
Don't underestimate the monster's abilities. 5 high-level skeletons piling you can overwhelm the skinweaver's ability to heal you. It honestly isn't worth it, really. Monsters in Daemonheim are much more dangerous than monsters above ground.

Dungeoneering Leeching verse Dieing
But still, dying makes you respawn back at the smuggler's room, which can be quite frustrating in large dungeons (especially with no gatestone). And sometimes there are things like monolith rooms and the rock maze. Also, very tough bosses (500+) are bound to kill you.

Yay! You training Dungeoneering like everyone else, or...?

Dungeoneering made me quit
Try safespotting any monster. All they will do is simply moonwalk out of the spot, and possibly move out of attacking range. They have lots of offense and defense too. Also, bosses can turn off prayers, do heavy damage, and have some nasty tricks on the spot. The combat level of monsters/bosses in Daemonheim = a player of that combat level.

Dungeoneering Leeching verse Dieing
Deaths should NOT be a penalty, imo. In fact, there should be a bonus for not dying, and it decreases every time you die. Say it would be +10%, and each time you die it deducts 1% from this. After 10 deaths, it stays at 0%, not going into the negatives.
