  1. The Staff of Light has the same +15% damage... And the Chaotic Staff has like what, +1 more magic accuracy?
  2. Members is even more of a drag than free play imo... believe me I've played it and I wish I spent the time training my main's dungeoneering.
  3. I registered and didn't get a SINGLE mail from Jagex (apart from the confirmation one), so it's all good. Registering is really worth the 10 extra bank spaces. ;)
  4. @ Requiem: That sounds like a nice idea. I'll put it on the front post. @ toycat: I lowered lots of things down, so it actually matches the dungeoneering level requirement. The bonecrusher can be used at level 24 or so, which is about 50k exp. However the amount of tokens needed right now is roughly equal to about level 40-ish. And the bonecrusher is obsolete anyway.
  5. It's easy to tell if the e-mail is fake or not... there are \'s inbetween the apostrophes. Thanks for the heads up anyways.

Maple shortbow > sighted longbow for training. The monsters that are the best to train on don't require you to be in full rune all the time, even less if you safespot.

Keep all GOP tokens, they are very handy for their cash. For runecrafting, I prefer not using gloves because of the extra profit that you can make. For ranged, minotaurs should also be looked at, but only if you exclusively use iron arrows. For woodcutting, maples are another alternative, but if you're a pro dropper, stick with willows. For smithing, I guess you can just superheat your way there. Never, ever w1 team unless you're 70+, and by then you should find clan chats for dungeoneering. Steph's clan chat has good people there.
  8. Why can't we just have all 3 spellbooks at once? Same with both prayers and curses. To switch, you can simply click on the "tab" within the spellbook/prayer. If you wanted to switch from ancients to lunars, you can click on the lunar tab to switch. It's THAT simple, why not make the system like that?
  9. Well that's what I THOUGHT you were referring to. How I type doesn't mean I correctly understand what people say every time. Anyways, I'll just leave you guys here. I only came here because I thought it would be just like all the other weapon debates (where speed wins out).
  10. Never train slayer purely for cash. Train it for the exp. That will never work out for most tasks, and you're not guaranteed a rare drop from a task anyway. I thought my blue dragon task will make me great money (as what many told me), but in the end what did I make, 1m at most?
  11. Slayer monsters aren't strong against stab (especially metal dragons) so I don't see how I was totally wrong there. Ok, I admit I was wrong and a bit over the head with bosses. I don't really want this to get any further, so I'll just stop there.
  12. I just did a few days ago. Freshman year is pretty awesome. About RS, still no levels, but I managed to solo Shadow-forger Ihlakhizan with one very clumsy death. If I haven't walked into the explosion I would probably have killed him without dying. <_<
  13. First off, I HAVE been a member so I know what I'm talking about. And I was mainly referring to normal training and slayer, where speed always wins out over power. Maybe I was a bit wrong about bosses, but whatever.
  14. And full zammy on Singha. Never had any luck on my main though. :(
  15. RUNECRAFTIIIIIIING. Makes 200k+ tops if you are 80+ rc and it's one of the best long-term money makers. It's already 100k per hour at 50. If you buy your essence via GOP the profits are even greater.
  16. Yeah... Well, as soon as I go back to Taiwan for the holidays I will have excellent internet connection again. Which isn't for another few months.
  17. Just give less exp per assist on effigies... that way the 30k cap can be put to good use.
  18. Gratz, get 99 if you can! ^.^

Why does it take a SINGLE SECOND to cook a pizza in Runescape, when it could take half an hour in real life? Why do you take 300+ damage by hitting your own hand with a hammer? (Failing Smithing doors.) Why do you fish heim crabs with a fishing rod?
  20. yesh i wud luv 2 wer holiday items in fog cuz tey r teh awsum lookinz!!!!!111!!! [hide]Holiday items suck, tbh.[/hide]
  21. It really doesn't appeal to me that much, and it wasn't what I expected. Sure, training slayer and doing quests are nice activities, but that's it. And if you honestly think the community is bad in f2p, something is wrong with you.
  22. Ohh boy... let's not turn this into another "scimmy vs the other crap" debates. <_< Anyway, pantim is right. The fastest weapon in a certain tier is always the superior one. Of course, the exception is Daemonheim weapons, in which the 2h and spear are the best. Ok, back to the debate. I'm still sticking to my claim that the chaotic rapier is the best. Sure, maybe in GWD the longsword may fare better, but it probably won't be that big of a difference anyway.
  23. Thanks to e-mail registering update, free play has 10 extra bank spaces. Problem with bank is now officially solved.

    1-25: Solo small c6 rush. 26-35: 5:5 large.
  25. Nah... you can go ask Steph herself why. That is why I purely solo now.
