  1. The new animation seems very awkward and sloppy.
  2. It's 5:41AM in the morning so if I don't make ANY sense at all, that's why. I definitely agree that there should not be any F2P quest capes. The few quests that F2P does have doesn't seem to really justify to having a cape for it, even though it is still an accomplishment to finish them all. But comparing skill wise, it isn't much. The "F2P Quest Achievement Marker" may as well be some of great stepping stone towards the member quests. Mind you there are some annoying and sort of long quests on F2P, but I can't honestly compare them to the P2P ones because I know those are THAT much harder. In terms of where the capes could be sold: Yes that can definitely resolve things. :P But it would be wise to be teleported elsewhere like how Wendy teleports you to Maggie if you need to get another broom. Don't want to start a HUGE breeding ground of beggars on F2P to be honest. :wall: At least with this one maybe you can teleport two and from the place inconspicuously... Or we can just avoid all that and just stick with the original idea. :| Oh man, I just reread that and am thinking, "Wow, I probably sound like the most nonsensical person these guys will ever meet." Never again will I type at 5:41AM... Nah, that post was ok, better than what I did after a weeks worth of sleep deprivation  The only thing I see wrong with the whole teleing thing is people will be waiting for you to get back, you could have them tele you to a place of your choosing like all of the place any other thing can tele you (all the glory, games necklace, combat bracelet, skills necklace, ring of duelling and all the spell locations) That way no body could stand there and annoy you and slightly helpful. They could choose at random but that would just be annoying.

F2p support 7% of the game, not a huge number but what is 7% of 1 million? Which jagex easily makes. Were excatly did obama come from? I am pretty sure it was the ghetto. :? Maybe they don't want to waste £42 a year on a game. The last part doesnt make sense. By the way what is the definition of trolling. :? It's all about you isn't it. God pull your head out your [wagon] and relise other people exsist. Mauranius could probably become a member but he wants to 99 every f2p skill 1st, I could be wrong but it is a possibility. JAGEX shouldn't have made the game a chore to do and they have seen that with updates like cook x so it is possible that this will be put in the game, they might have just over looked it. This made me laugh. "Look at all the bugs that are surfacing lately at about every update" Does that mean we should stop updating all together?

I have only played it once
  5. But if they do post "no" we could troll them  I think poking them with a mighty spork is more apt  Psst, get back on topic. ;) And don't do that, RSOF mods might not appreciate it. :P Sorry got a bit bored  No quest cape and identical skill capes for f2p skills in f2p worlds sold by a mix of old and new npc's in various places around the f2p area in both members and f2p worlds. Thats what I think the best solution is.

It isn't always about members! F2p can have an update that doesn't effect p2p. Your talking like they should get 1 update a year and be happy with it. They can have two updates that don't involve members, there is no written law that jagex have to conform to, they could have a months worth of updates just for f2p if they wanted to do so and you can't stop them. wth! that update would effect members. it would help p2p a lot! but its just you guys dont realize it. maybe your doing slayer or training and you pick up bones. have full inv and just do "bury x". it will affect all, just members not as much. I know that but I just wanted to make the point that it doesn't matter how many times f2p gets updated or if them updates effect members or not.
  7. Half this thread smells of Bloodsport or Fight Club or some weird hybrid of the two... ...with a touch of Enter the Dragon. I'd like to say my fighting style is a mix of The Matrix with a hint of Fight Club, personally. Violent slow motion? :?

  9. Am I the only person who didn't understand that? :?

  11. Damn, went the wrong way. We could but it would join the ranks of the other 50 odd threads on this exact same topic and then be bombarded with idiotic posts. Plus it would be nearly impossable to copy and paste every single post before some body thinks it will be a good idea to interupt the posting with a comment like "no".
  12. Shot in the dark. Were you an only child? I am trying to improve my psychology skills  Unfortuantly non of this is up to us so we can argue and debate this all we like but in the end JAGEX arn't going to read this so it doesn't matter.
  13. Bit selfish. No quest cape and identical skill capes for f2p skills in f2p worlds sold by a mix of old and new npc's in various places around the f2p area in both members and f2p worlds. Simples!
  14. F2p quest cape lol i think everyone would have that. I am the other side of the argument now. Let me get my "worn out arguments" book out .... Ah, here we go. They don't pay for it! They don't deserve it! No. End of story. Seriously. If Jagex hid all the p2p quests from f2p then I would say ok but it is odd that you can see you havn't done all the quests but you have a cape for doing all the quests :? Would that mean members who have done all the f2p quests could get the cape? If they made it. That would hack alot of people off! :|

  16. I don't think f2p should get the quest cape though cos they havn't done all the quests.

You can say what ever you like about p2p being the full game and f2p being a demo but your wrong, simple as. If you want to carry it on further contact JAGEX or make a thread about it.
  18. Actually any body can lie on a bed of nails it is just physics. You have to work out how to evenly spread your weight over a certian area and how much pressure a certain part of your skin can take. For instance you could have a board with every millimeter used to put nails through in that case there is no chance of you being killed cos your weight is all over the nails. Or you could have 1 nail right in the middle so all your wieght is on 1 part of your back in that case you will be lying on the board with a steel nail coming out of your abdomen
  19. I'm confused as to what I need to make up my mind on. the effect of f2p getting skills capes in regards to the economy, you bring it up, shoot it down then support your point that it had an effect on the economy. No I didn't, I'm afraid you misunderstood what I was saying. So what were you saying cos from them quotes I took from your posts it sounds like your a bit confused. ForsakenMage, you could always not buy the cape to save bank space or give f2p an extra 15 spots. What about my idea of giving things like the melee capes to Scavvo in the champs guild, the magic cape could be in the tower south of draynor, in other words give npc's new items or chat "sequences" (for lack of a better word). It seems f2p are in need of a good cape and what better stats and reward than the second best cape in p2p? Emotes and looks I agree with.

So like I said, say what you see

  22. Economy this, economy that, you ought to play election bingo. Grab a card and place different words around the card, in bingo format, and try to make a line. (Hint: use words like Economy, healthcare, citizen etc.) OT: Prices did not skyrocket because skillcapes were realeased, it was a string of updates. And no, achieving a 99 has not become more difficult or any less profitable than it has in the past, in fact there are many effective ways to train and combat skill effectively and still profit! (See armoured zombies, aviansies etc.) Other than that, once again, skillcapes aren't the only reason that prices (according to you) rised; just one of many. First off, I don't see what the fuss is about talking about economical effects. The 99 capes are much bigger than the "you don't pay so you don't get any" argument. I was referring to the secondary skills like fletch, fm, crafting, etc. And I never said that the capes were the only reason that prices rose, although they were one of the biggest factors. Make up your mind. "I don't see what the fuss is about talking about economical effects." "I was referring to the secondary skills like fletch, fm, crafting, etc." "Not to mention the effects on the runescape economy." :|
  23. why? Wouldn't know it's coming. No 'final thoughts' or moments. So you would rather go through the rest of these painfull and/or slow deaths so you can have a final few moments rather than going to sleep like any other time then not even relising your dead. (Lets please not go into the whole life after death argument)
  24. And if they make skillcapes ftp i guarantee that members will be ranting. Not to mention the effects on the runescape economy. Before the skillcapes release, some of the best ways to train skills efficiently were very profitable. However, once the capes arrived, prices skyrocketed and now there are almost no ways to train the majority of skills without taking a major loss. How much worse do you think the prices of those materials would get if at least triple the amount of people had an incentive to max too? Maybe people will stop training like that then and actually spend 5 mins doing there own resource collecting like I do, instead of camping in GWD make a few mill then buy there skills. They will get exp alot quicker that way, like mine your own ores and smelt them instead of teleing to the ge buying the ores, going across to edgeville, smelt them then sell them back, then mine like crazy to get 99 mining. Btw did you read the thing about RWT?
  25. That is the best way to die, this thread is about the worst.
