Sorry if this has been said before but I don't want to read through 9 pages just for this. How come in the inventory section you havn't used a mud staff? You have 2k earth and a water staff. (camping section)

Pick up a hatchet and a machete after getting up to that point in the legends quest.

For WGS just get 80 ranged. For herblore kill chaos druids for plenty of herbs. Smithing - ecto to the port and smith steel bars then into cannon balls if you want. (although that is quite slow compared to making the bars) Crafting - spin flax. Farming - do while doing other things herbs are the best for money, trees for exp.

They have a limit - too many selfish idiot members Fair point but it is there game if they want to give them capes then they will, if they want to give them a new skill they will, it is really not up to us. We may moan about most updates (if not all of them) but we don't really have that much of a say, just look at the out cry for high level gear. Yeah, but Jagex still has to remember that the customers are the bosses. They might have their own company and be able to make their own decisions, but if the customers are unhappy, say goodbye to your profit, and indirectly the game itself. I have nothing against f2p, I hate p2p whiner noobs a lot too. I'm just mentioning some constraints which might affect Jagex's choice whether to give f2p skillcapes or not. The most loved thing in runescape was old school wild then jagex removed it and have radically changed it and people still play the game so jagex can pretty much do what they like and still have a highly profitable business. (barring anything completly devastating to the game like removing combat totaly from the game but the jagex staff are never going to do that)

So train your combat stats, I saw a girl on youtube do the balance elemental using range so get that to about 70/75 wear karils and ask some body else for the bolts to use :lol: (I am not a range fan) You can only use certain bolts with karils (unless you don't use his/her crossbow).

Skill capes are to much effort for such little reward which means they are far from high level. In the time I have had my account I have got mediocre skills (maybe less than that) in the same time frame somebdoy could have easily got 99 in any of the following in f2p wc, fishing, fm att, str, def, magic and range. So the line "Getting a 99 does not show that you have "worked hard", it shows how much time you have sat in front of the computer playing games more than other people" means nothing. What is stopping jagex releasing f2p capes and something else like a monster or whatever? It's not like they have to keep to a strict limit of f2p updates.

I really want to know how you timed a point of a second? Try with a whip. I havn't got two eats in a row before cos I never needed to do so. I am pretty sure when you are pking you don't eat more than once (from what I have read) so by going from what you have said maybe it is worth attempting when you (or any body else) pk's cos while there maybe a delay after the 2nd hit you might have killed them on the 2nd hit so the delay (that you claim exsits) would be negated.

I can't really say anything about the hellhounds since I never trained on them. I think what the guy meant by jagex will lose nothing is if you had a million pound and lost a penny you havn't really lost anything have you? How is "If they want people to know they have a 99 in a skill, they can go around and QC spam their skill level." that an opinion? It's a stupid statment, I would have used idea but it isn't even that. I doubt this thread will be locked cos there doesnt seem to be aything negative going on in it.

Which is maybe why runescape is damn popular. I don't understand why your getting so worked up over 15 mediocre capes. If we were talking about sharing fletching (upto yew obviously) with f2p then I would probably be on the other side of this debate but 15 capes, come on .....

Surly stringing shorts then longs would be the quickest till 99. Buy the string then the unstrung bows maybe using a sacred clay fletching knife.

How often do members bang on and on in those forums and it hardley ever happens, mostly cos the mods have to sift through the crap to find the gems but in the end jagex do what they want.

A few years back you could time it, maybe he hasn't played since then lol but they fixed it now so you always miss a turn to make it fair Your right and wrong lol I havn't played for about 4 years but I have been doing it at drags just last week. It may not work on pking but I wouldn't know since I don't try it but I have said that before, I think :? . Seriously just try and do it at differing times during the attack "phase" (for lack of a better phrase) and see for yourself.
