Hi, over the past few months I've had some great (well I think they're great, anyways :-P) ideas about improvements the game could have that would make it better. Since I'm not too good at intros, let's just get right to 'em. 1.) Alching tablets. This is for people on Lunars or Ancients who are on a task and get a drop that is good for alching, such as a mithril or addy item. of course, the tablet would be more expensive, because of the clay you need, but it would be worth going away with more stuff. 2.) Improved whip spec. My new spec for the whip has 50% decreased accuracy and strength. However it is very fast and has a lot of hits. The number and speed of hits would be determined by your strength and agility levels, respectively. For the number of hits, it would be your strength level divided by 10, rounded down. For example, with my strength level of 81 I would have 8 hits. For the speed of the hits, it would go something like this: 1-50 agility=speed of 7 51-95 agility=speed of 8 96-99 agility=speed of 9 The spec would use 100% of the spec bar. 3.) An agility-like combat skill. (Evading) With this system, the evading level and weight would determine your change of dodging (not getting hit at all) attacks, while defence and defensive bonus would determine the amount of damage you get hit. Heavy armour was make to resist attacks after all, not to help you dodge them! A person with level 99 defence and about 200 defence bonus should have the damage reduced to half, and someone with 99 evading and less than 15 kg weight should have the number of times they are hit reduced by half. You can choose between training defense and evading. However, you cannon train evading if your weight is more than 40+1/4 str. 4.) Ability to choose between make-x and manual making With make-x you would click less but in manual mode you would be able to make the thing slightly faster, resulting in more profit or xp. 5.) A spec bar by the minimap Pretty self-explanatory there. 6.) Customizable hotkeys For example, pressing ctrl+w would switch me to my whip, ctrl+g would switch to my guthan's spear, ctrl+v would make me cast vengeance (if I could), ctrl+e would have me eat some food (going from highest healing to lowest), etc. 7.) Another use for GoP staffs Mages are always complaining about the high cost of their spells. Also, the staffs from GoP have little use. Why not fix both these problems at the same time? The staffs would be enchanted so that they would provide unlimited amounts of the rune that the talisman is. However, to enchant them, there is a very long and complex process. First, you must take it to Wizard Elriss in the guild and pay her 4000 GoP tokens for her to enchant it. Then, take the staff to Fiara at Fog and give her 1k Fog tokens to partially enchant it. Next, take the staff to Albury in the Varrock Rune Shop and pay 100k coins. Finally, you must take the staff to its altar and use it on the altar, with 200 of the runes in your inventory. Afterwords, the staff will provide unlimited runes that the staff is. To use the staff, you must have the runecrafting level to make the runes that staff provides, as well as a magic level 10 above that. For example. for a death staff, you would need 65 runecrafting and 75 magic. For the omni-staff, 97 in both rc and magic, and you must take the staff to each altar and it requires 250 runes. Alsom the people will charge you 50x the currency than a regular staff. Which means 20k Gop tokens, 50k FoG tokens, and 10M cash. After all, it is very powerful. ;) When you die with one of the staves, they will wear out and require "recharging". To recharge a staff, take it to the respective altar with 50 of the runes and use the staff on the altar. Alternatively you can take it to Aubery, Wizard Elriss, orFiara and pay them whatever you paid them when you had them enhant your staff originally. This will save you a trek top the altar. Omni-staff will also wear out every 5k spell casts. 8.) Give a few member's gathering abilities to F2P The RuneScape economy is in bad shape, especially raw materials. I propose that F2P should be allowed to collect some materials, but NOT be able to use them. This would give F2P another source of income and would mean P2P has cheaper resources. The resources F2P would be able to collect are: Dragon bones Use sawmill Herb drops Tan hides Seed drops Herblore and summoning secondaries Pure essence Etc All the items F2P receive should be member's items that are in F2p area, such as snape grass on Crafting peninsula, or dragons in the wilderness. Also, please remember F2P will not be able to use these, only to be able to collect them. 9.) Give F2P chaos altar, and make chaos runes craftable with normal essence. Yea. 10.) Multiple ores per rock Wc has multiple logs per tree and fishing multiple fish per spot, so why does mining still only have 1 ore per rock? 11.) Bring back Thrander Thrander was a guy in RSC that changed armour from male to female types. What I propose is that we bring him back. However, he cannot change armour on the bronze-dragon spectrum. Rather, his purpose would be to modify armour that only has a leg/skirt variety right now, such as barrows, bandos, armadyl, or 3A. 12.) Summoning familiars change When I right-click a stack of familiars, please only show interaction options for my own... Also, give familiars with a teleporting ability a right-click teleport option. 13.) Change onyx price back to 270k tokkul Or 500k at most, onyx items are insanely expensive right now. (Not a personal thing since I bought my fury when they were 2M.) 14.) Solution to price manipulation clans Group price manipulation should be against the rules. Being caught price manipulating 4 times would reseult in a ban. Also, leading a price manipulation clan would also result in a ban. This should get rid of at least 75% of all price manipulation clans. I will be adding more in the future.
