  1. Dat harmony postin'.
  2. The Tavern: Where we discuss everything. Even designing our own firearms. I've been working on a mental design for an air-compression gun made out of pipe tubing. Sadly, I own neither an air compressor nor tubing nor any of the valves and bits that I would need to make it work. And finding something standard to use as ammo would be a pain in the @#$@.
  3. To be frank, the only Tavernites I know who do that sort of thing would be Dusty and maybe Spork. The rest of us are way underage, or, in Archi's case, are too cool for that.
  4. King_Stork. I play TF2 free, though. I can has cheap.
  5. I tried that. Nothing happened. Also, speeding up time by a billion times for a second would probably have killed me. If you guys are on about cursed planet, it was because your powers were in the overpowered section and thus you were weakling at the start but grew into probably the strongest of the group by the end, if you stuck it out. So... since the game is over, mind telling us what we would have been able to do had it lasted longer and we not died?

  7. I am Stork. I'm not currently playing or GMing anything right now, but I prefer playing simpler games where you control a single character rather than army-based games. Also, I don't download much unless it's free and I am very very very sure that it's not malware, so I tend not to play any games that use Maptool. I carry a shovel named "What the hell, guys?" I use it occasionally to bury bad topics and discussions that have gone far too meta or far too off-topic.
  8. That, and the rewards for anything were few, far between, and pretty damn useless. I mean, there was the subquest with the guy and his life-plant... in which I got a vial of life-sap that didn't do much in exchange for my pet rabbit. So we all were in search of nice shinies, and the only way we knew of to get the nice shinies was to kill stuff until we found some. Or until Auran turned traitor, kidnapped Tim, and screwed with us for the rest of the game.... ....Which leads me to the one other beef I had with that game - the powers weren't balanced. I was a chronomancer who could do pretty much nothing but slow people down or speed them up (which didn't seem to have much effect, by the way), while Auran managed to make armies of goons that he literally took out a town with.
  9. Think he means Cursed Planet, where pretty much every town we went to ended up in ruins for one reason or another.
  10. Wait a m..... OH MY GOD GOON IS BACK
  11. Pretty much what all of us do. One of the reasons Dungeoneering was so successful is that players came up with 99% of the bullcrap, the mod just responded. That and the mod didn't get tired of the concentrated bullcrap until... what, a year after it started?
  12. Don't we all? :shades: Yes, but that is pretty much literally all I do. Tiny amounts of preplanning to make sure I don't have plotholes, then random bullcrap for however long the session lasts. It gets old after a while. Although I might revive Tavern the RTD, but put in a player-number restriction so I don't end up waiting for someone to post.
  13. That was beautiful. Especially liked the PM guy trying to buy claws for 10m.
  14. Vinegar? Sunburn? WUT Seriously, we just went over to a pharmacy and asked what would make it suck less. Got an off-the-shelf aerosol thing, and so far, it works.
  15. I am sunburnt. It's probably going to hurt like hell tomorrow.
  16. So much arguing about arguing about (arguing about?) games, so few games. I would start one, but mine all inevitably die for one reason or another. Probably because I have a tendency to make [cabbage] up as I go along...
  17. Really, Nex, I think this thread is long enough that it would be at least a +3, if not +5.
  18. I'm hoping it's 1 because it would mean that they have a bit more intelligence, but it's probably 3.
  19. Yeah, Scape's been devoured by the botting horde. And Jagex seems to be doing.... not much to stop it. This seems oddly familiar... Because it's the same thing I've been posting if and when I post in the upper forums, yeah, I know. I'm annoyed by it enough to post about it here, but not annoyed enough to brave the craphive that is the RSOF so that Jagex might, by a sliver of a chance, actually notice and care. Yet.
  20. This. It actually flies straight, too. Not for very long, but it flies straight.

  22. Hey Halo. Guess what.
  23. Halo, the main thing I see wrong with that game is how you change the steps that bits of the rocket activate/fall off. Because if, for example, you wanted to make a big damn rocket that fired about 50 interconnected boosters at once, then you'd have to move all the booster commands to the same step, and all the severance commands to after that. Which, when you're dealing with 20+ commands and 10+ steps, is a pain in the ass.
  24. Halo, that game is actually giving me tablet lag because I'm trying to draw while my crew falls to their death after a successful 500k+ flight.
