Any thoughts on ironman? Depending on how it's implemented, I might start again if it's good.- 1469 replies

Had a pretty awesome and boring weekend. Friday and today were great. On Friday, I went to my first EDM-type concert (Porter Robinson). It was pretty awesome. Although, the stadium we were at didn't accept vertical liscenses for ID (Wisconsin...) so one of us couldn't get any alcohol and we didn't drink. Was fun anyways. Saturday and Sunday sucked. Boring, lots of plans cancelled, nothing to do. Got to go to PAX today from a free badge from a friend. Played some games, watched the league of legends national championship, saw some cool stuff. Now back to work. Pretty nervous for tue-wed, we have a big project that I have to present my work on after only being on the team for a month, and i'm still waiting on other people for some info I need :ohnoes: Since we're starting this war again :p It'll go to 0ms/1g down/1g up on not busy times

At Target today, I spent like $60 on groceries. Right after I finished the transaction and my receipt came out, the lady said "Oh crap, how much did you spend?" and I told her 60. She said "Let me see your receipt." I had no idea what was going on, but she took it, refunded it, rescanned it and something else, and then gave me back my receipt and a $10 bill. She said someone left behind a spend 50+, get 10 off coupon that she let me use :)

God I cannot wait until I move there next year. Sucks, dude. I have no toenails on either big toe now because of that, I highly recommend it if it keeps happening to you. One they just went in and took the root out, after the initial attempt on the other toe took three or four tries with increasingly strong acid (strong enough that it had to get mixed at the hospital and kept in a glass bottle) that I said screw it, just cut it out. Fun fact to share though. Hopefully won't go that route unless need be. It sucks for me because I am diabetic and any infect that sets up in my feet really sucks. Have to limit those as much as possible. In other news just got off at work and I'm enjoying a Angry orchard Hard Cider. Not my favorite beer...but it is my favorite cider, a lot better then Red's apple ale. Worked six straight and I deserve a couple drinks :) The guinea pig I was going to get will be named Sophie (all the guinea pigs they sale are girls) based off the movie Howls Moving Castle. I find it funny that most of post now and days are super easy going. I guess that also makes me fairly invisible on the forums. Ah well \o/! Make sure you live somewhere with CondoInternet service, it's gigabit internet and only 80/mo for it. Great customer service too. Also, try the Angry Orchard Elder Apple or something. It's pretty different, but really good.

Getting settled into my new apartment. It's really awesome, except the person before me smoked in the bathroom so it smells like cigarettes, even though it says no smoking in the lease. Here's a few pictures of the view... The mountain is Rainer, and you can see it in the far left of the panorama (make sure you click to view it larger). It's a little cloudy, because it's Seattle. [hide] [/hide] My car and stuff is being shipped from Minneapolis, but they're both 2 weeks late so far. So, I've been sleeping on an air mattress in an empty apartment with three pairs of clothes for two weeks :(

That would be awesome! Definitely hit me up if you get one. Let me know if you need any tips :) Gabe, be careful haha. Any chance they'll move the trip around? Tim, if something happens, just remember how far you've come now, as it seems like you're doing better than you used to.

On my phone and can't multiquote - Steve - right on the edge of first hill and Capitol Hill, close to downtown Gabe - we didn't know where she was living next year and if they'd have cats, plus I'd be alone where she'd have roommates Rpg - literally :p I'm only on the fourth floor though, there was a room on the 14th floor but it was 1800 a month. I'll just be on the roof a lot! Tim - me too! Been waiting to move to seattle for four years... Hopefully your college stuff works out too I'll post a panorama when I move in, on the 12th or 13th

Over the past few days, I've moved from Minneapolis to Seattle and have been looking for apartments. The move was pretty traumatizing for my cat, with car/plane/bus/tram rides, but she's doing much better. I've found an apartment downtown that is 1315 (which is cheap for seattle) per month, with 200 per month parking. It's pretty insane, coming from my 350 per month apartment before. Probably going to sign the lease on Monday. There's a rooftop garden/grill/dining area, where you can see Mt Rainier, the Olympics, Space Needle, Downtown, and Pugent Sound which is really awesome.

Thanks, but I wouldn't say I'm a regular :p I'll try to post more! To add to the interesting-ness, yesterday I just got back from my 35 day trip backpacking through Europe, seeing 12 countries. Today sucks pretty bad though, as my grandpa died while I was in Europe and the funeral was today, but I couldn't make it because I had to be in Minneapolis to pack all of my stuff to leave my friends forever...
