  5. you open your map it looks like this and it shows you where the ht is then you count the squares it is from the edges or put the ht spot approximately same place on the keying tool

Deadnbloody did alright answering in cc and was capable of making a gate in a floor I did with them I do agree that often people don't read the guidelines before trying to join but some people just get confused or forget things I suppose @ fire, they're both 8x8.. so I don't know what you're asking apparently if you take a pic of both as an example maybe people would understand
  7. What are your ammo bind/ring setting? Berserker/Gatherer/Blazer all tier 5 and death runes. Please upgrade your Berserker ring according to the guidelines (tier 6+ at level 80-89 dng) And bind a celestial surgebox as soon as you find one You can join the cc, people will ask you if you've read the guidelines so make sure you have. Host floors if you key or wait for someone to host.
  8. Not important. It's pretty much perfect, IMO. Yeah, the key locations are the only thing you really need for mapping, people tend to be able to remember their gated pot doors (and they're easily noticable in chat). The gold shield thing is good. If the key is never actually used it could be subsituted for a home symbol, but that isn't really neccesary if people know gsh=home anyway gos

  11. Thing is, a lot of people would be perfectly content to have a hex but be permbanned from dgs. So for some people the thought of not being able to use dgs isn't enough of a deterrent. So you think it would be easier to first convince jagex on this subject(remember, anything we think isn't the absolute truth, most of what matters is jegex'es opinion, and they might not agree), and then letting them try and fix this? The fact is, when you are in a floor, you can command people who don't have 99 slayer to gtfo that room, and if they don't, they would be kicked off the team and have future implications in participating in dgs dungeons, just for not leaving the soulgazer room. In my experience this does work, the only problem is with non-ranks being unable to kick mid floor. On the floors I've seen with soulgazer, we had a ranked keyer so the threat was realistic, that won't always be the case however. Also, the person with the slayer level can simply refuse to kill it until the non slayers leave. If someone snipes a hex you can kick them. Or if they camp under it and refuse to leave without being able to damage it.
  12. The healing titans heal 1.5x per hour as the bunyip does, assuming you use the scrolls as often as possible. The healing titan is more useful in multicombat because you can use it both as your healing familiar and as a combat familiar. However, you often do not need that much healing, and may want to consider an alternative healing source along with a better combat familiar. Mostly applies to people with ss. Bunyip is generally used in single combat because it heals enough per hour to survive. You can also consider using a BoB to hold supplies with alternative healing source(s), so you can bring items like spec restores once availiable to you.

I did notice you are 94/95 mage, but overload boosts your magic to 101/94 mage, however, that means you cannot brew during rex, which is generally not needed, but can be a little annoying occasionally. 94 is close to 95 anyway, so you shouldn't have to deal with it too long. Yes arcane stream is worth it. You could bring earth runes too if you can't make it work. @ Wkw, do not use ice barrage for efficiency. You may use it to make dag kings easier at first, but it is about -700k gp/h or something, which is not needed. About the cannon spawn point - it depends on what you want your cannon to hit. I set my cannon up W / N W / S W of prime's spawn point. This way it shoots at prime within a couple cannonballs and hits supreme to speed up his death. My cannon is never loaded when finishing off rex anyway. If ice barraging you probably want to do the opposite, and kill prime while killing rex so you can range pray during supreme. However, ice barrage is still too expensive to be worth it.
  14. Bring 100+ purple sweets as a pure. 200+ is probably needed. Yes they are expensive. Yes they are worth it as a pure. Also, you should be bringing more than 6 brews. Inventory depends on stats. Luring techniques mostly involve letting 1 monster go past italy rock and then trapping the rest behind it. It partially relies on good spawns. So you have to time how long it takes for 1 monster to be allowed through. You do this while in range of the monsters so you can time it, then using that timing you can do it while out of range of the monsters (although the 360s and 90s have very long range, so you will likely be hit a couple times while luring.)
  15. Once you have maxed gear and levels you really do not need the healing from uni, assuming you cannon prime, which you should because it means more profit/h and saves a lot of supplies. Yak on it's own cannot bank all bones + hides, so yes, fremmy boots are obviously worth it. It has some steep requirements though. I usually get all bones and about 70% of hides (at the end of the trip my yak has 30 hides in it which helps). The only reason to bring uni is for after yak supplies run out. But that means your inventory will be very strained with overloads etc. And would not let you survive much longer, but you may wish to try it out. I have no idea why you think you shouldn't use yak.

  17. Tokens should be spent on getting your highest possible berserker ring tier. Do pengs + lamps on dng. Each time you unlock a new resource dng visit it for 1 time worthwhile xp. Do floors 1-11 c1, your last 5 c6 med and the rest c6 small. I suggest this because each theme is different, and learning to do frozen theme well is a waste of time. Abandoned 1 (12-17) have most of the same bosses for abandoned 2 (30-35), as well as the same monsters. Furnished (18-29) will be mostly useless later but has some interesting bosses at least.
  18. Replace chaotic kiteshield with dfs, chaotic staff with sol, ccbow with rune crossbow. Put 1 superantipoison++ in the yak in place of a super restore 2nd row, and take 1 extra super prayer in inventory. Can do the same with the yak pouch. Replace runes with fire surge runes, taking out rune thrownaxes. Yak should have first 3 items as brews, but same amount of potions overall. This setup works very nicely at your stats, once you get turm you can stay about 7 overloads instead. D claws are only at option once you have soulsplit. You enter, kill supreme with chaotic rapier + piety + overloads, then setup cannon at prime's respawn point and loot, then go safespot mage rex, then back to meleeing supreme and let your cannon kill prime. If prime has wandered far from it's spawn point you may want to range it to death with eagle eye + rune crossbow or setup your cannon to where it has wandered temporarily. You can time prime's death to let you range pray on supreme if you wish, but you don't have to always, especially after getting food drops. Get turmoil asap though, even if you have to welfare a bit, since soulsplit helps a huge amount at dag kings, easily healing back up each rex kill since prime is usually killed by the cannon after each supreme kill.

I tried skilling in f2p and the only things I could do was firemake w/o barb horn or fly fish dropping fish with the touchpad... so I gave up. back to dnging late sunday/early monday - shud preorder slaves

It should be worth noting that Dragon Dagger spec hits twice, so for places where each hit is raised (kuradel's dungeon non-0 hits +40, barbarian assault +50, etc) it is still probably superior to a regular chaotic rapier hit. But claws or korasi's sword in non multi-combat areas are better alternatives. As for pking, the average spec of dds will apparently be lower, but it has much higher ko potential, which is important for pking.
  21. Better things to do than find logs and craft a staff for 286 instead of 280 max. @ xpx, yes, there are cases where making an emp fire staff is worth it. I'd just rather people not consider it a necessity in the floor, and to be active in opening doors or important skilling before emp fires. Like ragers in warped or farming. If people are slow to exploring another path (when I say fork) or gtgd then the skilling bonuses aren't worth it. I've found that floors are usually faster when the group is all exploring the same path when it's 1 way. I guess because people get to gds faster and obviously some puzzles can be done faster as a team. So while I do think there is a bit of room to skill to benefit the floor, it's very little and magic is not particularly important. I think I said somewhere that emp fires should only really be made on warped.
  22. Should work towards empowered fire, though. The 10% really helps and entgallow trees are everywhere. Blood spindle branches cost 1650 gp, which makes a fire staff. Also making an emp fire is often a waste of time for not much of an increase in damage.
