  1. Thanks for all the information, but I know about logout-log in, disease, timing herb runs, and that. I have never had problems before. About luck, it isn't just luck. Assuming cycles, you can easily time herb runs (trees are a bit harder but still doable). And they advance a thick every 20minutes. I planted them between 13-10 and 13-15. Did hundred of herb runs so far and never had this problem. Most of my 99 exp is from herbs, so I'm used to the 1-3 minutes delays, and this kind of delay doesn't make sense. Besides, other people are reporting the same, and we're talking about people that are deeply knowledge of ticks, not lvl40 farmers. Since I started timing ticks I've never had this problem before, seems a bit weird that several people are reporting it now. When I have time I'll keep testing.
  2. I've recently noticed that for the first time ever, my herbs cycles were messed. Now, assuming that they advantage in a 20 minutes clock (and yes, taking into account the 1-3 minutes delays) this was the situation: - (1troljheim was ready, 2ecto 3catherby werent, 4ardy 5draynor were ready). Now, this was at at 14:47. The herbs should be ready at 14:40, or at 15:00 (once again, assuming the 1-3 minutes delay). Even taking into account the effect of disease on cycles, I found it weird. Asked a friend and she said that "A graphical update to trees managed to entirely stink farming. Farm cycles are now rarely reliable". Has anyone experienced this? I'll keep testing this to check if there has been indeed a change
  3. I already bought 1k torstols, so my bank atm is bit a low. I can farm 750 herbs until the next double exp week (assuming it's around middle of march ofc). What herb has usually the highest price flutuation (no snapdragon/torstol) before double xp weekend? - Sara brew seems very viable for herblore exp, since the gp/xp is much lower than norma, making toadflax somewhat a viable option. - Ranarr presents more farming profit than toadflax, but is a very low exp potion so not very likely to be used for double exp i'd assume. - Avantoes/dwarf weed present a lower farming profit (notice we're talking about buying seeds now), but extreme pots are the way to go for many players during weekend. The deal is that graphs shown by G.E. site don't match expectations. I'm also considering toadflax due the increased profit from scroll of cleansing + unf pots. Thoughts?
  4. This is just stupid. You played for years? Then what did you do before effigies were implemented? Gotta love people whinning about every update. You can have your own opinion, but dramatizing over things that aren't ruined is just silly. If you can't train a skill training the skill, then don't do it.
  5. I like this update. Many players who got 99 rc feel like they were being joked at since a person could just go and kill glacors. Twice the fun, twice the profit, twice the exp. One thing is getting through slayer: yes I like that idea, but the fact that you make them even better than actually training the skill. And don't say it's still runecrafting, you're not doing anything about runecrafting to get xp on it. But tbh, I blame jagex on this. They should have been more careful when they implemented them, especially since they offer way high xp rewards (if you don't assist). But this was getting out of hand, people thinking that effigying a skill was legit. Guess what, it is, but it ruins the spirit of the game and only promotes more and more pvm. So yes, good job jagex.
  6. Indeed. One thing is slaying 3k monsters to get 99 rc. Another thing is leave runescape open and click on it every once in a while and get 99 rc. It's like ivy, but for any skill lol.
  7. Thanks, I guess I'll start youtubing to get an idea and get a spot in those teams you mention. Seems pretty much w117 dung so shouldn't be that hard. Cheers for the quick reply :)
  8. What's the best cc (if there is any) available for horn charging ONLY (means no need to keep swapping roles). The ones I checked (BA sweepers and Horn Hunters) don't seem to exist anymore. Also, how complex is the game? I keep hearing people talking like it's quite an intense mini-game, with loads of strategies in order to reach the 3.5-4hours horn charging. Is there any place (or videos) which can give me a clear idea?
  9. Thanks for the quick answer. Gonna try void + mage's book and sol + asn/ardy cape/inf boots and see how it goes If I wanted to craft my own arma runes, how many ess can I dispatch per hour? Nvm, I'd loose cash :P
  10. 1. I'm sitting at 93 rc with 220k pure essence. Although I love the skill, all I hear is glacors > double nats by far. But with 95 mage + 30m for gear/setup, can I still make a larger profit with glacors? Also, is using SoA a very large drop on profit? I do have overloads, but was planning to get 99 rc by making a nice chunk of profit, and I hear people talking about 3-4m per hour with 99 mage + virtus (all I have is void :P) 2. Mining: I recently got 80 and stocked up on natures to mine + superheat. Should I low alch as well, or just drop? Drop sounds a lot more effort, but in videos people seem to mine faster than they can superheat+alch 3. Is c2 fishing nerfed (under 90 fish)? I'm getting around 70k exp per hour at barb fishing with low alch and rather make a loss if the c2 fishing exp is not that better.
  11. Decorated cooking urns are around 61k exp per hour, almost unnoticeable loss. This is using a tortoise, otherwise the exp is around 5k less. Doing the best exp sapphire item is around 60-70k exp an hour. You used to break/make a small profit, but now you loose 1gp/xp. They are still the best jewelery when compared to ruby/emerald items (since they're 2 to 4 to 6 gp/xp and only around 10-15k more exp per hour).
  12. really, farming is the best consistent choice, especially if you play several hours a day. It's probably the only non-combat method that makes decent cash, everything else was screwed by bots.
  13. I'm guessing it would work the same way as prayer, meaning it wouldn't work.
  14. You could search the page, there's a topic exactly like this some lines under yours.....
  15. I'm sorry, what you mean how many buckets filled in one hour? Assuming 75 supercompost per 2 herb runs (roughly, 75 per 2 hours), I just need to know if it's possible to "fit" the 2 bankings + the filling the bin + filling buckets, etc, in the time of juju farming dose :ohnoes:
  16. I was making some maths, and it's around 70k profit extra per trip if you make supercompost. Besides, pungent vines don't require more than 1 space. Problem is the buckets. They would slow me down a lot, since leprechaun can only hold 31, making me basically re-bank every 2 patches. Is there any way to "go around" this mechanic of buckets? Would using a BoB (tortoise at tops) worth it?
  17. This. If played properly at same lvls, duel arena is just another method of gambling.
  18. Decided I will farm my own dragon pickaxe, wether it takes a day or a week. - I got rapier + turmoil + extremes/overloads + 500 super prayer pots banked + unicorn. Supplies are not a problem - Will not use a cannon What should I be killing? I've seen some people saying that I should go for the big guys for 20minutes until the other go unagressiv and then kill those? Should I approach with a prayer setup? Never tried the area so a bit clueless on how to achieve maximum kills p/h :P
  19. At 78 hunter, assuming all boosts, what would be the most pratical way to get 99 while striking for juju farming potions? I've heard carrion were the best ones, but also seen some players reporting that common jadinkos are slower experience but a better income of herb seeds  So should I go for commons until a certain lvl and then switch to carrions, or another option? Also, I'm assuming I will end up with free stackable supercompost ingredients for the rest of the year?
  20. It actually looks pretty fast then, can't really complain since it will save me from getting 85 combat :P Didn't know either about the slayer ring assist, thanks a lot :)
  21. Need something to do till double astrals, and since I already did zmi 75-93 in the account I quitted playing, I'm looking for the most profit per xp. Thanks, guess I'll need to raise some hp and use abyss. I think I will try this, been looking for some video that shows me the exact route so I could have a hint of the time difference between it and trolljheim teleport, but so far no luck :wall: edit: is this the path?
  22. Armoured zombies are a good afkable option, and the troll mini game is quite good experience if you have d claws.
  23. Problem about 1. is the fight. The monster wasn't faceroll on my 90s melees account :P (unless I did something wrong)
  24. One thing you can do is smelt it with both furnace and superheat, and then make sapphire bracelets out of it (around 60k craft exp per hour), and then sell after gaining loads of exp and making a slightly loss :)
  25. My intention is remaining as low combat as possible (and avoid training range perhaps). I need trollhjeim teleport for herb runs. I seem to have 3 options: 1. Complete all the quests including Love story, and make tabs (this is the one I most wanted). Issue: the fight seems pretty hard for someone with 50-60 hp and using magic as combat style. 2. Get 85 combat and do Dream Mentor, which will allow me to use spellbook swap Issue: 85 combat seems to high for me 0o 3. Pray for jagex to introduce trollhjheim teleport as usable in lunars, since they're adding new spells in this month's update. I will naturally wait for the update, but incase the spell isn't added, don't really know If I can avoid option 2 :x edit/ps: and any1 got experience rates of cosmic runes not using abyss, or abyss is for sure faster :o?
