exactly. people somehow get it in their heads that combat is very closely related to all other skills. the only difference between a lvl 3 with 99 woodcutting and a lvl 138 with 99 woodcutting is that the lvl 138 won't die from a wizard...

I'm going for 99 smithing. I'm pure f2p, and yes, I'm buying all my supplies. I've been playing for 4-5 years, and I just decided to go for 99 smithing (my first 99) this past February...And, to my satisfaction, I am not going for this just for the skillcape. I was just training it when it was level 51 and decided I liked it and wanted to get 99 in it. Although, I may get a skillcape after I get it... But I do agree that skillcapes ruined a lot of 99 skills. It sort of sucks. But runescape is filled with many people that ruin the game...

at first I thought this was going to be some noob post against them (: but yes, i hate seeing "noob stop running" if they want duel arena, lumby tele is free, go there...
