There wouldn't be a problem if I could just get a better team... Or I can just solo. Gonna wait to see what the best ways to get EXP are. My friend is level 40 something, and he said he's basically getting one level per dungeon, so the EXP rates do increase.

Well, I had plenty of food, but after the first two deaths, I was just out of everything. I didn't know the eating thing was gonna be a problem if I just ran in without attacking it. That's why I'm asking if there's another way.

You don't die. That can't seriously be the only way...[/hide] You reset prestige on the party forming interface. And the other way is to play with more people. With 3 people there are only two carcasses still, so there's some flexibility. But I like my solution better. And er... whoever answered "make a gatestone," how does that solve the problem at all? The problem is someone needs to stand between the monster and the carcass, a way of escaping that's not dying doesn't help. >.< Any more than two people, and the dungeon takes ages to complete... No it doesn't? We were going through fairly quickly, if you don't count Shorty's tendency to go "OMGSTEGGYTHINGY" every time we met one of those trappable things, and spend 5 minutes catching it. Besides, I prefer long dungeons. You get more time to build up your equipment, and you get much more experience to compensate. @3pointman If you think you need multiple players for the light obelisk, you're misunderstanding that challenge. You stand on the pressure pad to hold that light still, and you need all 4 lights to hit the center simultaneously. Just adjust them one at a time... Doesn't work when you have level 100's as your partners... Being level 138, the monsters are still really difficult with a group of weak people, but they never do any damage, so it never helps... A lot of my higher level friends are level like 30 something Dung, so that wont do me any good, either, lol.

Your criticism is extremely thought provoking.

No, that's what we've been doing, but if either of us dies and tries to run back in, the thing eats to full HP again. WTF is up with that? Edit: Thanks, killer. Sounds good.

How do you kill the thing that eats in a duo... My friend and I were trying to kill it, and the thing *always* started eating again when I ran back in after dieing... I just logged out after 7 deaths. We had no problem doing a lot of damage while we were still alive, as we were standing in front of the food, but when either of us died and ran back inside, it would start eating again. None of us attacked it as we ran back inside. ... Annoying. Also, if you solo, are you given puzzles/monsters that require more than one person to kill/complete? Let's say I'm soloing. Would I have to fight the Gluttonous thing by chance? Edit: Another thing. How do you "reset" prestige (as in locking it in place once I get a good level)?

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Message comes up if you try to join your own party when you log out in the middle of a dungeon. Lol.

A lot of the rewards greatly help other skills. The new mage ammy gives +15% mage damage bonus, which is amazing. I only hope this stacks with current staffs and slayer gear. You can also get bags that store coal/gems and scrolls that help with farming. Also, read mod MMG's quote. There's going to be more additions to this skill, like summoning batch 2, so expect more rewards.

I'm pretty sure it's 1/10 of normal runecrafting exp. Deffenetly worth selling alll your swag and runecrafting at the end of a dungeon then! ... Lame... I knew Jagex would keep RC horribly difficult to train... There's hope, though, lol. If you can get like 1M gp in a round, you could potentially buy a [cabbage] load of RC EXP. However, I don't how much money you can loot from monsters past level 4... -.-

Exactly what I was thinking :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Hopefully the EXP carries outside of the dungeon. Can anyone clarify this? On my itouch right now...

:D I was hoping Jagex had an expansion planned, like they did with Summoning.

If by that you mean "do you get experience in other skills inside the dungeon", then yes, you do. My question is, is it normal experience for other skills or is it less? Because, if so, this could be a fun new way to train.. I sure was having fun. Well, what I meant was does that EXP stay with you outside the dungeon. Also, I'm pretty sure it's less EXP than normal. I hit a 200 something with melee, and I didn't get that much EXP on the counter thing, but I don't know entirely, as I didn't keep track.

Do you seriously get EXP in other skills outside of the dungeons? Would be pretty awesome if you could. My head's hurting too much to check...

I agree. As of right now, this skill is stupid. Rewards are good at level 80 and it's very fun to play, but the skill continues on to level 120. There has to be a second update to this skill, and I can only hope that Jagex is waiting to release it based on our reactions to the first part.

Soloing is really getting on my nerves, lol. Takes like 10 minutes to complete one level. Then again, I have no idea what to do, lol. I tried summoning stuff... but apparently I need shards, which I don't know how to get. Also, why aren't things labeled on the mini map? I don't really feel like hovering my mouse over the entire room to find out where the mining places are. I was like, ok... Where do I mine... Spent about 2 minutes looking for some rocks.

A skill that introduces a new way to train? Blasphemy. Take me back to the good ol' days where I have to spend 20 hours and 170M to get a 99.

Yeah 138 isn't actually so great if you consider bandos and other gear actually makes us level 200-300ish. Seriously, they should allow us to take our own gear. Let the other garbage be for the people who need it. Or of course for higher levels when we actually get tier 9-11 stuff. Well, lol, I have really high skills, so I was also like "God damn. Level 4 complexity is gonna be cake." So I go around, just killing monsters with a longsword and soul split to heal. The boss caught me off guard, since the boss beforehand died in like 15 seconds. Didn't know we needed more than one attack style... Good to know, though.

Lol, lame. I was like "I'm level 138. I got this [cabbage]." Go over to the boss monster that freezes and prays melee. I look in my inven, and all I have is 3 weird pieces of food that heal like 100 LP and a Katagon Longsword. I cried. Shortly thereafter, I died.

The "moral of the story" is that you're a fool. Stop pasting idiotic images of birds and try actually thinking about things, and you'll realize that with the prices Jagex has set on these items, they are going to take insane amounts of time and effort to acquire. This skill already does not appear to be particularly fast, and all of the rewards require very large amounts of XP. Plus, once you use up your tokens, that's it -- you get no other benefit from this skill at all. I bet you also can't trade them back, so you could spend 100 hours to get a shield and then you're stuck with it -- want a different shield? That'll be another 100 hours, please. Awesome. I've never had someone tell me I was a fool, only to then go about making foolish comments. You're my first, Qeltar. I'll quote you. Really now? I find it extremely difficult to believe that the skill is taking a while to train. Surely, going at 4 exp/bone at level 1 prayer is also fairly slow. We should have an argument as to why prayer is too slow. I'm going to assume (foolishly, to no extent), that you know the exp rates past level 50, assuming that you're ranked number 1 and have a clear understanding of how you level up/buy items. Alright. So, let's see: we're all low leveled, so it's taking a while to level up and gain tokens; Exp rates suck, I have like 10 tokens, and the weapon I want is ridiculously expensive. Now, taking that, I'm going to make the not-so-rash and purely logical assumption that it'll take me 80k+ hours to get the level I need to buy my rape weapon. Also, I'll assume that the EXP rates/level is purely horizontal and that EXP rates never increase. Ever. lolwutnow?

How do you enter a game on your own...? I hate joining level 100's with 1500 total...

You mean the usual, EXTREMELY useful stuff firemaking does already? -.- Edit: @ Qeltar: So, taking your comment into perspective, do you know how quickly and/or easily tokens are acquired? Please, share with us. [/sarcasticlook] 1 token per 10xp, kthxbai Then you also must know how quickly EXP can be gained once you hit level 80... Elaborate. Edit: Moral of the story --
