That's not the reason suiciding is illegal though... Probably not. But I was demonstrating how suicide isn't just something you do to your own body, it goes further than that. I still find drug-consumption, suiciding, and abortion as acts that should be perfectly legal. Now that I know you're hot... I don't know how to respond to you... ... Go make me a sammich. Heh There's an obvious reason why drugs aren't legal (suicide is legal, btw). The government is in place to protect the well being of the people, and, as I'm sure you know, drugs aren't exactly good. If drugs weren't illegal (Pot excluded, as it's not very harmful), you'd see the same thing going on with Cocaine as it is with Cigarettes. Little kids would be lured in my advertising to do Cocaine and Meth, and, instead of getting addicted for 40+ years, they'd be addicted for like 5. If a 30-year-old can do Cocaine, there's no logical way to stop said 30-year-old to sell his drugs to a middle schooler for a couple bucks. I do agree that abortion should still be legal, though. I still think of it as an economic thing as opposed to a moral thing because there're conflicting ethical issues on each side, both of which I half-heartedly support. I posted some stuff a page back on my ideas. In most countries, suiciding is illegal. If the authorities suspect you're about to commit suicide, you will more than likely be hospitalized by force. Ofcourse, in most cases they're way too late... which could possibly explain why many don't know suiciding is illegal. That, and the fact that no one would sue or imprison anyone else if they had suicided, and if they were caught beforehand, they'd be hospitalized, not imprisoned. As for drugs. Why not? It's my body, and as a person in a free society, I'm deserving the right to decide for myself. Suicide used to be illegal in the US, but it was repealed a few decades ago. I think there's like two states left that still haven't made a decision, but it's accepted that it's still legal. As for the drugs thing, sure, it's your body, but, in a capitalistic society, people will take advantage of the fact that they can get kids hooked on extremely fatal drugs, so there are bigger consequences to that decision. @Qeltar: Prohibition increased crimes, didn't work, and was overall a bad idea, I'll agree, but the drugs that are illegal (Marijuana excluded) are illegal for a reason. They might be major contributors to crime, but if they weren't, kids would be lured in by people and/or companies to buy those drugs, thus getting hooked. I don't agree that we can afford to pay such a price for a free society. Also, Pharmaceutical companies happen to be safe. I wont argue with you on your comment against them (Links for proof?), but it's not like they're giving out free Meth to little kids across the streets.

  8. You would think even player moderators would have some class... he's a player.. of a game.. on the internet.. oh yeah he's DEFINITELY god. I think he was referring to the fact that Mods can bypass game filters, which is really god damn annoying in populated areas...
  9. Off the streets. I was a thug back in the day. Kickin' [wagon] and takin' names, son.

My pish posh Hitler comment was all in good humor yet was still relevant as if reason defines a "full" person then mentally handicap people would never be people, and as everyone knows a large practitioner of the implementing of Social Darwinism was Adolf Hitler. I meant when I was speaking about my choice, why the law would restrict my ability to make such a choice when clearly it would just be an extension of the same mindset. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law I personally support abortion, mainly because I do (somewhat surprisingly, I might add). I don't see there being any one-sided discussion for or against abortion just because it's just one of those things that has no one side. I like to think of abortion on a purely economical perspective. About 15 years or so after Roe vs. Wade, the crime rates all over the US plummeted, even though rates were sky rocketing before the verdict passed. There're literally no other ways to account for the drop in crime other than attributing it to the legalization of abortion. One would assume that, after legalizing abortion, all those aborted babies that wouldn't have been aborted probably would've went into a life of crime, which makes perfect sense. Abortion isn't a light topic, and people don't just go about killing off random babies for fun (heh... dead baby jokes...), so it's almost always done in very rare circumstances, a few being that the mother is probably single, poor, or unable to fend for her child. I'd assume that everyone here can imagine what would happen to the baby in these circumstances. A life of crime isn't a big logical step, and having a tormented childhood also probably doesn't help with growing up in society as a stable adult. Considering this, I'd say it's entirely ethical to legalize abortion. Even though the initial act of killing a fetus might be "overwhelming" to say the least, I don't see how it's any less ethical to give birth to a child that will only end up going into a life of crime. Of course, life is important, and, given the choice, I'd choose a life of crime over no life any day, but that's where the big picture comes in. I certainly don't want go about everyday knowing that the crime rate will only up as the population increases in size and more babies are born into the streets, and I doubt anyone else would, either. If anything, I support abortion just so that there's less crime in the world. Also, increasing sex-ed wont do [cabbage]. Teenagers are more likely to follow a trend if it's outlawed (go read a study or something), and something as fun as sex isn't going to go away if kids are taught that doing it will make bad things happen. Humans are instinctively prone to have sex all the damn time, and that's not going to stop. Forcing kids to stay celibate until they're married is a fool's folly, and safe sex doesn't work all the time, either. Godwin's Law is true, but my Hitler reference was directly logically linked so it wasn't irrelevant like some people who link anything perceived as "bad" to Hitler. Good job missing the purely comical reference. I have been accused of being an elitist and someone who seeks to preserve the wealth for the wealthy Cool story bruh, but such generalization that a poor person would logically go to a life of crime is so... I can't even articulate it, it is discrediting all the honest poor men and women who struggle to get by. And ironically, Sotomayor is the exact opposite of your generalization, she went from being poor to a Supreme Court Justice, the ultimate court in our country. And for someone like Oprah who raises out of poverty in turn attempts to help others out of poverty. Abortion effectively eliminates people who could have come out of hardship with the understanding of hardship to eliminate hardship. I was, once again, obviously referring to the general populace. It's fairly logical to assume that mass murderers aren't going to turn into Harvard laureates, but basing an entire system around the ones that do is, at best, idiotic. There will obviously be some of those "Harvard" babies in the bunch, but, in general, if you're poor, in the streets, and with no parents, you're going to have to fend for yourself, and i can name at least a few sources of income for said babies; drug dealing being just one. Wisdom is through experience, not a tome.Word of advice, and nothing to do with the argument itself. I'm not being offensive here, but little things like that make you sound extremely pompous. Best to leave random allusions to the philosophical field outside of a logical debate It is different to read about a genocide then to have been directly effected, for example, by the Armenian genocide. One who was effected would have more zeal to eliminate any future repetitions of this genocide, therefore there would be a safeguard against it as opposed to getting ride of poor people so that there are people less incline to understanding poverty and the problem continues.WTF are you saying here...? You randomly went from Oprah Winfrey to Genocide... I don't see the connection... And the parallel of the legalization of abortion to crime rate decreasing could be coincidental, if you ever take a sociology on the 20th century, you will learn that there were a lot of changes in the 70s and that era, which could easily account for the decrease in crime rate. When I said there were literally none, I seriously meant there were literally none. It takes just a second to Google the statistics. Here, I'll do it for you I do find Sex Ed to be rather useless, I will agree with you on that. That however doesn't justify abortion as a means to eliminate an "inconvenience". It does, however, make it a necessity, if you take into account my views on the subject. I'm responding in situ.. because, for some reason, you have a deep hatred for paragraphs... Lol.
  13. I'm assuming you want to team, if so, here it is: (Note, this is for a team of about 6, all pro) Fighter Helm > Nez Helm Fury > All Bandos Top + Bottom = Full Melee Void > Karils > All Barrows Gloves (if not using void) > All Dragon Boots (No Void) > All Zammy Spear > Vesta Spear > All (except Vesta Long + Divine...) Ardy Cape (3) > Fire Cape > SW Cape > Skill Cape > All Inven: Darklight/Stat War Hammer, 2 overloads, 5 brews, 1 super restore, 2-3 p pots (matters which prayer you use), games necklace, pineapple pizzas + sharks (take like 5 pizzas and the rest sharks). Don't take uni, as it'll get eaten up very quickly in a small team. It awesome in FFA, though.

  15. What? The fact that you still use Internet Explorer? ...
  16. Ring of Stone is the worthless one, while uncut/cut/onyx ring are worth a lot street.
  17. Partyhats aren't really involved in a skill though. Unless the new skill is going to be party hat making? It's never been done before in any other game and it doesn't start with a "b". You, sir, are brilliant.
  18. Prayer. Better bonuses, Soul Split (EXTREMELY useful), and slower drain.
  19. Sorry to burst this for you, but there is no "final" helm. :P You have to gather 5 mask pieces to make a mask which gives +1 to all offence and defence stats. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU *cries*
  20. Can someone plawks tell me if there're 5 pieces to the helm from the dungeon?
  21. Does the final helm from the dungeon give +5 atk/def bonuses? If so, this is by far the best helm to use for Corporeal Beast, and it's free. I'm liking this :D
  22. Get multiple people. Don't think it's fun because you make like 500k per GS split? Awwweeee... Too bad. If you want to keep a world with only a few people, get claws and spec restore pots, otherwise people with those items will crash you instead. That's how it works. How the hell is a bunch of high levels storming into the room shouting "L gl kid" "U guys bettr gtfo cuz were gonna own u" "Sad u think u can beat us L" "Were good crashers be prepard 2 cry L" "Ffs u [censor evasion here] nerd were gonna own u next kill" and trying to steal your kills what makes this game fun? Yes, blame that on the fact that instanced dungeons don't exist. The obvious response would be to put them on ignore, but who am I to say that... Once again, if you don't want to get crashed, get all your friends with GS' and make a 10+ man team.
  23. Competition is what makes this game fun... Barrows, Slay, KBD, something, and get strong enough to keep your own world. Instanced dungeons would just be a slap in the face to whoever got all the best gear just so they could Bandos. Also, there are other GWD places to go to, like Zammy, that're basically always empty.
  24. I use whip with fally shield (3) and constant turmoil. Turns out to be around the same p points used overall, but only if I wear monk robe bottoms along with it, which I normally do :P
  25. Please, go ahead. If you have realistic speeds, then I wont disclaim your method, but the person in the video was obviously using software that is against the rules.
