The high experience grind is the bread and butter of this game yet it's been getting easier to gain experience as the years have gone by. They're not about to lower how you gain experience. I'm probably one of the few people that are glad, they're increasing xp rates. I don't understand how effigies would ruin the game, all it does is save a few days on a game that already takes around 200-400 days to max. I understand that effigies ruined Rc, but only ruins Rc because the xp rates for it are ridiculously slow. People complain about skills getting faster, all I see is the ability to max out becoming more realistic for people who can't put in 10+ hr days for a year or two. I will admit, with dicing/staking a lot the moneymaking achievements have greatly diminished. I actually was able get 99 prayer/the cash for 99prayer, faster then I was able to get 99 cooking. I thought that was a little funny. To me GP seems greatly devalued atm, I keep debating whether or not to get 99 Herblore now or before BXPW, because I've done a few 100m+ days dicing and I'm not in a huge cc, just hosting in my cc. Tbh, I'm just waiting for BXPW so I have something to train. The only reason I'd quit if Jagex made this game stupidly easy, or they went back on updates. I find it annoying when people are like omg Jagex return GE to old graphics, we're to nostalgic for advancement. ohya and I hate bots, not enough to make me quit though. P2P holiday items irk me a bit 2, I think holidays shouldn't be about $$$, so Jagex shouldn't make some of the items P2P only. I was also a little upset about the Runefest Flagstaff, but looking back was stupid to get mad over, and now I got myself a nice Katana. I think if Jagex makes game exclusive items a lot more with no ingame stats, it'd be pretty cool. Maybe Australian players could get a boomerang, etc.

I noticed last bxpw that herb materials crashed drastically 1-2 days b4 the weekend, was gonna buy supplies during that time, nothing rose this time around, so already bought supplies for 99 herb. Guess I got lucky this time, makes up for the 2nd bxpw I was F2P for.

I traded kills, if you were to pay someone to die, bodies take around 7hrs in most cases. Playing legit would be hard, because usually a 130+ clan dominating global/theme world. Was that "since" the update yesterday? :unsure: Are they easier to get now? Enquiring minds NEED to know!!! No clue, was trading kills for about 12hrs before the update and prolly 4 after, I was close to the average of 300wins, Some crasher got a body and said about 100 wins. Main reason why I went for gloves/body first, was in case Jagex patched the boosting abilities for these armors.

Saw a post on RSOF that you can now get Vyrewatch as a Slay Task, so not sure if the quest would be worth it for slaying efficiency. I'd say best to see XP rates before doing the quest. I think the blisterwood drops vyrewatch fast though to make them worth it. RSOF QFC: 15-16-130-63160795

Cross-Platform will most likely be the future of gaming, so I think Nintendo/Microsoft/Sony could use Runescape as a Guinea Pig. I'd say that RS should be free (the f2p portion), however I think the other game companies have the right to charge membership for using their networks. So to play f2p rs on the 360, you still need to buy xbox live, but to pay p2p rs you'd have to buy xbox live gold & regular rs fees. Also, I'd have to say if they can make rs accessible like it is on the pc, then the only hacks would be client side, not effecting others or giving you a advantage (except maybe a bigger view). Finally, Jagex could sell in partnership with the 3 big companies. mouses to play via usb/wireless. Perhaps the only hard part would be communicating(typing), but I'm sure ps3/xbox already have mouses/keyboards. No clue about the wii.

Tbh though most high levels get thier cash from dicing/staking/donations, and I wouldn't call those respectable either, ofc using botted money is way worse and should get him a ban. Merching I'd say is respectable if you're not price manipulating but idk if thats even possible now with the free trade ge.

I would say c2 woodcutting is pretty damn fast especially with 5 people. First off, bind a Pimal Hatchet. (makes sure you have floor set to c2 (5-1):1) Make sure you don't have xp 2 shared. Your job is to cut as many trees as fast you can in a c2 dungeon. The other 4 peoples job is to clear the dungeon/ (trade the guy cutting trees, drop the logs). This may work for a competition but theoretically it probably wouldn't work for long term, unless you pay each of the people 500k/hr. Not bad for a noob, however I'd say realistcally you could pay 1 person 2m/hr, and get done a little slower but still fast. C2 fishing/wc is the most efficient method. Dapledo has past 100m wc, and looks like he's moving onto firemaking. Currently at 1.75B xp, I see him entering the top 15, along with 398573520683 and Simon, maybe all 3 of them before 2012. Gertjaars at 2.019B Xp Tg at 2B Xp and possibly KngKyle or Green098, could be kicked out.

I love the new updates then been doing the only things I miss is the Dragon Scimitar. The old square HP bar. Rune long/short swords. I like how are characters wouldn't lunge forward when we equip rune scimmys.

Hmm idc at all about rs getting easier, I actually encourage it, Im at 253 days played and I've only got 4 99s and 120dg, not to mention the 99s I've gotten are easy. I got 99 dung before occult floors even came out, and even though I knew they were coming out I kept training it. I don't think skills getting easier will matter as much if you're already 99, because you'll never have to train it again, unless you're going for 200m. I just play to have fun, playing for ranks isn't worth it because tbh, the first 22 ranks are what matters, and those will be filled within the next couple of years. Going for 200m after page 1 is just because you enjoy the skill or find it tolerable to train, or going for the prestigious 200m in every skill. But lets be honest, im at 253 days, so at the rate I play I'd prolly max around 400-500 days. Other get around 100-300 days; 100+ days to be able to finish a game is ridiculous. Ye ik its Runescape, but still. I think wow only takes about a month or less to max out, but they have a lot more endgame content. tl; dr: who cares if there are faster methods, the games gonna upgrade and get faster, if Jagex were to make a slower update the content would become dead, and it would be pointless investment of our memberships. 99s, can't really get devalued unless its something crazy like ivy, the maxed people are going to have to face the fact that more and more ppl will share their status symbols.
