People keep saying loafers, don't get any rewards, but when in fact they get games towards a completionist cape trim. >.> So saying loafers don't care about winning may be true, but even if they lose they still get rewarded. It's like botting, no effort at all and in the end you still get your achievement, but what should I care when half the community supports loafing/botting. I can already picture it, two lvl 138s following "dancing" in the castle named ilymolly and ilyjohn not paying attention to the level 124 running past them with the team flag, because they're so in love over rs to notice. yet they're wearing full bandos, and all their rich showy off gear. >.>

This, I feel like if they do trim their completionist cape, they didn't deserve it, because they leeched the hardest part about it. None of the players are "required" to get it, they just have a lust for e-status.

People usually don't just hook up with people they never met before. irl you often meet them at work or something, and RS you can never know if people are who they say they are, some people have screws lose in the head.

Anyways, does that mean that I am correct about fire runes being the best RC method? How much exp an hour is that? Also, how long would 200M dungeoneering take? Body runes are higher base xp than fires. Earths w/ gloves from FoG give the highest xp per ess. Of course, then you have to factor in the time taken getting the gloves. Without gloves, it's still hard to say which rune is the fastest xp if you're walking/running to the altars because you have to consider distance from the bank. It's also possible that teletabs from GoP could give faster overall xp than walking; I don't feel like doing the calculations to see if the time spent getting gloves/tabs is more efficient than just running. One thing I do know though, I can hardly stand rcing with teletabs. Running ess for 200m xp would be such a drag. Also, bonecrusher has never been f2p. [/HIDE] What about creating body tiaras?

Ye, it was getting ridiculous I quit after 7hours, cuz I ended up falling asleep for an hour while playing. I'm going to keep trying tomorrow, but it should seriously not take this long for a single piece.

That's a good point tbh, and I think "time wise" it will be the most time ever put into a single game by one person. I think I remembered reading a post a few 100 pages back that the world record of time put into a game was from someone who played rs? Like I think Drumgun was talking about how 1 person was ahead of him in time, but I have no clue.

Some people want to complete the game as such, or have OCD and cant rest not knowing there is something they havent done. So now if you make a 10 200m cape, those people will then force themselves to get 10 200ms.

All Jagex needs to do is make 200m a requirement for some crazy cape. I'm surprised how many 138s, are actually forcing themselves to get 5k castlewars games. For a cape trim? They don't seem to realize they don't have to get it.

I'm only against people who cheat on rs for an advantage, even if they're botting for something like PVP, or BH I don't think they deserve to have those activities, because they cheated the 100-200 hours of boring gameplay to access that content. People know clearly well what they have to do to reach higher level content, and if they don't want to put in the time then they should get off this game. I don't think that not enjoying something is an excuse to cheat. Even if your just cheating on a video games, whether you notice it or not those values will rub off into the real world, and you may in fact one day cheat on a test or something at work. (Even I've cheated on something, but I'm saying the more and more you do it, the easier it gets to accept it)

1st part: Perhaps, maybe not. A lot of people play RS for the parts of it you can't reach without grinding for months. 2nd part: True, yet irrelevant. People mostly support the sellers (and even then usually only support the "Oh I've been playing for 6 years and have a 20b bank, I'd also like to pay for college" type, not the sweatshop type. Well, unless you want to get into the influence of bots/gold farmers on the RS economy but that's a slightly different subject.) of gp, not the buyers. They support them because in the end Runescape is a game which cannot take precedence over real life. In short, we're saying that it's a respectable decision if not the most honorable one. On the other hand, Jagex selling RSgp would ruin the game. Considering that we're on a fansite, it's perfectly reasonable for people to freak out. Ye, I suppose your right about a lot of the fun parts take time to access, and is a boring grind but oddly enough I like how the games takes a lot of time to complete. Just it bothers me when I can put so much time into this game, then someone bots and without any effort achieves the same results, because then its like why did I waste all my time doing this. I do agree that irl money > rs money, if someone offered me 1000$ for my account and I knew they were legit, I'd do it. I guess its just the botting that gets on my nerves, I don't care to much for the bots that get money and sell it to others (because they're not trying to be "better" on rs, they just want some irl cash), but I hate bots that get money and buy nice armor to use/show off or bot skills to show off.

I think if people bot on RS, they shouldn't be playing it, because it's cheating. If you don't like the grind, then go play a freaking different game. Only reason why half of these anti-jagex people are still playing this game is because they invested to much time/don't wanna lose their elite feeling of power on rs. The other day a 138 asked how I botted my Dungeoneering, and it's like dude you don't need to be some elitest 138 deushbag to train the god damn skill. I agree I'd rather have like 100$ then 1b RS Gp, but my goal when playing Rs isn't to be efficient or to make money. It's just to relax. Not to mention if you're playing RS for irl money, probably not the best money making method you could be doing (whether or not your at the computer), however for a high schooler I'll admit its not a bad idea. Maybe, its just because how I was raised, cheating was never tolerated. Tbh I'd rather F a final then cheat and get a C or an A. Honesty is a good value to have whether it's irl or on a video game, but people get to fed up about things and try to make themselves "better" than another person. When did you start paying? They might be basing it on payment records. I was talking to an actual Jagex Mod, because he was by himself by the f2p hill giants house entrance. Weird huh? Anyways another person came and asked how old his account was, and the mod leaked out, that when you recover an account it asks the year you created your account, which is based off your holiday item. Which makes sense why the 10yr cape can't be out yet, cuz the scythe is the first untradable? So basically Im thinking if you skip out on holiday events gf 5yr cape. Edit: Bunny years were first drop, soz I wouldn't expect 10yr cape out till 10yrs from easter '03 (I could be entirely wrong about all of this) I've never done a single holiday event on my P2P file, but I could still get the vet cape. Did you transfer from classic to RS2, or create that file on RS2, because Jagex might be able to track classic to RS2 or holiday events. No clue lol.

There could be other ways of tracking also though, perhaps transferring from classic to RS2 is traceable, idk tho, not claiming any of it is true.
