I think people under estimate the benefits of overloads > extremes. Sure they maybe expensive, but two things. 1; You should make them for herb xp and not waste resources on like 30k of the same pot. 2; overloads are pretty much anti-crash effective. To be completely honest though the need for crashing is almost gone, seeing as no-one is at the slayer spots really anyways.

Hmm if someone tries to crash me its not going to work considering I train slayer with ovls + turm on every task, except maybe multicombat but I have a cannon + just deal half damage to everything. Easiest way to anticrash is to memorize the spawn pattern. Personally, I don't crash others but if someone tries crashing me Ill purposefully hog all the spawns. Luckily for me, I have 2 worlds that rarely have people plus I play when America/Europe is alseep and aussies waking up. I don't boss however so I have no idea what crashing is like there compared to slayer.

The pit is pretty nice now if you win. I won 2 games today and gambled my points. First gamble I got x2 and ended up 17.8k xp, the 2nd gamble I got x.5 and ended up about 3.7k. So I think for winning its around 7-9k xp before gamble.

I'm quite confident that Jagex have said that there won't be a new skill released during 2012. Would be interesting to see how the new skill plays out. I'm sure lots of people have effigies stored. Get like 90 by training the skill, then boom effigies for 1st to 99. It would be a gamble but after S U O M I gets 200m Rc it might be best to save effigies for the new skill rather then dumping into woodcutting or summoning.

S U O M I: 3.871B xp (+19m xp) - Disgusted by the lack of progress of the H.A.M. cult, S U O M I continues his almost six month journey of complete annihilation of the cave crawler genus. Covered in green slime from the fallen crawlers he managed to pull a 20m xp week comprising of Attack/Hp gains and Rc gains, with the corresponding effigy stages. Also, he has some nice farming gains with his effigy stages/tree runs. Coming milestones: None in sight ---- 2. Jake: 3.295B xp (+9m xp) - Trying to make amends for all the creatures he has slayed, Jake continues to help gather wood(Arctic pines) for his Fremennik friends. His week mainly consisted of woodcutting, with the corresponding firemaking gains from his Adze. According to a few spies on this thread he was stalked by one of the greatest evils known to Runescape. Coming milestones: None in sight ---- 3. Jdelacroix 3.126B xp (+12m xp) - Jdela continues to powerslay with Dragonkin lamps on Runecrafting and has recently changed to Defence training, as he reached 100m strength the previous week. Like many of the top players he continues to do his daily tree runs, and being consistent over the years he is now less than 4m xp away from 200m Farming. Also, while not being the fastest slayer in the world his gains are beginning to show as he approaches 80m Slayer xp. Coming Milestones: 200m Farming/Thieving, 100m Defence ---- 4. Elvis: 3.092B xp (+17m xp) - The the 2nd biggest xp gainer this week, and the 2nd most covered in crawler slime continues to aid his fellow top players in the slaughter fest under Pollnivneach. His xp gains are very similar to S U O M I except still has Range xp available, and uses Strength instead of Attack. Coming Milestones: 200m Ranged ---- 5. Elias: 3.047B xp (+10m xp) - Same as Elvis and S U O M I, except on a much smaller scale. Looks like he is storing effigies too. A month back and still whooping crawler ass! Coming Milestones: 200m Ranged, 100m Farming ---- 6. Drumgun: 2.950B xp (+5m xp) - Working on his row of 200m skills(Attack - Crafting) he has fished quite a few rocktails at lrc as well as some crafting gains. Coming Milestones: 200m Woodcutting ---- 7. Telmomarques: 2.871B xp --Inactive-- 8. Allar: 2.680 xp --Inactive-- ---- 9. Kingduffy: 2.438B xp (+9m xp) - The King of skills continues to follow his Guthixonian traditions and have a nice balance between all his skills. However half of his week consisted of firemaking. Will he be the first to reach the 50m base? Coming Milestones: 100m Ranged/Magic/Slayer/Hunter ---- 10. AlmostLost: 2.365B xp (+2m xp) - Although he has slowed his playing down since 200m Defence he still continues to strive for his 200m farming goal. He also trained some firemaking. Rumour has it that he has learned a few tricks from a Zaros dancer. Coming Milestones: Nothing in sight ---- 11. Zarfot: 2.353B xp --Inactive-- 12. Green098: 2.266B xp (+6M xp) - One of the more controversial players and the only female in the top 15. She continues to slay with every style except Ranged as she his 200m in the skill. Some Rc gains this week from her effigies. Coming Milestones: 50m Slayer ---- 13. KngKyle: 2.227B xp (+7m xp) - KngKyle continues his goal of 200m woodcutting, but has also trained a bit of slayer this week. Coming Milestones: 200m woodcutting ---- 14. Paperbag: 2.225B xp (+14m xp) - The king of buyables has been back for about a month! However instead of spending money he's been looting pyramids deep in the desert. With his pace, he should start to reclaim his hold in the top 15. According to his RSS feed he managed to loot black ibis in 6m xp. Huge gz to him on that. He also continues to his ultimate goal of 200m Farming. Coming Milestones: 200m Farming ---- 15. Pope712: 2.205B xp (+.2m xp) - One of the top slayers of Runecape. He has vastly slowed down his playing. Perhaps he is getting bored of the game, or real life is in the way atm. Coming Milestones: 200m Hp, 100m Summoning, 50m Farming Outside the top 15: Dapledo - 2.062B Recently reaching 100m cooking/magic, has moved onto prayer with a 46m xp gained this week. Dragonseance - 1.914B passed the 1.9B xp mark. Beware S U O M I Simon - Training Fletching, and passed the 2b mark Paulrat3 - Not really mentioned but his slowing climbing the front page ranks, and has passed the 2.1B mark. No players outside the top 15 showing any signs of really passing the 2.2b mark anytime soon Perhaps Da Broman1 will be the first to enter in the upcoming months.

Could feeding the pet troll be a good method for disposing inventories like fishing and granite mining, maybe even woodcutting. You would lose the familiar though as the down side.

Not sure if this has any significant effect on future of xp caps, but rank 1 in Dominion Tower passed the 200m mark.

So new fire cape most likely won't be a requirement for the completionist cape? Why don't they just upgrade the cape but take it off everyone until they defeat the new tzhaar boss, then you can wear it again.

Software will base it off cpu, so make sure you;re in opengl or direct x. Sometimes RS won't pick up the graphics card and you have to enable it for Java or some weird stuff. But ye computer should handle rs fine.

Just buy like a 500$ tower at best buy, then buy a 100$ graphics card and Runescape will run about 30-40fps. Isn't to bad seeing as RS caps at 50. Most laptops go off the cpu and have integrated graphic chips which is why they're so bad at handling RS, even though they can go full graphics, you'll be running 8-15fps. Pretty much any tower within the last 3 years will be able to run RS decently, as long as you buy a graphics card. So graphic card being the big player of handling RS. Now dual moniters are just extra perks, and up2 the user. If you're only wanting to play RS on highest graphics with bloom w/ very little lag, 500-1000usd would easily accomplish that.

I doubt much. All people got on the bot nuke were legal threats. Some still got rollbacks, but idk. Jagex needs to keep members, and I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume a large portion of current paying members used impsoft bots. While I could care less if cheaters got banned and I'd actually support it, but longterm wise I don't see it as a good investment. It's not like they could resume botting and especially now.

Never realized how many people have 10+ 50m xp. Those are some nice overall players.

I had the same problem edited the surrounding character in Paint but couldn't find out how to make it transparent. However on the 1st page of this thread Tiigon posted how to do it in the program GIMP. So, I just googled and downloaded GIMP, and followed his tutorial. Hedgehog will do it for you, but it's always good to learn these things for maybe other projects.
