200M in all Skills
^ Nice loot, should have tried it when the gold keys were 1/50 instead of 1/10. Almost makes me want to put off black ibis. No plans on a shade skull?

Will the dragon warhammer ever be released?
In one Q & A Jagex was talking about he possibilities of Dragon ore, crossbow, and warhammer iirc first QA since mod mark took over. However in more recent Q & A's they denied the warhammer and said the chaotic crossbow is the dragon one (lol).

27-Mar-2012 - Morytania Tasks
Gold keys are now about 1/10 fiyr burns while wearing Morytania legs 3 (used to be 1/50). Kinda sucks I spent so much on Necro robes. Oh well though.

200M in all Skills
I was thinking the other day, theoretically the SoF is the most efficient method of training in the game. This would assume that no life factors are involved, as this may take thousands of years, even though it maybe able to produce the lowest amount of time in game for 5b xp. Assuming the average amount of xp from the SoF a day is 4k (99 base), maybe a lot different. It would take 1.25m days to get 5b xp, or 3424 years. However this would equate to 15 million seconds (12 seconds a day), or 173.6 days played/4200 hours. Also this method would be completely free. However, this is obv unrealistic and shouldn't really be discussed. I'd at least say that SoF would end up saving several hours if not days getting 200m in all skills with normal methods.

27-Mar-2012 - Morytania Tasks
Dang now nubs won't ask how I managed to have a ghast follow me out of the swamp. Oh well lol Also, damn you fishing. Only task needed for fally/fremenik, and now Morytania... 84-87 farming shouldn't take too long at least but 82 - 91 fishing...

over the last few days i've had the urge to kill things
If you haven't yet, completing the fight kiln is always a nice combat challenge, as you'll most likely end up using all 3 styles and such. Powering through the normal caves is fun too. Fight Kiln/caves pretty much my highlight of the last month playing. There's always monsters under Daemonheim too.

Temple Trekking - Smiddi/Rolayne leveling
Ye I meant I just rushed the 2 hard people. Didn't cover the other 4 because the thread title is just asking about Smiddi/Rolayne, and I followed Castle War's YT guide and he said to just easy rush the hard people. Anyways here's the guide I used. Well the video isn't a guide, but he explains what to do in the description under the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woCvh8rQ0b4

Temple Trekking - Smiddi/Rolayne leveling
Idk if this is the best way but I level them to 99 by just rushing easy paths, literally 1 - 99 on easy. Took probably like 25hrs to level them all to 99, but ended up with over 9m in raw sharks, and 100k worth of summoning xp, and 3 lumberjack outfits.

Botting in Runescape
RuneScape has already been taking baby-steps toward the instant gratification. Look at how long skills took to train just a year ago. Two years ago. Hell, go back 5 years. Remember how rare maxed combat players were, let alone maxed in all stats? Now maxed players flood the game. Jagex is already releasing updates which are allowing people to reach levels faster then ever. (Hi Soul Wars!). Every time they get a group of people complaining about a certain skill/group being left out, they cave in. Its no argument that skills are getting faster, but do you think there would still be tons of maxed players, just due to time spent on the game. There of course wouldn't be as many, but even with the old rates if you're playing 10 hours a day, chances are you'd max over 5+ years of playing. Assuming those 10 hrs are towards leveling. I know not every maxed person plays 10 hours a day, but it sure does seem like the average amount of time spent on rs per day has gone up for the higher level community over the past years.

200M in all Skills
I think it would just depend on what he does after attack. He has a lot of fast skills Hunter, Thieving, and Crafting. He has firemaking too, but that will most likely have to wait after woodcutting. If he chooses Rc or woodcutting, either Jdelacroix or Tezz could shorten the gap before a 1b lead. Jdela is doing slayer which is pretty fast xp/hr when you add in all the other skills. Tezz would just depend on what he does after woodcutting, he has over 500m xp left in fast buyables. I wonder if another player will reach 4b before S U O M I reaches 5b.

20-Mar-2012 - Bakriminel Bolts
For some reason I find the fight cave jad harder than the actual kiln. Mainly because when the healers come out, its hard to focus on them and then jad at the same time, and they also heal him making it a longer fight. Whereas the Jads in the fight kiln, I rarely mess up on them because you can kill them before prayer drops and 100% concentration on just his attacks without any other distractions. For me it only took 2 tries to get the kiln cape and literally 15 or more tries for the fire cape. Sadly I got my first fire cape using the gano method, but I managed to get another one w/o using gano which I was somewhat proud of even though I was 137cb. lol For the bolt update I was kinda bummed out. I was hoping for the polypore equivalent to range, cheap and pretty damn powerful. Range with broads isn't to bad or the crystal bow in terms of price, but bring in DPS and range becomes a joke compared to melee and magic.

I guess that they hid their adventure log, tragic. Doesn't matter anyways, because I've seen lucky dragon claws and they're a different color than normal dragon claws. They lucky version almost have the same red as the old corrupt dragon armor. So I'd assume the lucky Divine will have a different shade of green to make it easily determinable as a Lucky Divine. I think thats why he hid his a-log so people think he has the real one? idk looks like rs wiki has seem them too.

Kingduffy has a 40M base as well. Yep Kingduffy was second to 40m base, which he got earlier this week. However, she is still a really well balanced player which personally are my favorite type of players, besides Comp Cape T players who didn't leech Cwars, although that might be very very few.

16 - Mar - 2012 - Bonus XP Weekend
Well Artisans workshop respect is not increased along with the xp. Might as well get the bonus smith xp anyways, even though I was really after the respect. Other than that 82 - 84 farming in 8 minutes! On second though maybe I'll just go mine. If I knew respect would not increase would've just done 84 - 90 crafting.

13-Mar-2012 - Loyalty Additions and Lodestone Network
I've used the normal mage book for the past 7 years unless the other ones were needed for a quest/activity. Anyways, what mage book is better ancients or lunars? Depending on how decent these lodestones are I don't need to worry about mage much, so I'm glad for this update. Maybe lunars as I rarely do mage cb and even then will just use polypore.

200M in all Skills
I agree... To an extent. As I said earlier - the most efficient training methods are often the most boring which require the most attention and are least AFKable. Majority of the times, these methods are not by any means 'fun'. However! What is wrong with training and grinding for faster XP, enduring hours of boring XP gains, so that you can get to the fun stuff more quickly? Just my thoughts. :P. I suppose it would depend on the method and what said player finds fun. Personally I'd rather grind something for 5hrs, then do something fun for 10hrs to reach the same goal. Then again I would rather do something fun for 200 hours then grind for 100 hours. So for me it would just depend on how far my goal is. Some people can grind day after day, others like me don't really have the attention span and will end up just bank standing for the same amount of time that we could've been training. I got around 300 days played and should have got the comp cape 200 days played ago, if I played efficiently. Also I actually find non-afk methods more enjoyable, but thats just because if I try watching a movie or playing another game or hw while woodcutting Ivy, Ill forget about rs and just focus on the main priority. There's nothing wrong with doing boring methods, but I just think some people have different limits of how much they can handle them. You're contradicting yourself. For some people RS is a real life-thing; voluntarily. Idk I just treat rs as any other game, just I tend to play it a lot more because I find it more enjoyable and not finished with it. Anyways if rs was someones life, still doesn't mean they shouldn't have fun on the game/do whatever methods they enjoy. In the end it's their account and no-one elses.

200M in all Skills
My opinion on real time vs game time is that real time would best be used for "first to 200m in all skills", and in-game time would be used for 200m in all skills. I personally don't like to add rl factors into efficiency calculations, and keep it purely rs based. Like I said before it would be more efficient to ignore school, and focus on RS non afk fastest methods, but ofc I would highly not recommend that. People just need to remember that rs is purely meant for entertainment purposes and should never get in the way of rl things and like people often say you should maximize fun. Some people may judge you on your training methods, but in the end it should just be about you having fun with your friends on the game, and who cares what some e-troll thinks.

200M in all Skills
I'd have to agree with the posters saying that efficiency should be purely defined as xp/hr factored with gp being factored in also. Ofc the gp part is sketchy as there's very minimal time flipping/merching, while camping frosts/nex takes a bit of time or someone could get donations or lucky at staking. I wouldn't say we should completely factor out the time making gp, because that would make methods like making demon thrones to 200m acceptable. However, I don't think fun should be an added factor. Look how many people said camping cave crawlers would never be done by anyone. S U O M I spent a good 6 months at them, and other top ranks were spending time there as well. Ofc its inefficient now because of the effigy update. I think for example it would be ok to say, "Dragonseance is a good x months away to 200m woodcutting doing Ivy", even though in the time calc it should have the most reasonable method which would be splitting pines with adze or whatever is the best method time wise atm. Woodcutting Ivy while doing school work would be more xp than not doing it, however its still not efficient in terms of Rs, because in that case you wouldn't be doing your hw but only focusing on rs. That shouldn't give anyone the right for bashing people for being ineffecient, but I'd still say efficiency in Rs should always be based off xp/hr and gp/hr should be based off an publicly accepted value. Example Player A and player B start rs on the same day, both goal is 99 woodcutting. Player A decides to do Ivy so he can focus on school work and gets 99 woodcutting in a week. Total Days played: 4 (not accurate to actual ivy just pretending) Player B decides to do a method less afk than Ivy and faster xp/hr, but only plays when he has the time. It takes him 2 months to get 99 woodcutting. Total Days played: 3. Imo player B would be more effecient although he got 99wc at a later date, however player A gets to reap the benefits first.

Tip.It Times - 4th March 2012
I never thought of f2p has a demo. I always thought of it as the same as p2p but more restrictions. I don't think people should be pushed into membership. I was actually f2p for the first 3 years of my rs career. I know when I was playing I never saw these advertisements to become a member. The most I remember was, "this area is a members only area" or something like that. To me it makes Jagex look desperate, but maybe from a business view point it makes sense. I would suggest Jagex add more p2p to f2p interaction. As us the players should be the "advertisement" for p2p. One solution would be House parties in f2p. ofcourse remove the member benefits like the gilded alter/certain teleports Just give us a reason to join a f2p world every now and then and interact with them. For the 2nd article. I don't mind things getting easier/faster. Making the environment left click, is just fixing things imo. There's a difference of making an entirely new skilling method and making older skilling methods more user friendly. In today's age, skills and money making should be getting faster. Especially with level 80 armors costing close to 1b. Also, it would be hard for a new player to get on our level, something that took us five years to do. Not many people like to join a game and find out they have to spend 7 years to get a high level. That's probably why Jagex is making things easier at lower/med levels.
