The Dsq looks really awesome with gold trim, much better than having it spiked imo. And wow @ smelly gettin 3rd age druid! Nice one i didnt think anyone would be stupid enough to sell in the GE tbh lol, Doesnt looks as awesome as i thought it would however :angry: Does anyone else remember from when Mini-clip started advertising Runescape, they had images of a gold trimmed Dragon Sq shield? Interesting to see just how long it's taken for Jagex to implement it (we're talking I don't know...more than 3 years ago here).

The spikes just seem a bit too overboard, especially on the full helm, looks pretty bad. Espcially the female version of the full helm. Think if I want to trim my Dragon armour I'll go with the gold trim now! Examples from the Rune wiki, it just looks gorgeous <3: (Although the full helm still looks pretty rubbish) :lol:

How do you think people would feel if Jagex gave out furies and dragon full helms/platebodies as treasure trail rewards? There would be an outcry. Ornament kits are Jagex's way of giving us trimmed dragon armor, armor not included. I didn't mean that at all, i'm just saying that since trimming is handled differently, perhaps they should add an extra touch to them, since afterall, your either having to get hold of them yourself, or buy the kits AND the armour, which is either, rare to get it all, or costly. That gives them a reason to be handled differently compared to previous gold trimmed armour like rune and such.

I'd also like to contribute to this topic! My thoughts on Ornamental kits for Dragon armour. They just give tweaks to the looks but this could of been a perfect oppurtunity to bring a bit more life into an old armour set that still maintains quite some value! I was thinking thanks to the spikes that perhaps they could be attached and result in the armour pieces gaining strength bonuses, perhaps +2 to each armour piece. I was thinking of just leaving the gold trimming as nothing more than decoration, but I decided perhaps it would be nice to have a slight prayer bonus, again, +2 to each armour piece. Just giving a slight improvement to an out of date set of armour. You still need to pay a bit of money, or get lucky enough to get these items as drops, and then get lucky enough to get a kit or buy one, so why not give them a slight bonus? Heck they could throw in a free teleport to the TzHaar bank on the Fury Amulet ornamental kit. Again, nothing overpowered, but hey, why not make these 'trimmings' slighlty more unique since they come seperately from the equipment themselves? Dragon platelegs could become a much cheaper alternative to Bandos tassets, and the Dragon Square Shield which is pretty badly beaten by the tremoundous amount of shields could gain a bit of redemption. It would be nice to see a little more variety in higher levels using certain gear, I find it pretty boring going on a slayer task and seeing everyone in near enough the same setup. Let's have a bit of a change Jagex!

I thought they were warped/occult. :unsure: Warped and Chaotic. Didn't they change chaotic to occult? I think they have, most recent articles keep calling it occult.

So we gotta wait another 10 years for them to finish off all their quest lines? :lol:

Well to add on to this conversation of Ice Strykewyrms, I'm level 93 Slayer and just got my first ever task last night, resumed it today and! [Hide][/Hide] My first SOL drop :) from my first ever task! But I think i'm owed that since I've killed loads of Dark Beasts and never gotten a D Bow...

Applied and hoping to get in, very curious to see it and doubt I can wait till 2011 for my first experience of it!

Just beaten my personal record by a good 50 tears haha! Doubt that'll ever happen again.

Now that i've let it sunk in, for the first time ever, I feel like I didn't deserve the reward for the amount of effort put in. I love the reward! But, it didn't feel appropriate, far too easy. I'm sure some will struggle with a certain point of it, but it went peachy for me really.

It was a good quest I guess but far too short...come on Jagex, we are now halfway through the year and so far nothing has really stood out.

I hope it has some Zaros discussions and allows you to make an Altar to him and maybe change some other stuff too <3: I very much doubt that. Maybe after the Ritual quest... It's just that one of the rooms has statues of a woman with an Ancient Staff so I was wondering if that itself was a Zaros prayer room. So i'm hoping that's a hint that Jagex will update Construction to include Zaros related stuff since he's been missed out for so long, hell we got an Altar to Bob the Cat before Zaros, that's not cool. <_<

I hope it has some Zaros discussions and allows you to make an Altar to him and maybe change some other stuff too <3:

Those items were all found in the cache atleast a year ago, so they could of been tweaked a bit since then.
