  1. Bahahahaha. I'd have to come off curses so I could use quick heal/restore in order to make use for it since that is probably the only thing it'll be good for. It would just take over 27 minutes to fully restore my prayer which is pretty pointless in a combat situation. edit - And that is all I'll say on the subject, what's done is done, gotta deal with it.
  2. I really must complain, I've now got a torso that is absolutely useless, if I wanted defence I would use Dragon/Barrows. And yes the set effect is nice but that means that I would have to invest more time into the minigame to get the other pieces. Haha, no thanks. I like my black and white whip, that is nice. But yeah, Jagex get it through your head that we have enough alternative full rune sets now.
  3. Trident also grabs back runes you use in spells sometimes... errr gf battle robes?
  4. Gf Fighter Torso strength bonus.
  5. I've used several different setups. Mostly consisting of black dhide top and bottoms, dragon boots, neitiz helm, fury ammy, barrows boots, bandos gs for spec and zammy spear for fighting. Inventory and pack yak full of rocktails or sarabrews/restore pots. Have you tried ruby bolts, then switching to some melee armour and a whip for when he goes berserk? . I took 7 super restores and 17 sara brews, d plate and legs, whip and moss titan in invent and had however many sharks a war tortoise can hold and did just fine. Edit - and I hid behind the pillars whenever he was going to launch the 75 hit, I didn't try to tank those hits.
  6. when i saw lucin die in temple of ikov, he just got hit for a 1 and baddly pretended he was beaten. no ofence but i thought it would be obvoius that he was a bajillion times stronger then that, just acting weak. khazard is a mahjarrat? he does not strike me as one, being undead, more human shaped then mahjarrat, and has no wings. well if he is then how strong would an undead mahjarrat be? besides, maybe mahjarrat dont HAVE to be strong, just most of them (or more likely, only a few that are noted for there strength) are strong? Lucien was at his weakest at that point, I can only speculate that he transformed himself into a more humanoid appearance and that resulted in him eating up a good chunk of power (Jhallan mentioned it consumed energy), there has been pieces of lore which have stated him to be very powerful, perhaps not physically strong, attempts to hold a sword are meant to be feeble, but definitely not someone to be underestimated, and now it's plainly obvious not to underestimate him now that he has the staff of Armadyl and the Stone of Jas! And as Morningrise has said, Khazard is the youngest Mahjarrat, I can't remember if there's something about him being born on Gielinor, if that is the case then that means he hasn't seen as much battle and conflict as the others and wouldn't be trained up to the same level as them.
  7. I mentioned that too, everyone seems to have missed it >_>
  8. Black and White, Void and Temple Knights quest.
  9. I'm thinking it's Lucien, he has connections to the Elite's, they refer to their superior as their master, if it was Zamorak or even Zaros I would expect them to be referred to as God or Empty/Dark Lord. And judging from the conversation before the battle with Nomad, this person can actually come after him, so that rules out Zamorak because he can't return to Gielinor (for now atleast). Edit - and of course, it can't be Zaros since the Elite's are a force of Zamorak. Why did I even mention Zaros  I slightly debate the death of him since he is hanging around in the Shadow realm. And I'm only speculating here, but the way the postbags and general information from in-game suggest, I reckon the Mahjarrat can only die from attending a ritual or from not attending enough of them to restore power and falling into the 'death sleep', the only Mahjarrat we can truly say have been killed are the ones noted by Zemoreugal. Khazard and Lucien are still around in some form or another.
  10. My current strategy for Nomad [hide] I'm 82 Prayer and 90 Range I use Robin, Fury, Black D'hide, Barrow Gloves, snakeskin boots, diamond bolts (e), runite crossbow, spirit shield, archers ring (i) and Ava's accumulator (well i took a skill cape but i realised it's a bad idea because you waste stacks of bolts!) I take 18 Sara Brews and 7 Super Restores, 1 titan, 100 titan scrolls, 1 ranging potion I fill a war tortoise full of Sharks beforehand and dose up on ranging potion and super defence at a bank. I slap on sap Attack, Strength and Defence, could probably get away with putting on Mage too, the amount of times you need to sip a Super Restore negates the fast dropping of prayer points. Only did this the one time and I was able to bring him down to 3/4 health, where he then heals back up to 1/2 health, this is much further than I've ever gotten before, the problem was a lack of food in the end. I think i'll try replacing a ranging potion with a whip since melee may work better at the end, and also try ruby bolts (e) instead, the special effect of the diamond bolts really didn't help a drastic amount. [/hide]
  11. [hide]I took a Lava Titan, it didn't do too much damage, hit a few 8's but you'll be wanting the potions/food![/hide]
  12. I've found that melee works best for me, however that is still only knocking 1/4 off of his health. I'll come back to this another time, you've won the fight Nomad, but not the war! <_< Edit MotherbrainII
  13. Never went down so fast in my life
  14. Getting ready to battle Nomad and prepared to get the [wagon] whooping of my life
  15. Might be unoriginal but it relates to the dagannoth so it's not really since that's what the quest is related to :P I thought it was a good quest tbh but reward was too generous :P It was far too generous a reward, but I won't complain, it got me a 99
  16. Christmas came early for me with the new quest!
  17. Thank you very much new quest <3:
  18. I rather like this update! \:D/ Can't wait to get a task of 240 spiritual mages to be honest.
  19. Interesting :) Hopefully that means it's popping up today!
  20. I'll do the clues for my noob account very shortly then get back to cracking on with my uni work. Gah, bring on the end of the semester!
  21. Quest was shorter than I expected but I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and like the reward :) Bring on the next Mahjarrat quest please!
  22. The curse prayers are awesome, and hello worshipping Zaros for new prayers? Brb, need to change my pants, ahhh so excited! But I must hand in my essay for uni first :( EDIT - and the RS homepage background is awesome, is it basically hieroglyphics depicting Zammy with a staff of Armadyl and his posse attacking Zaros? :D
  23. By membership he might mean he's stopped playing on his account? I've found that if I play on f2p I get script errors too and it keeps asking me to debug but does nothing except close runescape or leaves a white screen. It doesn't happen straight away, it happens after about 10 minutes of playing and tends to happen more if my mouse even remotely hovers over the ads.
  24. Making Astrals is more profitable for me than making Natures, haha, what a waste of my time gunning for 91.
