Now trading: An almost mint condition book, entitled 'The Science of Harry Potter'. It i about how the magic in Harry Potter could feasably be explained, in real life, using real Physics, Chemistry and Biology methods and theories. For example, how a broomstick could actually be made to fly, using reverse polarity diamagnetism. It sounds complicated, but it is all very well explained. To a Science nerd like myself, this is a fantastic book! Written by Roger Highfield, it is excellently written, and very well researched. A very interesting read! Who will trade it with me!?

Are you actually against people making suggestions to improve the forum? It is something that I feel would be useful if it were changed. You may not see the point in it, but I am guessing that you haven't answered literally hundreds of posts saying 'when is this'.

Thats not what I'm talking about, People who say '1 hour from the time of this post', and then people come along who haven't been following the thread closely, and see that message, but because their settings are not correct, it appears to them that that message was posted an hour ago, making the event start now.

Is there any way that a Daylight Saving Setting could be enabled on these boards? As an event planner, I know that it is really very confusing when people haven't changed their profile to enable them to see posts in their own proper time. What I mean by this, is that when the country that people live in goes into or out of DST, most of them forget to change the timezone that they live in. Therefore they are constantly posting things like 'You say the event is an hour from your last post, but it is actually two hours', et cetera, et cetera, and it is generally very confusing and difficult to put them straight. I don't know how feasable this would be, but it would definitely make thing easier to plan!

I did Desert Treasure the other day (combat lvl 100). I didn't die at all, but Damis was pretty dam hard! I melleed the whole lot, so thats probably why I found it tough going! Tip: When doing Damis, turn auto-retaliate OFF! Otherwise when you pot up or eat food, you start attacking the skeletons again. Good luck, I'm off to H&A to give you any other advice you might need.

D of E award, climbed Sca-fell pike by mistake :lol: One wrong turn and we were going uphill instead of downhill, and we were too kncackered to realise! Anyhows, we were supposed to camp out by Styhead tarn at about 700 metres, instead we climbed to the top of Sca-fell, didnt realise where we were, stood on top, saw that we were on the highest point that we could see and though, 'Hmm, this aint it'! So, we climbed to a little over 3000 feet, and camped out at about 2800 feet, on a hill, in the snow, with an estuary flowing under our tent, and 4 big guys sharing a 2 man tent (for warmth). Good times!

Lol, seriously, you have to know him to know why! It's just something about his persona... I swear he must be the spawn of satan too, because he seems invincible! I managed to (accidentaly) throw him in front of a double decker bus in year 8, and he didn't get hit somehow. He has managed to run off a cliff and survive. Buthey, what am I saying?! If you honestly want to trade him, do so, but you have been warned!

I don't know what the police are like down under, but here, if you phoned the police with something like that, they wouldn't come out. They are reactive police rather than proactive most of the time. If you had stuck around outside, you would have likely been hurt yourself, or otherwise negatively involved. Don't beat yourself up about it, it's not your fault! Companies that run and own ATM machines have insurance up to their eyeballs, so seriously, forget about it. I know in quiet kind of area, it can come as a shock when something like this happens, but in the grand scheme of things, its no big deal. Things like the 53 million pound heist that ocurred in England last year, now THAT is a big deal!
