To melee you, they have to take off their SoL, removng the effect, then you can mage them, they start maging, withoiut the Staff of light, allowing you to melee them for the rest of the duel, while waring your karils to reduce damage on you.

You will be using the seercul againt the mager, to stop them using blood barrage on you. You will then swap to whatever bow/sheild you use for ranging I made a fair amount of money doing this, and only lost one fight becase I got combo'd badly by blood blitz.

I would suggest starting off just spinning flax. it is simple money, and allows profit, when you have more, you can do other things. Edit: Fletching will also work, I belive certain bows gain profit?

You obviously didn't read the part where I mentioned the staff of light.

The best way to do this is to do the "staking my rules my level" people, as they will look like they are melee, but actually mage. if you swap it so it is range and mage AND melee allowed, then you just seercul/ crossbow themto death

Not much happening rcently, but I FINALLY GOT 126 combat!! Shame was, i got with 94 attack,and I dont want to level attack till 97 strength.

The seercul is a cheap weapon with a lethal special attack against mages, that could be used against people using the "staking my rules" and hoping you will will try and special them out, soon to realise that they have a staff of light, to nullify your attacks. For those who dont know, the seercul's special attack reduces your opponents magic level, an as long as they chooe not to autocast, they will not be able to use blood barrage, as the seercul special will have educed their magic level, and stop them casting barrage spells on you. I tried this myself in a few duels, and it seems very effective, if you wear armadyl or karils , you normally have enough accuracy to hit through ahrims and swap out to your crossbow and sheild, while they swear and call you a bug abuser. A few responses I expect: «But cant mages still cast if they use autocast after the seercul special?» Yes, but generally people do no autocast in stakes to make it easier to choose the spell they want. an remember, they will suffer a massive accuracy loss, as they will be 92 or lower magic. Would it bepossible for you to hybrid on your first account? Wouldnt have to be a pro risk, but youu may want to het 95 prayer for turmoil, so you could throw in some proper good dds specials, or even dragon claws. Im ot sufre what you have bank and quest reward wise, but dharoks with ags (or claws after the update soon) may work well aswell, its all down to what you can afford.

What strength exact? and defense? Thanks for the reply. No exact number, but one defence and as high a strength as you can cope getting is best.

Why not save tokens, incase you become a member? you'll be 1/5 of the way to your chaotic before you even start.

Low defense, high strength, 60 attack. maybe 31 prayer for the 15% strength boost

I just dced in the middle of a fight, and I have the attack option on everyone out of the wildy.... shame it doesnt work. :/

90 defense, 72 prayer 73 slayer and 5 EFFIGIES In one slayer task (197 black demons) Also, I have realised that untrimmed hp is gonna be near impossible to get with a rapier, because there is no controlled option. Guess Ill use all my effigies on hp and hope for the best. Dont forget to leave a post, and see ya aroud!

I managed to get a zurial's skirt off a rev imp, after i killed someone who killed the imp. So I guess I dint get it, but it was like my BCP drop last month. I didnt really get the drop, but oh well. Free zuriels skirt. ^_^
