In my game, I was planning to leap on Sweden to take them down a notch, but then they formed Scandanavia and I was screwed. I was in an alliance with Austria (As Naples turned to Italy) for the first two hundred years of the game, so I abused our friendship to vassalise all of the Middle East and protect me while I created the greatest colonial empire. Then they realised what I was doing and broke our alliance, so I am kinda scared, because they have five times as many troops as me in Europe (We're about equal in terms of global armies, but they own half the HRE, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, and stole Greece from the Ottomans, while I still only have just Italy in Europe.

Of course it does. Just a bit more masochistic and with a few more leather straps than normal.

Well, once I was messing around with the balance between bass and treble on my car's speakers (didn't know you could do that before) and I heard a buncha crap from the cellos that I've never heard before. And a wierd gurgle in the opera singer's throat. I changed it back though, because you can't hear bumbling bass against the sounds of the road anyways.

Ahahaha, they messed up my schedule so badly. They forgot to give me one period in the day and forgot to add two math classes. :D

So in regards to the system, it uses attributes from DnD, but anything related to our stats will only be seen and calculated by you, and the rest of the stuff is GM fiat (as in, it's more of something that you judge rather than there being hard rules for it), like Dungeoneering, right? Please clarify a bit. :)

I think that for your idea, Icu, it might be a better idea to use one of the other systems that Grim and Wyvren were suggesting. DnD is not really designed to be played with point based (aka Dungeoneering leveling) things and a lack of classes.

Clearly there are some positions that some of us cannot agree upon, so it would be impossible to have everybody playing.

Icu, it would depend on which DnD and what changes you're making. Personally, I could probably adapt to most changes that you're making, if you state them up front.

I have no idea what a Penumbra is, but I assume it's a game that you're making? If you've put some good effort into it, the least I could do is give it a good looking over to see. When will it be up? (Maybe you could send me a sneak preview of the magic system when you're done with that? :))
