  1. Good point Good point! ------ What did the South-East Asian countries and South Korea say about my proposal? I would think they would respond within a few days (in real life, a few minutes).
  2. -Archi You might need a few more points for that. Or I could give you all that you want, in exchange for some severe disadvantages.
  3. I'm basically saying that Ukraine likes Russia infinitely more than France. So basically they would wait for the Russian reply, which is to stay out of the coalition.
  4. Well, basically Ukraine is pro-Kremlin. The Pro-Western president of yore placed 5th place in the elections...So if not with Russia, then definitely an enemy of France.
  5. If you read the news, Ukraine is going to elect a pro-soviet government...so they'd be Russia's puppy. ------------ Japan offers South-East Asian countries the chance to join a republic, which is actually more like a loose coalition of states, which defend each other. They will also have a free trade zone, and will become more competitive in the global economy. I wonder what they think of that. (Singapore, South Korea, Papau New Guinea, Malaysia, Indonesia)
  6. The SFW can't be that advanced. If anyone, it would be a NPC country.
  7. I know that's true, but normally leaders of countries don't have hive minds. -cough Archi- That means they should at least be more cautious before all volunteering to jump on board.
  8. I think that the nations of Europe should act purely in their self interest: not forming an alliance until Grim actually says "Look out Europe, Germany is back!" Otherwise you're acting quite preemtively as an omnicient power, when they should be more like the countries that are ruled by current day leaders (since no one controls them). --------- I might have a friend from school coming in as Russia. So you never know what's going to happen there.
  9. I'm basically saying that Singapore should know something is going terribly wrong with the world. Besides, somehow you've created a united Europe, which I'm pretty sure most of the nations were opposed to. (The biggest proponent was basically Germany, which is now ruled by an insane dictator)
  10. The emporer enacts the Monzo doctrine, asking Western nations not to interfere in the affairs of Asia. Problem solved, I wonder how South Korea feels now. <_<
  11. Archi A new leader just took over China. Germany is almoust out of Nato. Japan is doubling its armed forces. South Korea would be crushed if China attacked, since with your modifier idea a single of three million Chinese troops can take out one of America's troops. Ireland isn't that destabilised.
  12. Indonesia is plagued with political instability after their very popular president died. Singapore has no defence against attack, which frankly in this world of evil dictators (think the hegemony), they would be glad to accept. South Korea is quite frankly scared as hell about China steamrolling them like they almost did when North and South Korea were fighting. Canada would never join, because they feel quite safe next to the United States in their all powerful continent. <_<
  13. That domestic unrest thing was if China was NPC controlled and there was a really stupid AI. :) -------- Sere, it does have 117 major warships. It was copy and pasted directly from Wikipedia. The United States has about 284 warships, which are pretty much all larger than the Japanese ones. :P -------- Plans continue to incorperate Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, and the Papau New Guinea into the Japanese Constitutional Republic. Indonesia should be easily pressured to join, since they are democractic and their leader just died (poor gal). Singapore and South Korea are some of the Asian tigers and would benefit greatly from Japanese support, since all their religious freedom and economic system would be guarenteed, and they'd get protection from the Japanese military, incase the Chinese communists decide to invade South Korea again. Papau New Guinea, one of the poorest nations on Earth, is offered economic aid and support to become successful like the other Asian tigers. -------- Oh yes, defences like bunkers and artillery are being built on the Japanese islands and on any islands that choose to join the Japanese Constitutional Republic. --------- I think Ross or Archi would be capable of playing NPC controlled countries. I think they know how awesome Japan is. :P The Japanese brought you nice cars, sushi, culture, and the Wii.
  14. The JMSDF has an official strength of 46,000 personnel (currently around 45,800 personnel), operating 119 major warships, including 20 submarines, 53 destroyers and frigates, 29 mine warfare ships, 9 patrol craft and 9 amphibious ships (total displacement of approx. 432,000 tons) ----------------- Two submarines are being laid down this half-year (this is actually planned in real life), and five more are being planned the next half year. The Japanese government also asks to purchase an aircraft carrier from the United States.
  15. Japan extends a hand of cooperation with the nations of Europe, provided that they look the other way when Japan is annexing all the countries in South-East Asia.
  16. Nooooo, I was about to annex that. :P Oh wellz, much better to be friends. ----- Japan extends a warm hand of friendship towards China and advises them to annex Mongolia.
  17. Oh yah, here are the rankings for top most powerful navies in order: American, Russian, Chinese, British, Japanese, French
  18. Japan suggests that India expands in the other direction, because Japan is much more capable of fighting a sustained war than India. Japan begins inciting revolts by Chinese citzens against their government covertly, so that they can join Japan in the future. Meanwhile Japan begins mobilization of its armed forces to 500,000 soldiers which should take three to four years. Construction of naval forces is increased and anti-air craft defences are being built, especially several miles around major cities. Mather, what benefits would we have from Siro Temp?
  19. Japan extends a hand of friendship to India, the world's largest democracy. Japan suggests that India can conquer the Middle East. (So is there a moderator or is it mob rule?)
  20. Grim, you can't take over a country until five days after you announce it. Oooooh, China is open. Excellent, no rivals in Asia. Well, I guess Rocco is a rival. Even though he's attacked me so many times on the old Hegemony, I'm going to trust him anyways. :) -------- Oh, have bioweapons been banned? Please tell me they have been.
  21. The USA does pay for much of Japan's defences. Japan still has a significant force, not to mention they're helping with Iraq and Afghanistan. ---- The emporer of Japan has declared his support for a new policy: The Pacific Rim Cooperation Sphere. All nations touching the Pacific may choose to join Japan, which is now the Japanese empire. Everyone can keep their customs and elect their rulers, if they give power to the Japanese empire for foreign affairs.
  22. In which my plan is to install figure heads into the South-East Asian countries. With your support Grim, we could become the Uber Asian Confederacy. To Sere, Japan has a military. About 150,000 efficient and technologically advanced troops, with most people below the age of 30 having received military training. And I'll ask again, who's the moderator in this game? Or is it like the original Hegemony?
  23. The other nations have stronger armies, but I'm sure Japan could defeat them with their navy (due to their industrial might). I could also install puppet rulers. Besides, The US was not willing to kill everyone in Vietnam. If only they were a bit more aggressive and nuclear bombed Hanoi (I believe that is the capital of North Vietnam).
  24. Errrr, I'll see what we can do tomorrow. :)
  25. Oh yes, all Japanese citizens (starting in 1989) have been trained in middle and high school in combat for three months. That doesn't seem like much, but it means the young population is already trained in basic warfare. The military (professional) numbers around 150,000 and is one of the technologically superior as well as efficient militaries in the world. So maybe instead of having to do all this research, we can take all these countries at face value.
