You start as a microbe, then you evolve into a bigger microbe with points. After that you evolve into an aquatic animal, and then you can choose to go on land or not and acquire sentience. Sorta like Spore. The front can explain in detail. -Microb The people elevate you to the status of demi-god, but it leads them into conflict with a few old-timers who still believe that Archi is the only true power. It's because we keep trying to apply philosophy to mathematics. Mathematics is only truly mathematics if every step builds off of an irrefutable base, like 1 + 1 = 2, since that is by definition.

That's not true. Dividing by 0 leads to undefined, because basically every value could be "true". ------ Philosophically you're correct, but mathematically you're still dividing by 0. You're supposed to not know that you are dividing by 0, but you are dividing by 0 because I just proved that x = 0 in the first equation.

You can still subtract by the variable x if it is 0, but you cannot divide by it. 2x = x Let's test if it works 2(0) = 0 0 = 0 2x = x Dividing by x is not possible because x equals 0. The first time I did it, it's legitimate because X - X = 0. So basically you get 2x = x Subtract x from both sides x + x - x = 0 Combining like terms gives you x = 0 ------------------- Dividing by 0 is possible, but it gives you the answer undefined. Meaning you cannot use it in an equation that way.

You're bending the context. 2x = x is true if and only if x = 0. Now to prove x = 0 2x = x Subtract x, the variable, not the number 0 x = 0, proving x = 0. Meanwhile, the slope of the line that goes straight up and down is undefinied...because. Slope is defined as y/x, or rise over run. In this case the rise is either infinitely positive or negative, but the point is that it is infinite. The line doesn't change its x coordinate, so that the slope formula becomes infinity/0. This means that the slope is undefined, because dividing something by 0 does not make it 0. On the contrary, a line with slope 0 would be horizantal and parallel to the x axis. The line above was slope undefined and parallel to the y axis.

Actually X/0 is undefined. You can't apply logic to mathematics like that. On a graph, basically it would be an up and down straight line. Okay Archi, tell me this. If a line goes straight up and down, what is its slope?
