  1. I dropped mine with Zogre Disease, just thieve the coffins outside of the tomb and you should get it soon enough. ~Sirus PS-The Fremmennik Diary also has you recharge at the Rellekka obelisk.
  2. Stews are probably your best bet. Also remember that Stats return to their normal level at 1 point per minute. If you time it right, it would be just over 3 minutes. Ummm... trying to think of some other stat reducers.... Zogre Disease maybe? (I'd get some Stat Restore Pots [or even Ciders] as well, just in case it goes down too far) ~Sirus
  3. Tip It's guide says Since it mentions 2 churches (Monastary and Wine Church) I'd guess that it could be either one. Try searching for socks in the Monastary. (And the monk you kill is one that appears, not ones that are normal enemies around there). ~Sirus
  4. Kenshin, thank you so much for asking this. I was thinking the same thing the other day, but it left my mind as I was preoccupied with other skills and quests. ~Sirus
  5. It's you KISS. If you do go Ivy, grab a Strung Rabbit's foot for profit. It increases the amount of nests you get, and since you wont be getting logs from Ivy anyways... ~Sirus
  6. Dude, its 125 xp. Is 1 prayer level gonna screw up your character development that much? Besides, the ring only gets good with #3, which requires Dragon Slayer which pops up up your Def and Str levels (not to mention Atk and Mag from getting the 32 QP) ~Sirus
  7. For Prayer Potions, have you ever considered the Wrench to extend the amount healed? ~Sirus
  8. Some stats would be nice... Personally, I'm lvl 85, and just finished Smoking Kills. I was assigned Pyrefiends when trying to rack up some quick slayer points and I just went there with a dd and a inventory of salmon and did fine. But thats a pretty high level for killing Pyrefiends, so probably doesn't apply to you. Your best bet is to to get the highest mag. defense (leather) you can get. ~Sirus
  9. You learn how to get in from the Ali Cat, IIRC... I should be more confident since I did it two days ago, but I just blew right past that part (it was the fighting of the final boss that was a pain for me). ~Sirus PS-Make sure you let the rope down while you're on the plateau. Makes return trips and other quests (Scarabas) a lot easier.
  10. Don't forget that the ring of recoil is the other damager at work, and is also members. Good luck doing this on f2p at all, despite the QP requirement. ~Sirus
  11. Or rummaging the skeletons by the waterfiends. To add, I've read before that you can run away from the Barbarian Spirit and still complete the diary (the lighting of the pyre is the important part) ~Sirus
  12. As far as this update goes, the icons only apply to beginners quests (those in the Lumbridge/Draynor area that the 'Job NPCs' can tell you about). ~Trent
  13. That's what I was saying in a Mirc channel, we do all this for the fremmy and lunar people, and they still throw you off the island for not having a seal, especially for players like you grieving widows where's the sympathy right? that's the reward I was hoping for no more seal of passage, my beloved astrid (that's her name right? lol) got taken from me who I havent talked to since thrones of misc in 2004 or 5 and I get a new axe I need a new npc e-bridge now and a seal of passage because Babe took it off me during the quest@@ :( My guess is that No Seal of Passage will be the reward for the Fremennik Elite Diary. Any word on Ancient bones for Ecto-worship? Also, it'd be worth mentioning that Rune Mysteries also got the icon update, but no extra rewards. It appears that the quest items (like those for Earnest that you can still get) also have the icons. ~SIrus
  14. Something's new with the NPCs that deal with Lumbridge quests. They have icons following their names, so far I've only seen a few: Chef's hat: (Cook's Assistant) -Lumbridge Cook -Gillie the Milk Maid (Sheap Shearer) -Fred the Farmer -Black sheep RC symbol? (Rune Mysteries?) -Duke Horacio Also, Cook's and Sheep's quests give some extra rewards. 500gp and sardines, and 2kgp IIRC. Those who have completed them already can talk to the NPCs to get them. Any other updates like this that I've missed? (I was only on for 30 min this morning, the computer I'm on now hates RS for some reason) ~Sirus
  15. Shepherman's right. If you get inside the fortress (bronze med, iron chain) there's an altar to restore your prayer on the second level. You have to walk through a door to get between the altar, but each time that you do one of them gets aggressive. Also, I recently found out that you can kill black knights on f2p, and it still counts for your White Knight rating. ~Trent
  16. Ahah, you two are geniuses! I totally forgot about the quest journals. ~Trent
  17. I've had my RS account for 7 years. But I often take long breaks, the most recent being 3 years ago (p2p) to a month ago(f2p again). I plan on getting membership again soon (2 weeks, after finals probably), but I'm looking to review on what happens in some of the major quest lines. Are there any video guides (Let's Plays) that show what NPCs say, and not just show going from point A-B? If not videos, can you recommend a site that has text guides that would give me the same? Thanks so much in advance. I've always loved the TipIter community (was a forum member once, but misplaced acc/pw). ~Sirus
