The Fight Caves - TzTok-Jad The Event An event with a slight difference - The Fight Pits update is just around the corner, and access to it requires a fire cape to be surrendered! Join the Tip.it Monster Hunting Team for live help and guidance as you make your fight caves run. TMHT members outside the caves will be on hand to help perfect your set-up before you enter, hopefully giving you your best shot at completion! Either enter the Tzharr area from the Karamja volcano, or enter by dialling to the BLP fairy ring. The Boss This event is a solo challenge for each attendee. Any gear is fine, kills should be fast anyway :) You might want to bring a weapon switch for her second form though, such as a crossbow with bolts.

Kalphite Queen We will meet at the Shantay pass on a world that will be announced in the friends chat before the event. When the event starts, we will run through the desert to the Kalphite lair and all the way to the Kalphite Queen to begin the fight. (and a bit of a challenge) The Bosses Kalphite Queen: She is level 333, has two forms, and can deal high damage with both magic and ranged. The first will use Protect from Magic and Ranged, so it is recommended to use melee to attack. The second form uses Protect from Melee, so it is recommended to bring a ranged weapon or Verac's armour set to deal damage to her during the second form. King Black Dragon: He is level 276 and has freezing, poison, and dragonfire attacks, in addition to a standard melee attack. An anti-fire method such as an Antifire potion or Super antifire potion is REQUIRED to fight him. Inventory & Equipment Kalphite Queen Set-ups should emphasise high melee defence and players should use the Protect from Magic prayer. The set-up below uses the Verac's barrows set to deal good damage to both forms of the Queen. Higher level players may wish to bring weapon switches or the void set to deal higher damage. Got my OU assignments done today and they're ready to send off tomorrow :D Really enjoying it sofar. Wrt Rune, haven't really done much aside from get back into keying a bit, mostly to try get draz his hood finally :) Hovering around the 20-25 min mark, though a few nice sub20s today. HOWEVER the real reason I wanted to make a blogpost is this new trailer is out today :D :D :D CANNOT WAIT.

Gonna get to less than 1m to 99 tomorrow and then leave it there, effigies etc. 320k to 98 Theiving so that's happening sometime tomorrow when I get time away from my assignments :) also no 99s for a while unless I get bored and decide to grab hunter or thief. No real biggie if I lose out on effigy xp, specially since its only going to be about 4m agil xp worth of effigycrafting :)

Bandos trip and arma trip, both of which were dry :( Did the new tutorial today and it was great fun :D just a shame its not available to non-members really as a trial of sorts. Also this: 49 Krees total Managed to fix the fps problems on my pc today, and shot right back up to 25 fps for a fair while on max settings! Brilliant! Then I did the tutorial at about 8-15fps on the same settings, thought that wasn't really a biggie - its graphically intense. Then arma trip tonight, 8fps on minimum... ah well. Was good while it lasted, but don't think I'll end up playing properly until Jagex gets the fps problems in order.

Yeah bandos kinda sucked for drops today, though was a fun trip. Also I got to snipe Rohan, so that's a plus :D So anyway, me, ezk and draz went to arma tonight for a bit of fun. Two kills in: First arma drop I've actually seen :) And then! What makes it even better is that thanks to the armour redesign (which imo looks pretty nice) these sold for nice amount over mid :D Total profit: I also nabbed an elite clue off a mini, so that's the plan now :D Finally a delicious arma trip :D ~7.2m split each and 62 kills total

So me and Ian went to bandos this morning for a short trip :) 3 ovls, 32 kills on low-pop world and left with WAYYY too many supplies, so next time it'l definitely be 4 or 5. Oh, and these: Nothing that special, but was nice to get back into it. I ACTUALLY ENJOYED BANDOS FOR ONCE :D Oh, and an effigy for me too :) Alternating tanking worked nicely, and good to get Ezk in the firing line for once :twisted:
