I cannot even begin to say how much I regret ever creating my first character. If I could meet my alternate-dimension-self, the one who never set their online foot into Runescape, I would see a "me" who did not get hooked on RS, then got lead to online game after online game. I would see someone who actually has/had a social life and acing elementary and high school, and getting uber grades for an uber university. To anyone who has just stepped into the world of RS, quit now, change for PW to something you'll never remember, same with your recovery info, find Runescape's website IP and server IPs and add them to your HOSTS file (refer to Google) and live the life you nearly destroyed.

RS music is lame. It makes me want to go on a mass murder rampage but unfortunately RS is a non-free-pk-anywhere-you-want game so I usually end up switching over to a game where I can. Or. I mute the RS music and fire up some rock/techno/whatever I seem to have unknowingly downloaded.

Hi, I'm not new as in I've registered quite a while ago (a long time ago), but new as in new to the community. Just really bored here and wasting my time around here. I'll probably forget to check on these forums for another month or so, but oh well. Feels strange to come back to a community that's gone through more facelifts than Michael Jackson.

First few sentences of the news and I already knew it was an April Fools Joke. Not because I knew it was April Fools Day (I actually forgot what day it was - thats how busy I am with schoolwork), but because of the wording used to describe the supposedly cabbage-themed event. About... 100M. As for *right now* Im guessing somewhere around 10M, give or take 5M.

Selling 21 green masks, 9 red masks, 5 blue masks (rough estimates, +/- 3 masks) for 100K each a few weeks after the mask drops happened. Small profit at the time, but enormous losses today.

I bought my blue party hat back then (which I still have) purely for looks, but then again, they were only about 3M at time of purchase. Oh well thats -1 blue party hat out of circulation.

Buying a cheap rare item (anything but a Santa Hat), quit for a couple of years, then sell said cheap rare item, which by the time of sale, won't be "cheap" anymore. I'm still at the "quit for a couple of years" stage atm.

If Jagex ever does start the creation of an RS3, they should not let players know until they have some real work done, such as a ready-to-go beta test or something. Just announcing "hey people, RS3 is in planning stages at the moment. Stay tuned for more updates!" will make people impatient and will bring on overinflated expectations. Take the release of RS2 for example. Over-hyped and stuff, and when RS2 came for real, a large portion of the RS community collectively said "what the hell."

Very few people know the true meaning of "Asian." When most people think of the word "asian" they think of East Asians. Other asians, such as South Asians (India, etc) arent covered by the term "asian". And yes you can tell Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Vietnamese people from each other. It isn't that hard if you can pick out the features of each group. Personally, Vietnamese and Korean are the easiest to identify, Chinese/Japanese are slightly more difficult.

I would have wanted Bunny Ears over Scythes. But the Ears were dropped when I wasn't home. A lot of people also missed out on the Ear drops and complained about it, Jagex counter-complained saying that they couldn't stay around and manually drop items for everyone, as if staff members were manually doing the drops. Weird thing was past drops occured throughout the day in an automated process. Going off topic ftw.

Grade 11 math, couldnt remember how to find the sine, cosine, and tangent of an angle. So I wrote all the equations on my calculator. Then later I remembered about something called "SOHCAHTOA"... after the trigonometry unit was finished. Hell I thought "Sohcahtoa" was the person who invented trigonometry or something, like John A. Sohcahtoa.

I always roleplay as a noob when (and if) I logon... Except it isnt very convincing because everyone can see my [usually] red combat level, and my trademark blue party hat sign is a dead giveaway that Im not a noob. But thanks for the tips. Noob long and prosper.

r2h and some loot after stepping in the middle of a drop transfer... it was worth a crapload back then. "05slover" is the drop trader, quite obviously.

So far to date, Passion of the Christ is the only movie that has made me cry. I'm usually unfazed in sad/painful moments in other movies but not this one.
