Dungeons & Dragons
Horribly confusing. I'm out.

Delta V
^Best summary as of yet.

Delta V
Meh. He annoyed us, we annoyed him. He called the admins on us, they annoyed us too. All he had to do was present a reasonable argument as to why he should stay when he was making the players unhappy, and there wouldn't have been a problem. Did he do that?

Forum Reshuffle
Fair summary, Edel. New life is more likely if it's a separate forum, and if it's deleted my suggestion for a sticky explaining the concept would allow those potentially interested to start it back up.
-
Delta V
Because, he's Rocco. A bit more of him is generating flames every day, he's better at catching fire than Mather.
-
Delta V
Edel, agreeing with the admin does nothing if they're completely unrelated to the current situation. I believe Rocco was referring to Delta V. EDIT: Ninja'd. But seriously, about the Hegemony thing? I never actually understood what happened there.

Forum Reshuffle
It seems we're doomed to see each other as enigmas, we Tavernites and you Administrators. We both work in ways the other cannot comprehend.

Delta V
As an outsider, what I saw was Hex trying to kick out a player before the game got going at a point when no one had a military, even him, and later he didn't listen to the mod and essentially went AFK during a war. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Delta V
IMHO, the admins should stop worrying about defending the troublemaker and instead turn to things like "The Last One to Post Wins!" which has to be the most disturbing thread on the entire forum.

The Back Room
I know it wasn't originally. What was the guy's name, Sparrowhawk? The guy with the homicidal shadow. I read those books a while ago, they're ancient.
-
The Back Room
Nope. And, Earthsea is an anime?

Hopefully Poetic
Simple and short, I almost hesitate to give the little poem it's own thread. Hope you don't mind, and maybe I'll recycle this for future works. Is it against the rules to bump a thread that has undergone a significant edit like a new poem? That world full of angels, of which the pastors preach That world for the faithful, many feet will never roam That world's blinding brilliance mortal eyes cannot yet see Will forever paint this lonely place in shades of monochrome

Pwnage Poems
Awesome. Was the first from personal experience? Not something you've done, but a familiar concept for you? I know I've wanted to try the palm-to-the-nose from Ender's Shadow on some of the jerks in my school before. :P

Delta V
It's the same kind of thing as "what would you bring with you to a deserted island" or "what would you need to survive the apocalypse" and we all know you've done the second.

The Back Room
Ooh, yeah. I remember now. My channels are Discovery, Comedy Central, FX, Animal Planet, SyFy, The Science Channel, The Military Channel, Natural Geographic Channel, History International, BBC, and whatever channels That's 70's Show and Avatar are on.
-
The Back Room
Jetix, seem to recall that. What channel was it on?
-
The Back Room
Fantasia. Response to that, Rocco? And Nickleodeon appeals to most anyone who grew up with it because it's quite simply a brainblaster. You can stare at the screen for hours when there's nothing else on, because your mind doesn't register any of it and just kinda goes into stasis. To be honest, I don't mind on boring days. Helps pass the time. And then, there are some good shows like Avatar that you can actually really enjoy and get into.

Don't eat fish, don't eat bird. I'm a landitarian.

Retech, you're assuming people are smart or have access to gum in the first place.

The Back Room
What I'm saying is, Disney used to have a much wider target audience and managed to please even those outside of the intended audience. The Lion King, Aladdin, Mulan, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who didn't enjoy those. Right now it feels like Disney is picking up the scraps things like Twilight leave in their wake and forcing glitter, glam, and poisonous lead paint onto 3-year-old girls.
-
The Back Room
Pah, you're one to talk on the matter. You don't even chew gum, and if you did people would be tossing it at your feet and bowing.
-
The Back Room
What Disney "is" iis worse than it used to be. Meh.

The Back Room
Hehe for awhile I was that sixth grader. Except replace insanely sugary candy with gum and you've got the basic idea. Oh god, don't get me started on the gum monopoly... You have to have friekin' underground connections and half a fortune just to get a piece in a pack. And you can't get anything for a soul these days, I won the souls of at least five classmates in a game of Blackjack with a bet of 10 cents.

Napoleonic Hegemony
What does that mean?
