Yes. According to the wiki, fireflies don't exist, and I've harvested a crudload of those butterfly gather point things without getting a single firefly. EDIT: God, he's a distractable one.

The one I posted before you posted, then again right before you posted the song...

The Back Room
Not quite, I'm a good combo breaker. Anywho, answer my question? EDIT: Erm, that WAS addressed to you Earth... In reference to my last post...

The Back Room
That's all well and good, Earth, but (and not to be annoying) can you tell me how to get fireflies in MH?
-

Happy B-day Edel! And before I go ask this question elsewhere, does anyone know how the hell to get fireflies in Monster Hunter?!
-
The Back Room
Just got Monster Hunter Tri! And Ross, the classic controller pro is THE EXACT SAME THING as a Gamecube controller, just newer and more expensive and necessary to be connected to a cruddy Wii remote.

Dwarf fortress
There are only five known methods to kill a Bronze Colossus - 1) Engulf it in Magma. 2) Cause a cave-in on it's head. 3) Blast it with copious amounts of Dragonfire. 4) Send in lots of hammer/mace dwarves and pray. 5) Get an adventurer to throw a Fluffy Wambler at it's head.

Edel, this IS the off topic thread you know. We (well, Steve) made it for discussion like this. With the Tavern going as as slow as it is right now, maybe you could, oh, I don't know, maybe not outsource what few words are being exchanged?

Tales of Rimerose
Alright, people still here?

Tales of Rimerose
Ok, I have to help around the house a bit before I do this. I would also like to have one more person.

Tales of Rimerose
Sooo no one interested? If I'm gonna do a session it'll have to be in a bit, but are people interested?
-
The Back Room
It's props an XBox and PS3 game, might not have a computer version at all.

Tales of Rimerose
Oook, sorry for the hiatus. Seems like we might need a nice game to pass the time, for those of us who are taking a short break from Dwarf Fortress/whatever else and whoever has been bored for the last few weeks. Session starting as soon as three people post, might be have to stop in a while and continue this afternoon. While modding I will likely be playing Mabinogi and possibly listening to a loop of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2275cEn6vQ&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6JTvzrpBy0 Same thing seems to go in Demon's Souls, though they're only a worry to teammates who expected any assisstance in the fight since there's no friendly fire. The best option is hooking up an old gamecube controller to the Wii. That's what I do. We are the Tavern. You shall be assimilated!

Bah. Stupid discussion anyways. __________ Completely off topic: Ross, have you seen the trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution? It... looks... AWESOME! Like a combination of Splinter Cell and Heavy Rain... though I haven't played either of those. :P

Bah, I'm asuming an idealistic court system that always has the necessary evidence. We all know that's never going to happen, and corporal punishment is unlikely to say the least in America, I was just saying what I thought those who were abusive deserved. And the corporal punishment was only meant for physically abusive individuals.

Feed them to the zombie carp, then immerse them in magma. But, as I already said, their identities and crimes should be made highly public information like that of sexual criminals. Depending on the local society, I would advocate different levels of punishment. Someone might be able to handle 30 lashes, but if their neighbours stone them afterwards... Yeah. I think moderate corporal punishment should be an option if requested by the victim, but I wouldn't advocate jailtime so long as the community is completely aware. They deserve to have their lives made as crappy as they made the lives of their former partners. Maybe even have the information removed from public view but still accessible after an amount of time equal or proportional to the time the person was in an abusive relationship, and show the person just how slow people can be to forget abuse...

It pertains to my opinion of Grim's post, you ninja'd me.

I disagree, love should be the ultimate expression of trust and empathy. Those who abuse the concept of love, shattering their promises and the feelings of their companion, deserve to be treated on the same level as sexual criminals. Everyone, not just those close to them, should know what they did and despise them for it.

Should be blacklisted. That way the wider public can keep a look out, and they can easily find like-minded individuals. Abuse that doesn't provoke guilt deserves retribution.

The Back Room
That sounds like an awesome game. What are the spirit/infinite combos and what's cluster shot? Also, if I were to join your little team, what role would you need the most?
