  1. *sigh* Whatever.
  2. I understand the desire for a challenging dungeon, Retech, but try to make it logically plausible as well. This game may not have a coherent map, or any rules whatsoever, but it's not "The Arena."
  3. And Retech, you didn't answer my question on the logic of this situation.
  4. ... Boulders and giant spears are "light?"
  5. I'm running through that door which is TOO SMALL FOR THE TROLL TO GET THROUGH and going through the walls that AREN'T IMMUNE TO GEOMANCY, DESPITE BEING STONE, FOR SOME INANE REASON.
  6. GAH! THIS MAKES NO SENSE! The troll runs in, attacks Earth halfway through the room. He then runs to attack me. Earth fires arrows at the troll's eyes which miss, because the troll is facing me. I fire light magic at the troll's eyes, which miss because the troll is now turning to face Earth. Even though it is RIGHT NEXT TO ME, I can't touch it before it halfway crosses the room, turns around, and tosses Earth halfway across the room into me. I dislike this battle.
  7. So the troll did a complete 360, avoiding my light spells and Earth's arrows? Earth's behind him (Earth was in the middle of the room, I was on the far side) and I'm in front. Anywho, I jump on to the troll's back with my armour spikes extended to cling on, and turn one of my remaining broadswords and my spear into a long, thick stake which I ram into the back of the troll's head (it will be driven farther in if he tries to fall back and crush me). I also turn another of the broadswords (do I have two or six?) into a pair of daggers which I use to slash as the troll's throat.
  8. I'm on the other side of the darned room! I run to the nearest wall and sink in with geomancy (not running into it hard enough so that I would injure myself if I can't sink in), while casting blinding light spells behind me at the troll's eyes (normally they're nocturnal in most literature, so it should injure it significantly. If I fail in any of this, I rip out the iron spear with geomancy, turn it into a (thick, but tapering at the edges) serrated disk, which I begin manipulating to slash at the troll's face and *ahem* nether regions, as well as using the homing singals to draw the metal out of the troll's body. I also extend my armour spikes, hopefully increasing my protection.
  9. Wait, it's a chasm! There is no ceiling!
  10. I try to create a pit underneath it. I then bring spike up from the ground, hopefully impaling it's feet, and down from the ceiling, impaling anything else. I dampen my, Earth's, and Hex's hearing with sound magic, then create a large sonic boom near the Troll's head. @ Grim: I can fly away, if need be.
  11. ... Absorbed...? Better get those back when I kill it. I form the iron orbs into the largest spear I can, and propel it as fast as I can, guided by magic, at the troll's head. I begin bringing down pillars and boulders of stone from the ceiling to crush it, and try turning the ground beneath it into mud, slowing it and possibly entrapping it.
  12. Anything that comes through that door gets shard-blasted using all my excess steel and the steel orbs. Specifically, shards that are pointed on both ends, serrated, and about a foot long each. I shall call this attack technique: Shardstorm!
  13. Well, if it was for a thousand years, don't you think it would have been a magical sleep, where he could have magically followed current world events?
  14. Wait a sec, just thought of this... Wouldn't destroying Caster and the Ivory Tower, not to mention killing all those people, help the Liches? Ach, ich bin confuzzled.
  15. If the golem is already dead, I continue through the opening, wings folded but ready to lash out and smash anything that attacks. I also turn the orbs into a Whirling Wall (spinning razor-shards of metal) and extend the spike on my armour.
  16. I'm underground with an unconscious gargoyle, fleeing from angry gargoyles aboveground.
  17. Session today?
  18. I know, just pointing it out. So I have the golem with me, right? I stab an allomantic spike through it's forehead which I create from my excess steel. I then begin traveling underground towards Jen's mountain, flying underground by maintaining the bubble around myself.
  19. I use geomancy to sink myself and the small golem under the ground in a bubble with several tiny airholes. I send out spikes of geomancy to the surface, hopefully impaling several gargoyles. Also, just so you count it in Ross, I was wearing full body (with helmet) thick steel plate armour (especially around the life crystal) that is suspended about an inch away from my body. @ Earth: I have 6 high-quality steel broadswords.
  20. Which two? Me and you, or Poseidon and you, or Grim and you?
  21. I pour on the speed using aeromancy and sound magic, snatch up one of the unconscious golems, and fly away as fast as I can, turning the orbs, along with 4 of my broadswords, my iron orbs, and all my excess steel into a temporary "Whirling Wall" of metal shards around myself.
  22. Hey Earth, we can get you all of those regents! Baelinum we can buy from another player, a blood-soaked skull we can get from Poseidon (heheheh), the gargoyle wing I can give you fairly soon, and the shadowing feather Jen got from Mather, and we can probably get it from the underworld.
