Hey Earthsage, when I'm done here, do you want to duel? Non-lethal magic only, of course. What should we, and the other players, bet? @ Rocco: Just like cakes and ogres! I wonder if they have chocolate golems?

The Non-Magical Arena
Ooh, idiot fight!

Items? What items?

Dungeoneering
I ask about altering my body to make it easier to fly with metal wings. Once that is explained, I ask about altering hearing, vision, and other essential basics of transmog. Tech, Earthsage has an uber forge that was created when he tried to reforge the rusted sword he got from the uber-golem dungeon and it exploded.

I call out a greeting to the man, and say that I have come to seek knowledge of transmogrification.

Or his head equipment. Something that amplified blows taken to the head, causing critical damage to the brain cells.

Dungeoneering
I look for the transmog expert.

Eh, whatever. I climb up, trying to create handholds with geomancy and deflect the wind with aeromancy/sound magic. If I'm about to fall, I turn the steel orbs into spikes which I drive into the mountainside, and I also extend the spikes on my armour.

Dungeoneering
I go up any way I can.

Ooh, the frigid one sounds interesting... Anywho, I heal, fix my armour, and get up. I form an aeromancy shield (if I formed as strong a one as I did in the underworld, I should be able to do just as well here) and fly some more if it's possible, if not I use a geomancy tunnel up the mountain to the dwelling of the mage. @Earth: That's allomancy, not transmog.

Dungeoneering
That's why I would want one of them.

Dungeoneering
Hey, Rocco, when you find out what those staffs do... Maybe I could give you access to the underworld? Jen did say it was an uber dungeon with uber rewards.

I travel to the transmogrification expert's house via flight.

Glorious! Inglorious! Indeed, Grim, indeed

Interesting. I try to fix it by amplifying the armour's healing magic, since it probably has a sort of residual memory of how my body was before and might be able to return it to that. I get up, look at the address book, and go to the transmog expert's house.

Nice one, Techy. Wonder if I can put the video in my sig? =)

Dungeoneering
No, but thanks for the correction Grim.

Se la ve. I try to use transmogrification to alter my body structure slightly so that it is more resistant to the stress caused by the wings. I carefully look up the body structures of flying animals and humans beforehand, so that the transmogrification is more likely to go well and have less negative effects.

I try flying, and also attempt to figure out a more effective design for the wings (or possibly another flying apparatus). If the flying is significantly more difficult, I take Earth's life crystal (the one I gave him when I beat the golems) and use it to power the wings. I then fly/walk to Ikana and begin researching possible wing structures that would cause less stress.

I do not understand, we're talking about pastries, not an anchor in his pants.

Dungeoneering
[garden tool], hum. I suppose. That reminds me, I do believe that there are a few lifestones that I lent out that I could reclaim... Sure, take the lifestone. Oh, and do you have any idea how I could fix the infernal stress caused by these wings? I then go to Earthsage's grotto... What's with the censor?

Dungeoneering
Oh, for heaven's sake... Do you know where I can find someone who can teach me such things? I would help you in exchange for your help, but Liches are a bit out of my league. One nearly killed me and my bar patrons while I was defending them from your sister. To be honest, I'm mostly helping her because I enjoy slaying demons and will no doubt find some worthwhile rewards. Her alignment quite honestly conflicts with mine.

Oh, and Earth, that quote isn't that funny.

I sigh, and begin looking for Jen's sisters, asking about offensive telepathy and a perma-heal spell. I tell them that I am assisting their sister in an epic quest of repentance, journeying through the underworld to confront the great Demon itself for Jen's sake. I say I need assistance in the form of magical tutoring to continue.
