  1. I follow the creature, and form metal wings on the back of my steel armour, which are powered via the two life crystals I imbed in the shoulder-guards of my armour.
  2. End of Day One: Food: Appliances: Items: NPCs: Players:
  3. I shrug, and then begin forming magically retractable steel spikes on my armour and shield. I also try to determine a method to make metal wings that can actually fly.
  4. Sweetness. That picture was the several-story-tall "Tower Knight" from Demon's Souls. Annoying as all hell to fight. You have to roll in all directions to avoid being impaled or shield-smashed, get behind it and slash at it's heels, avoid getting clipped in the head by its metal heel when it jumps back, and run like hell if you're attacking from a range to avoid being torn apart by its magic lance spell. I've died fighting it several times, and I'm a fairly good player. Anywho, I start walking around to see what else there is in the area.
  5. I ask it what it's carving I try to form a tower shield out of the steel bars I have.
  6. "Cerebus, Ciacco, or Plutus you be? Pray tell great being, shall you befriend me?" If he tries to attack, I send steel shards at his eyes, head, and stomach.
  7. Oh good. In "The Inferno," the third circle is filled with fetid, freezing slush and has an incessant snowstorm. Kinda like your fortress would've been like if you had kidnapped my patrons to practice Bone Magic. I try to form wards around my nose that won't allow in the stench. I put on my steel armour, take one of my broadswords in one hand and Jen's staff in the other, then put my steel orbs back in orbit and walk out, preparing a blinding light spell. This is actually a lot like Demon's Souls, which I got yesterday. (It won the Gamespot Game of the Year award, and is the most controller-tossingly hard game currently in existence. It gets harder every time you die, 'cause your stuff gets damaged, you lose all your currency, and the enemies become more powerful.)
  8. All considered, the passing out probably isn't that bad, after all, that's how Canto V ended. I try to wake up, and immediately construct wards against the cold.
  9. Ah. I bring back Jen's staff, my quarterstaff, and all my steel. I reform the steel in the shape of the knights that I took it from. If that doesn't do anything, I put all my stuff in my personal hammerspace, release my air-deflection wards, and leap into the air over the fire.
  10. Oh, lovely. I teleport to the entrance of the underworld, leave all my stuff there, then teleport back and try to move on.
  11. I ask God for help with the puzzle.
  12. I start poking the stupid fire with my staff (the ice one).

I start off on the path. I stun and loot anything I come across, and try to avoid being seen. I go as fast as possible to reach Kimako. Gotta go, Kimako can control me.
  14. Last Post of Day One: I've decided on a new system: every twelve responses to actions I post will count as one day. Also, from now on, the Magical Prowess system will be replaced by a "Mana Level" which is increased daily based on a roll made for each individual character. This can also be raised by absorbing magical energy. I also am updating the state of affairs, tomorrow of course. It's just too late right now.
  15. "Yes I shall!" I thenpush the weapons point-first back down at Jen.
  16. Nexaduro pulls the allomantic metals Larasium, iron, and steel from the air, swallows them, and does an allomantic push-jump into the air. He then pulls the sea of weapons up towards him, while also pulling on the ceiling. Which is now metal.

"I'll take that, unless you can wire up something like that to my katanas." Varius heads over to Duty base, and asks if he can accompany the others to the HQ.
  18. Eh, maybe not. By I can think of a few fun things involving lots of metal and fire magic... =)
  19. Teehee. I start chucking weapons at the ceiling, killing whatever said magic wasn't allowed.

Well, my first choice would be active camo of some sort. I am also a bit of a fan of melee combat, as you no doubt can tell from my two katanas, knife bandolier, and the 4 concealed hunting and throwing knives you may have noticed that I have hidden on my person.
  21. I break off a table leg and stab it at Hex's heart, yelling: "DIE YOU DAMNED SPARKLY VAMPIRE!"
  22. There is a large explosion, and a young, pale man with brown hair falls onto the combatants.

I walk back to the Ecologist base, and tell them I assisted Enigma and Kimako on the mission. I ask what they know about Bloodsucker camouflage.
