  1. I remember how one of my friends planned a really smart way to scam people. I'm not sure if someone has done it or either heard of it, but it's an epic plan. He did this: First, he said armour trimming, in search for someone to fall. Then, when he got his "client" he said "How may I know this is not a scam??" He then said follow me, and went to an anvil. He showed him through trade that he had an addy plate, a gold bar, and a hammer. What he did was this: he also had a bronze bar on his inventory, and he smithed a dagger. Then, through trade, he showed an addy gold trimmed plate. The dude fell, and gave his armour. He did it a lot of times, and one he said he had like 10 addy sets, 5 black sets, and 16 rune sets. The funny part is that, he got banned. Lol. Nice plan though, he checked every little part to make it the "perfect" scam.
  2. I just hate the new players that are "pures" and think that's the way it's meant to be played. I'm level 72, and I have my stats kinda balanced. I went to a PVP world because I almost never go, and there was a guy level 60 aprox. He said "Str lvl?" and I said 60. "OMG roflmao nub your str sux for yor levul!" (He said that thing literally), then he said his strength lvl was like 80, and he had 1 defence. Then we fought, and guess who won. During the fight I said to him "I'd rather hit a string of 10s than hit a 25 and then 5 0s." He safed when he was losing, but on the count time I could kill him :D So, the lesson is: Strength pures cannot fight a player with more than 50 defence.
  3. Uhm, Fletching. I may be free, but the cape I see by faaaaaaar every day is Fletching.
  4. I think they're kinda low, Really, for being the "best" weapon on the game, I think the requirements sohould be at least lvl 80-85+.
  5. Slayer cape, because HP can be leveled up without reaching 99 on the obvious skills (strength, attack, etc.) using controlled, ranged, and magic skills. But to reach slayer on 99 without any other 99 would be really complicated, because with all the monsters needed to kill you would get a lot of exp., plus, some skills need to be high.
  6. Bastard child, lol. What I think is that, the rants forum should be taken in count, first off, it should be where most imploding players get banned (At least on many forums I've been it's like this). Also, it should be seen to check improvements to the game. No one would post on the suggestions part "My suggestion is to eliminate the HP update. Pl0x".
  7. I was a bit bored, and I decided to read the Runescape forums. I like a lot the rants part, because people use to complain about things that aren't as... "important". Then, I came up with this thread: http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?129,130,15,60536672,goto,1 I cannot believe this has not been closed or anything plus, I cannot believe that Mods, that should check threads once in a while, haven't said anything about this. I'm starting to believe that the Runescape forum is not as important as I thought. If you pay close attention, you can see how everyone off-topics the topic, you can see in some threads that players insult Jagex and the threads hasn't been closed, etc. So, Runescape forums= fail.
  8. There is a way if your levels are a bit low. Go to the dungeon where there is the blurite mined for the A Knight's Sword quest. In there, there are level 28 hobgoblins. Kill them and collect the limpwurt roots, which are like 2.5k each. Pros: Almost always it is empty. Lvl 28 are easy to kill, so you may take little food. There is an altar nearby. With cabbage port you can get near to the Draynor bank, which is the nearest one. This is one of the best ways for F2P to make money without skilling. Cons: The bank is not "that" near. After a while you realize they are quite low leveled.
  9. Well, guess your right. I'll keep training :D
  10. I know that is through combat, but I mean, should I train strength a lot or something like that?
  11. So, today I was talking to a friend, and his hitpoints levels were a lot higher than mine, but his combat level was lower. My ranged, magic and prayer are lower than his, but my attack, strength and defence are a lot higher. I asked him, and he didn't really noticed.(Note: he is F2P) So, any good way to level "Constitution" considering that I'm a F2P?
  12. This is a really good guide, I'll use this to power level all my combat skills, starting with defence to avoid the waste of food and be able to train more, and then the rest of the skills. Once again, a really good guide.
  13. I agree except for the aggresively part, at least for f2p. The max hit for fire blast is 16, I think, and melee doesn't have a max hit, as you can always see melee fighters hitting like 20 or 22, and ranged is a bit between both, hitting about 18 but really fast. It's not really balanced, because a melee over a mage can hit about 6 or 8 damage difference, and rangers can hit 2 more than a mage aprox., but a lot faster.
  14. Today, I decided to go to the safe arena in wilderness as a mage, because I always see melee fighters and I though I could win. I thought wrong. My magic level is 59, so I went fighting a melee fighter that was near to my level, a level 69. So, I decided to strategize a lot, make use of the weaken-curse spells and the bind spells. So, the fight started, I quickly bind him, and fire blasted him, then he came running towards me and attacked me, so I kept running away, searched for obstacles, using bind, fire blast, and repeated. At some point, I ran out of space to run, and there weren't more obstacles to keep me protected, and he quickly slashed me to death. I realized that the space required for runes prevented me to have more food, and he had a lot of food. Frustrated then, I decided just to watch. I saw a high level ranger, aparently using mithril arrows, fighting a melee player. It appeared that he was winning, but again, the melee fighter won, because the ranged armor couldn't stand the scimitar, and the rune armor could stand the arrows. So, if melee fighters can win over mages and rangers, the combat triangle is isoceles, being the melee the corner that is higher, and the ranger and mages the to basal corners.
  15. Wow wow wow, there was really a function for the middle mouse button!? Really? I didn't ever knew about that... It didn't represent a problem at all being used to the LMB. However it may be nice to use it.
  16. For example? What - having the levels to complete a quest and get a quest cape/some other rewards! Oh, how could I forget, a skill cape! Easy EXP for other skills! Wow! Firemaking currently has almost no practical uses as I know of. For example equipping the hand cannon, getting additional prayer exp. burning pyre ships, the Inferno Daze. the inferno adze is irreverent because its only use is to train FM, and training FM so you can train FM doesn't make sense. Then, I give up. No wait, I know it's utilities! Imagine this scenario. You are in some place hunting some monsters, and you run out of food. You manage to get food nearby, but it's raw, and the only tree nearby is a yew tree. You can cut it, but if your firemaking level is low, you won't be able to light it, and you won't get your food cooked, and you will be forced to 1) Go away to get more food or 2) Get killed by some monster that roams there. The only problem is that this situation is like impossible to happen, or really hard to happen.
  17. That's because you're not training efficiently. Those skills are faster exp than you think. No, what I mean is that, there are lots of minigames that help to level really quick some skills. Like the penguin seek and hide, and other minigames that I still don't know. Because I know that it's posible to level quick, but anyway for members is still easier to level.

  19. I like it, looks cool. Mainly support it for reviving 2 skills: Firemaking and Smithing.
  20. How ironic. It's like saying "!$*@(#%(#% this is so unfair" then the next line saying "oh, it's really good". Wow wow wow, halt there. I'm not being THAT exagerated. And I never said it was unfair! You just cut my post to make it look bad. I think it's cool, because mages would be more powerful, even more than the classic melee fighter, but maybe just adding to much power to this side of the triangle would unbalance it again. And if it gets implemented it would never be as raw as it is now, it would obviously have some changes, and that is what I mean. It has to be refinated, that's all I meant. Mages wouldn't be overpowering melee fighters at all IMO. Instead of simply making a statement, why not back it up with evidence like overpowering DPS or scenarios showing overpowered combos of spells? I never attacked the part about it needing changes, did I? You're the one getting heated up. And by the way, it's "exaggerated" and "refined". Excuse my spelling, my native language is not english, is spanish, and I'm still learning and vocabulary is a pain in the butte. Yes, I guess you're right, but maybe we should just add a new dragon and clean the nests (?). Whatever was said, I keep my mind right as it was, it needs to be "REFINED" (thanks for the word ;) ), and I support it.
  21. Ah, yes, the old art of scam. Heh, I've just got scammed once, and it was one of my most epic adventures through Runescape. * Go to the end to read the summary. Long ago, in a time before trade-limits or Grand Exchange existed, there was a place, named "Varrock's West Bank", in which people used to trade their items through endless typing. Imagine the visual contamination, just like actual merchs clan, but with reasons. Trying to look through all the messages finding the precise one was complicated. "Wow grandpa, did you really traded items in that way? No one goes to that ruin you call a bank and trade items anymore! At least respectable people don't go trading items there!" Hahaha, yes, those old times were fantastic. So, I had just sold my big amount of coal, aproximately 1000 coal, or how you call it know, a "k". In those days, 1 coal costed 180 gp, and now they cost around 260gp. After all that effort, I used all my money to buy the parts I needed to complete my full rune set, and I bought a longsword, one of my favourite weapons. In those days, I was a young lvl 50 knight. A gullible young lvl 50 knight. I was leaving the bank when, outside of it, there was a man saying "1t3m c0mp3t1t10n, h1gh3st pr1c3 w1ns (item competition, highest price wins)". It looked a bit safe, you just had to show your item on a trade, and he compared it with your contender's item. Then, the winner got the contendor's item. I thought then, ok, my longsword should do it. I staked my longsword. And in a blink of an eye, he stole it. My contendor gave an Amulet Of Power, in which does days costed about 6000-7000 gp, not like now that they cost half. I started to say to him that I wanted my longsword back, and my contendor wanted his amulet. We kept on arguing until my contendor gave up, and ran away. "You didn't gave up, right grandpa?" I didn't give up, indeed. He said, GTFO (Get the FUDGE out!), and I keep yelling at him "GIVE ME MY ITEM, SCAMMER!", and hit the report abuse button like if I was getting paid to do it. He started to run, and I, just followed him, running. We ran across the entire city of Varrock, while shouting "Give me my item!". Then, we got into an Inn, which name I can't remember, but I remember it is outside of the walls of Varrock, to it's north east, north of the earth mysterious ruins, south of the "new lumbercamp", where there was this Dr. who helped me to slay this vampire, and there is a Black Knight in. He climbed the stairs, and I climbed them too. When I climbed it, I realized he was casting the "Home Teleport Spell". I quickly did it too, and got into lumbridge. The problem was that, there were a lot of people, begging for things, saying "Phr33 st00f pl0x" or "Dancing for money!". So, I did something quite intelligent, I added him as a friend, to be able to catch him on the map, looking as a green spot, a green spot that said: "I laughed at your face, so come and get your honour back!". I kept the pursue, and we ended in Varrock again. He finally decided to stop on the backyard of Juliet's house. "What did you do then! You killed him?" No, you couldn't kill people in Varrock before of the PVP worlds. When I reached him, I told him to give me my item back, and sosmething nice ocurred. My contendor, was standing nearby, and he brought people who were also scammed by him. We all said to give the items back but... "He didn't give the items back, right?" No, he didn't. But something ocurred. A real gentle man, carrying a Blue Party Hat, said, "What is happening here?" I told him what happened and he said "Don't worry, he will get banned. Which thing did you lose?" My longsword I said. And he said "Well, this isn't your longsword but, it may help to repay it." "What did he gave you?" A runite mace, and 7000 gp. I added him on my friends list, but, he never logged again and, with time, I forgot who he was. "Hey grandpa, do you still have your scammer added on your friend list?" Hahaha, yes indeed, but I just can't remember who he is. OR In short, a man scammed my rune longsword, I chased him through all Gielinor, and couldn't get my item back. But a nice, wealthy man gave me some money and items to repay it.

  23. Cool but, as strong as a dragon longsword? Then the dragon longsword wouldn't be as cool as it is. Anyway, I like the idea.
  24. This sounds like a big Mini-game to me. I think it's cool, and it would be nice a clan "minigame" apart from fighting other clans. I support.
  25. I like the idea, because sometimes when I go to Karamja killing lesser demons, I would rather fill my inventory with swordies quick instead of waiting more time to get more exp. You can save some worthy minutes on that, considering that you might burn some and want to get some more, etc. I aprove it.
