  1. http://www.runescape...reation#rewards Basically, after 34000 it becomes a lot harder to squeeze out extra reward points. I'd say if you can consistently get 34k+ you're fine.
  2. I'm wondering what skills I should raise to be less likely to be slowed down when keying by needing to call in back up for a skill. I suppose I would benefit most from raising skills that there's very likely to be someone else in the floor who's higher than I am. So maybe mining, since most floors have someone that can mine prom and I'm only 80? Or magic, where a lot of people have 99 but I'm 88?
  3. 3 hours sounds about right for c2ing 1-29, but at <90 fish I think 225k is an overestimate. In my experience, more like 150k, maybe even less.
  4. Oh, must've missed that. Started logging a few days ago so I should definitely have 20 in spreadsheet by the time I'm 100. What happened to medals? I seem to recall reading about them in front post a few weeks ago when I started with DGS, but it's gone now.
  5. Did my first skype floor yesterday, 3/5 had mics (I was one of the ones that didn't). I can see how it could be faster and even more fun, but I don't know how you guys do it. I was a bit overwhelmed trying to focus both on the dung and on the conversation. Aww darn keyer needs 100 dung now. Was gonna apply next weekend, might take me a bit longer then. My average is hovering around 30-31 anyway, need to get it a little lower. I could always not accept newbies as often to improve it though I guess :P
  6. I'll be doing Jad for the first time this weekend, on slayer task. I plan on ranging, probably with chaotic crossbow and broads (diamonds for Jad I guess). What equips should I wear and what should my inventory be? Assume a budget of 10m or so. I could probably stew a couple of extreme ranges, but I'd rather not if it wouldn't make a significant difference. I'm 95 pray, 90 range, 88 herb, 90 defence. I have EEE. Would curses be better for soul split and the like, or should I get rigour and use regular prayers?
  7. If you do a floor, it will check off some floor of the same theme if possible. I think it checks the highest floor below what you did, unless you have none, in which case it checks off the lowest floor above what you did. You get xp for the lower of the two floors, so if you do f47 to check off f44 or f44 to check of f47 you'll get f44 exp.
  8. Use darts or knives (I usually use mith darts) on Greaters and Gargoyles too, with ferocious ring. I've never tried on abby demons, but it would probably work there as well. The key is that since darts and knives are so fast, the +40 damage improves them a ton, I can usually kill faster than people using whip without extremes. Use range pots too. Might be worth trying on blue dragons or hellhounds, not sure.
  9. Sorry to hijack, but a related question. I'm 78 FM, so I don't want to use handcannon. So what would be better DPS for range, Karil's xbow or chaotic with broads? What about Karil's compared to Chaotic with Diamond(e)s? I usually use maul but I also have rapier.
  10. If I want to be in DGS and key (not as a rank, just as a regular person), how fast do members expect their keyers to be? I can do 40 minutes occults in w148 with randoms, which probably translates to 35 minutes or so with people that know what they are doing (w148ers, for instance, seem to rarely have surgebox bound, and not know how to prioritize GDs, etc). My fastest is a 31 min abandoned (no dead doors, though a key was missed but I luckily guessed correctly where it was). It's pretty intimidating seeing all the less than 25 minute and sometimes less than 20 minute screenshots posted in this thread, and I don't want to key a floor and then have people mad at me for being too slow. If it matters, I'm 91 dung at the moment. Also, how does one go about actually joining a clan? I never really understood the whole clan camp thing, but I've done a few dungs with you guys as a guest in the chat and really enjoyed it.
  11. I'm assuming by "best" you mean some combination of the most xp and perhaps not ridiculously expensive. Since there are no new gold-charm familiars, it makes sense to use those first so you can maximize the usage of the other charms. Making either arctic bears or barker toads gets you to 74. You should probably use your crims on Granite Lobs from there. You'd get slightly more xp by using something else to get to 75 and making Mantis, but I don't think the extra xp is worth the cost. This puts you at 81 with just the greens and blues left. What you do from here depends a lot on what you want to spend and perhaps if you want to save things. If you use all of your blues on Elemental titans, the most xp you can get out of them at 81, and then used all your greens on Hydras, again the most xp for your greens, you'd end up at 82. Fruit bats would be fairly cheap compared to the other options and the difference in xp isn't that huge, but you can make something else if the money doesn't matter to you. You might use your blues on elemental titans or obby golems, but you could also consider saving them till you can make lava titans. Greens aren't worth saving as there isn't really something to make later that would make a huge difference. So, TL;DR: Make Arctic Bears or Barker Toads, then Granite Lobs. Then, use your greens and blues however you want, depending on how much you want to spend and if you want to save them. EDIT: Looks like I was out-typed by some other people. I hope the logic of how I came to basically the same conclusion as their program helps you, or something.
  12. Just did half an hour on Frozen C2s, 19k fishing xp. Are people saying that I should be getting more than 40k per hour aware of the nerf? More than half (I'd estimate about 2/3-3/4 but I haven't measured) of the fishing spots give half xp (67.5 for salve, 76.5 for blue crab) for every fish from that spot. EDIT: Let me give some data. The raw data I got just now was this (with 83 fish): Frozen: (half|reg) blue crabs: (3|2) salve eels: (0|2) Abandoned (half|reg) blue crabs: (5|4) salve eels: (7|5) Furnished (half|reg) blue crabs: (9|9) salve eels: (8|4) All floors: Blue Crabs: 17 half xp, 15 regular xp Salve Eels: 15 half xp, 11 regular xp In total: 32 half xp, 26 regular xp. Given the small sample size, I wouldn't be surprised if the actual rate was 50% (causing the overall xp rate to be multipled by 75%), but my estimate of 2/3-3/4 was probably off.
  13. I'm think woodcutting isn't worth it, though I could be wrong, I haven't tried it. At 83 fishing, about a week ago I got 40k experience in an hour (dropping with mousekeys). I think this was on furnished floors, possibly it could be a tad better on a different set of floors with faster bosses, but I doubt by much. I don't think that's the best fishing xp, IIRC, barbarian is faster. but I do C2 to check off floors before resetting.
