  1. It is inaccurate. Dragonhide doesn't save you from high level ancients.
  2. Kinda thought it would be like chess. It wasn't, and the game was really boring.
  3. About the first article............. Oh, god! A final boss of RS. I definetly believe it............ It would have to be a final, climactic quest then. (Or at least, questing would have to benefit you). Sadly, though, you couldn't take your time-tested real-RSworld weapons with you, and that doesn't make sense.

    Favoritism?

I love dungeoneering too. Seriously, I could go with you if you want a team. People you don't know tend to be jerks. It's a problem with RS.
  5. You'll live. Until the flamers come along. How many FAIR games have you seen? I haven't seen a single one. It's always one team that dominates, spawn raping the other players and winning easily. It COULD be fair, but it rarely is. Why? I don't know. Strong people gang up. Nothing else to say.
  6. DT is anything but difficult. Easily done around cl 75. In SC, the trick is to avoid the enemy and skill, then deposit anything you get. Pickpocketing ancients can be fun too :)
  7. Hello.

We probably have huge political differences, but as a Fire Emblem fan, I like your signature.

  8. The game is too easy as it is! Any grinder could make a nice sum of money, and things are easy enough to buy already.
  9. Sadly, the expected value of doing a boss is many times higher than any constant monster. It would be great if you could get a constant 2-3m/h killing monsters, but you can't. (At least not without a yak at DKs.) I know you're saying the game rewards risk taking. That's my point, that I really wish it didn't (to such an extreme extent), and think it's harmful to the divide between rich and poor. Dagannoths are good. Not the DKs, but regular, level 88 dagannoths. Their drop values are very consistent.
  10. Yes, skillers are currently dominating the dungeons while the combat-oriented people suffer. <_< There is a ban skilling option. It's called complexity 1.
  11. I don't grind......... How are you gonna get 85 slayer if you don't grind? Slayer tasks are fun. I'm willing to do a bunch in a row. Just like my training styles : shooting stars, evil trees, that kinda thing.

  13. There's nothing so fun to grinding.
  14. Drop hunting is fun, not moneymaking. What are you doing? Fun is subjective, for example, I find construction + farming fun, and not alot of others can say that. Btw, I'm planning on doing a mixture of stuff, like aviansies/ fruitfall/ maybe even more barrows if I can get myself around to it. Lol. I love farming. I like contruction, but it costs a lot. Makes sense.
  15. How is luck either good or bad? If you get lucky, you get rich. Simple logic hurrdurr However, luck is unreliable, so your riches may not last........ That's just whether luck is beneficial or not in the immediate.
  16. that isn't quite what i meant. when i'm fletching and i need to go to the bathroom i'll just click what i have to click to get a few bolts fletched. if i come back before my character logs out, cool, but if i don't, i'm not losing out on as much as 1/5 or 1/4 extra exp (i'm only losing out on a few clicks, which i can easily make up for precisely in a short time). its troublesome and if you have choppy playing time it makes for very low exp gains compared to those who are getting the full bonuses (but finishing the dungeons) and to everyone else, i didn't say that i took hours to do dungeons. i said that that was the case in other mmo's, however jagex sort of dumbed down the whole experience. i have yet to complete a dungeon in under 20 minutes, but some where i obsess over gathering do tend to extend towards the 45 minute range. edit: applyapple, i would hope to god that your not flaming me.. to the best of my knowledge your the OP of one of the noobiest threads in rants right now I am not flaming you. I am just making a point. And as for my nooby thread, live with it. If you want to judge me on it, judge me on that thread. not sure why you would remove a part of your post that supported said 'point'. no. i clearly, and i stress CLEARLY stated that runescape is a grindfest/clickfest. but i also said that the way jagex has crafted it has made it a fun and enjoyable game. And no, i hope it wasn't their intention. but for the first 24 it certainly turned out that way. making the 25th skill a complete contradiction to the methodical approach to leveling up makes no sense and feels very awkward and abstract while training. Dungeoneering has its methodical side. It's just not a "clickfest skill." When did I remove it?
  17. It is absurd. But I'm of the opinion that killing stuff is fun, and shouldn't be a consistent way of making money, so I like it.
  18. Heh. By the time you have 2m xp, there's no good reason to pay for more.

  20. I am aware of this. But I'm really enjoying DIY. DPS? Well, it's nice that you're not calling me a noob for considering the whip excessively powerful. DPS = Damage per second. If anyone knows a weapon I should be using at 65 att and str with better DPS than a dscim, please tell me. "The whip just absolutely trounces the d long and d scim in DPS." This is why I say it's overpowered. I'm getting back to using my scim. Gonna see how it works out.
