Why does Jagex get new skills so wrong?
I personally think dungeoneering was a brilliant update (albeit for some glitches which i'm sure will be gone within a month or so) The main complaint is based on the skills similarity to a minigame. I agree that they do bare striking resembalances, but I think Jagex were right to make this a skill. The content itself is massive, and I've heard a second patch is on the way (like Summoning) which will probably make the skill more useful. I also think the step in this direction was good for the future of the game in the sense that, it would have been near impossible to develop a skill which did not have a strong resemblance to any other skills (an example being fishing/wc, herblore/fletch imo), without branching away from the perception of what a 'skill' is. They done this well with Slayer for example, where they introduced a task based skill, which has some resembelances to quests (someone tells you to do something, you do it, return to them, do something else) and yet was basically a new combat skill. At the moment it has no clear benefits outside the dungeon directly, but some of the rewards are great ideas, and will benefit certain skills significantly. I compare this self-contained style to Construction, where the only big out-of-skill benefits really come along at the good altar building levels, or with the teleport portals (as far as my experience with con goes). A quirk of Dungeoneering is that you actually train several other skills whilst earning experience in dungeoneering itself.

The race to 120.....
That's fair, I could have just had a nice floor generated. And the point about clearing lower floors is a good one. I think 35k is probably more realistic atm than my 50k esimate :P I guess the max atm depends on whether you spend your tokens on xp too, it doesn't seem like much but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the top people on the high scores aren't bothering to buy any of the rewards, so when they get to 10m exp they can just get another 1m in 5 minutes or something. If the amount of these you can cash in at once isn't capped i'm expecting the top of the high scores to be quite dynamic

The race to 120.....
Pretty impressive getting to 80 in a week, this is one hard skill to train fast. I think the 30-35k xp is probably teams. I played my first 5-man map yesterday and got over 40kxp in barely an hour, i'm a fair way off maxed combat, and only had prestige 31. I definately think it's possible to be getting 50k+ an hour IF you get a good team together who play at the same time every day. Maybe these lvl80+ players have got a good teaming system going, or maybe they've just found their own personal speed training method. Solo xp is terrible in my experience.

How did you get your Primal/Promethium
You can get them as drops from the bosses (had hatchets, boots and pickaxe) or as drops from the highest level warriors in the dungeon (I think they may drop what they are wearing sometimes). Otherwise play dungeons with a partner who is 90+ (preferably 99) mining because the amount of prm rocks in the caverns increases massively. I played with a 99 miner yesterday and was getting a prom rock on average about once every two rooms on lower dungeons, alot more than i normally see soloing

Gertjaars
I decided to check out the high scores today to see how some of the top players were doing. When i checked out gertjaars turns out he's no longer in the high scores and doesn't have an adventurers log........glitch? Deleted account? Or am i just making a typo?

Dungeoneering Questions
1. Prestige increases (not sure how) each time you go up a floor. Your first time on floor one may be exempt so it carries over to your second try. But after that you should have prestige zero on that floor ill you reset 2. Time taken is not factored in AT ALL. The slower you are the lower your xp rate though 3. I had the same problem, sometimes it is on by default, you've just got to check before you start each game 4. I don't know about this. Possibly just a typo on jagex's part, or a rounding. 5. Your dungeoneering level is twice the floor level you can go in, minus one, i.e. you can access floor N if your dungeoneering level is (2N-1) so you open a new one up every time you level up to an odd level. Up until level 35. Hope these answer most of your questions :)

Poison bug at blue dragons
I was doing a slayer task of blue dragons in Kuradels dungeon when i noticed i was poisoning them...... My equipment is Focus sight Avas acc Glory Anti-drag shield Ferocious ring Steel knives <------no poison Bunyip summoned No-one else is in the room or has been for at leat 15 minutes, and the poison is starting at 20 lp. Done a few tests (waited for damage to drop to 16 or 18 then re-attacked) and it was definately me causing it Any ideas what it could be? Or should i just post a bug report...
