I know there are loads of threads atm about bxp so I'm sorry in advance: I just got a Jad task off Kuradel, does anyone know whether, if I log out a wave or two before Jad tonight, then logged back in once the weekend starts, the 25k will be affected by the multiplier. Not sure whether that comes under the one time xp exclusions or not, if it doesn't then I'll probably start this task tonight, otherwise will leave it till i'm on 1.1x

Assist effectively means 3 hours of free rc training a day (so you can easily get to 200m rc by assists in just over the short amount of time it takes for someone to be born, and subsequently grow old enough to drink [in the uk])

Gratz on 2k! Nice timing as you'll be able to get a decent start on levels above 2k over bonus xp weekend (goldsmith gaunts dont give the extra xp over the weekend btw)

Fair enough, I was using another website which hasn't updated to new g.e. prices and says sup restores are 28 :/ They could be good, but you can only buy ingredients for 2500-3k pots at a time (then you'll have to sell pots and rebuy ingredients). It could be a good 'blast' of herb xp though for the first hour or so, until you've bought back more ingredients That blast should get you almost 1m xp (with a 2.6x multiplier) and about lvl 76 (not including seconds saved with scroll of cleanising, and herbs if you're making unfs)

Have you bought any supplies yet? At the moment most pots are between 20-35 gp/xp (normal xp, not the total bonus xp). Also, even though you're given a gp/xp rate, that's assuming you buy all the started items and then sell the pot at the end (so if you need everything at once for xp weekend it'll probably be more like 50+gp/xp for most pots, until you sell the pots after the weekend and hope they don't crash). In terms of pots to make, prayer pots are ok at the moment, the higher xp pots are quite a bit more gp/xp. If you want to get the most xp out of your money you probably want to make serum 207 (need shades of mor'ton) which are about 1gp/xp atm. They only get you 50 xp per pot, but they don't rely on you having to sell the pot after (you just need one free bak space) so you get the most out of your money (in terms of having the most herb xp banked ready for xp weekend) ~ Downside is they'll be slower xp meaning your timer will go down more, I think the pros probably outweight the cons with 40m though (anyone feel free to prove me wrong, cba doing the maths atm :P) EDIT: actually thats 40k pots, maybe the extra cost won't balance the lost in bonus xp

Cancelling 300 times is 9k points, yes, but that is NOT the number of cancels required to do 300 straight tasks of ice strykes. You're assuming that after only one cancel each time your next task will be ice strykes, and that is not true. On average you'll have to cancel many times per each task of ice strykes, and need a ridiculous number of total points to do this. Viv isn't planning to do 300 ice stryke tasks in a row, just get a continous set of ice tasks.

Checking a Spirit Tree (or two) and a Calquat patch are not bad too, from my previous attempts. ah right farming. 99 in that tho :P don't plan on doing that >_< perhaps jade vine for slayer now that you mention it. im still at a loss for other sources though. Finishing your highest floor dungeon is what I done at the begiining of last weekend too (free 150k xp)

I tend to spend all my disposable money on buyables (in my case herblore). I have around the same cash as you too. I then train the buyable (herblore) till I run out of ingredients, 40m will only last you a an hour or two, and then I spend the rest of the time traiing slow boring skills (i.e. agility and rc), and once the timer goes down to 1.1x I train summoning, and then back to slow skills

I don't think Chilly would have broken Drumguns record if she'd waited till bonus xp weekend (if more than 5m of the summoning xp was from effigies). Woulda been pretty tight though

And this is why I have thousands of (unf) pots banked from farming. The last two times I hadn't pre-prepared at all

I think the amount Kuradel gives is equal to all the tzhaar you have to kill to get to Jad (plus the 4 healers). So if you kill any Tzhaar before going ito the cave you won't be able to stay on task till Jad, so you won't get the 25k experience for it

I tried fight caves for the first time this week. Was on slayer task and have 84 range too. Luring was easy and I managed to get to Jad pretty straightforward using addy bolts, with well over half my brews/restores left, all I done for prep was read sme of the runewiki page. Jad is a [cabbage] though, I dced about a minute into the fight and died, he seemed to switch attacks fairly regularly so be prepared to prayer switch alot
