After 5 minutes of saying 'gtgd w' you check knowledge base and find correct command is ''Group Gatestone Teleport for Guardian Door to the West'', could be fun.......... My money is on the ammo bind too, been waiting a while for an extra bind slot

I'll put my hand up to keying that 33, which was with 2 non-recruits, the rank and you. It was a spiral map, which was one wayed the ENTIRE map (given one of the non ranks called an 86 rc door as 96, cutting off, literally, 1/2 the map). Also the other rank was afk (which they apologised for, and idm since i've done plenty of good floors w/ them) most the floor. Not really great to include in a sample of 4 floors -
If you're banking you might lose a bit of xp off the optimum, because I think that is with dropping the ore. If you're doing it for afking it's fair enough just to mine, but if you're paying attention superheating doesnt interupt mining at all (you dont even need to reclick rock) so it can be cheap mage/smith xp, but requires more attention to click each ore
-
You'de also be getting around 55k smith xp, and 50k mag xp if you're superheating (the suit w/out gloves is 2% i think, so adding on about 1.4k mine xp)
-
Some of it is, but it's part of the trade off for having the most information on the most things (allowing the public able to edit). It also doesn't take into account your weapon (for example a 2h might be better on some crush weak oponents using slash because of the higher slash accuracy etc). I'd take what it says on there for granted unless you're splashing alot in which case try something else

I didn't really want to get into this, but I've just got annoyed by the amount of flaming (a.k.a. discussion) of DGS/3bo. They are not under any reasonable sense 'competition', there are probably less than 20 people in dgs who could even be members of 3bo. DGS is aimed at people (mainly from tip.it) to get them to enjoy dungeoneering and become better at it, and many of the people involved are 80's and 90's. 3bo is aimed at 110+ dungeoneers who want to team with people who are at least competent dungeoneers (not 117/148ers). I have no doubt that many of the best dungeoneers are from 3bo, but afaik they are all 120's, and dg between themselves, as I've never been on a 3bo team with a better keyer than me(not a single sub 25 full map), and I find keying for random 3boers painful as they don't have any fixed standards (they cook when not idle, they don't gate their paths, they ungate boss w/out being asked, everyone chills in base waiting for altar to be bought and made etc etc). DGS has some of the best non 120ers (along with a couple of 120ers), for example we have keyers who key consistent sub 24's with a team of 80's, which I consider much harder than sub 20 averages on a pro team which even I can do with a dgs rank team, and I don't consider myself to be anywhere near the top of dgs' keyers. The bind arguments are silly. Plate is a great bind. B neck is a great bind. Hex is a great bind. Rapier is a great bind. Full helm is not a great bind. It depends entirely on what you're aims are dungeoneering (faster xp/better dpsing/mage exterminator) and as a clan we don't promote plate as it doesn't fit with our ideals, not because it isn't a good bind for some people. [WARNING - opinion follows] DGS has and is doing a good job at teaching people to dungeoneer well and efficiently. Some floors are slower as a result (the one I done with Cdundee yesterday had a rank and 2 non-recruits), but when I key for a team of recruit+'s I expect an enjoyable floor with minimal derping, and I am rarely dissapointed. 3bo on the other hand is a clan for people to get their 120 by brute forcing lots of floors with randoms, often with lots of derping, or for people with 120 to team with other 120s and do good floors/learn. In all likely hood getting 110-120 could be faster with 3bo because of rows/more people etc, but I enjoy the faster, riskier and less derpy floors of dgs. -

Definately get mage up, im on 89 (about 80k off 90) and the amount of times i've been getting screwed over by the 90 mage lode in lights room is ridiculous. Other than that the I think almost everything else has variable levels, so just general levelling is a good idea. -
Optimal complexity selection for noob solo DG

Ok. Thanks for the advice on room clearing. I am doing what I can to max the number of floors I can cover (opening resource dungeons as the come available) but I'd prefer to keep my tokens for Life scroll (my first goal). I kind of need my goals to motivate the solo dg grind. That's fine, I assumed you wanted a chaotic first (which is alot of peoples motivation at first), in which case tokens from 1-60 are about ~10% of the tokens for a chaotic, so don't make much difference -

Nice one. Thanks. As an additional question. I am only clearing rooms with GD in for C1 dungeons. Should I do the same at C6 or is the Level Mod bonus/penalty worth getting/avoiding for the higher floors? You should try and get through dungeons as fast as you can, whilst opening as many doors as you can. So you wouldn't want to clear non gds, and don't bother with pot doors unless you happen to have everything for pot in your inv and its a med. This also means if you get a ghost/mono/high merc (i don't know if all these come in solo dgs) you should skip them if you've already found boss. Since you're only low dg, prestige is vital to getting more xp, so spend all your tokens to get you the levels to unlock new floors asap, you should probably do this to at least 60 dg -

Hmm am I missing something? I have seen 3 golden precision bracelets at least, and I'm only dung 76  Battle Axe = flameburst defender 4th bind surely :P -
Is this dps on a raw, 0 defense, infinite lp target? Are the other (acc and def) stats for armors and weapons just as chaotic?

I go for 60 cosmics (30 ess) and the rest laws (if my ess is going to get me less than 60 laws i make 40 cosmics and the rest laws) when keying. I only normally make astrals on abandoneds (I probably make too many laws in general). I don't remember ever having to make more cosmics. But it depends alot on keying style tbh, whether the keyer or dpsers are doing the majority of ggs movement, and how much exploring you do/how liberal you are with personal gate making If I'm really short on cash i make cosmics first, get more for my ess, and i can always use the portal for ggsing till i get 5k+ coins -

I believe it's a different medal-- it has a black stripe through it. Yeah, medals for floors without deaths don't have the dark ring (mine is a w/death medal) -

Brutes are quite weak to mage. People with ccs and csb often warrior/range skeles too. CSB is quite good to use on shades etc when one wayed in any rooms where you can't get to theother side till someone makes rope/jumps -

This would easily add 3 or so minutes to each of your dungeons. Minimum. Having to stop and write things down, and then look back through notes to find where things are? Best way to do it is memorize your doors May seem hard, but once you get good at it you'll start seeing faster floor times If you can't remember all the key doors you can use http://www.desolatecarnage.net/rs/dung.htm It's been mentioned a few times before in this thread, but i tend to have it open and in a resized screen, with my rs client on the right (covering the keys) and the map visible on the left, so when i need to place a key i can just click the map and drag it accross almost losslessly (e.g. while running somewhere) -

In regards to the exclusion from floors: It's essentially down to the keyers preference, I personally don't take more than one non-rank (guest in cc) if I'm not in a team of friends. This isn't so much to lower the times of my floors, but to make the floor bearable for me to key (having to call gtgd 5 times and waiting 2 mins in the levers are not things i want to repeat). -

Needs more cowbell Hexbow! 2 f46's, and we get two necros.....just our luck <_< -
I think there's a good possibility that an overabundance of hexes won't be as detrimental as it was. The Q&A says we WILL be able to bind multiple ammos (CSB and Sagg arrows) so the extra hexers can mage too if need be. You never know, the extra ammo bind might end up thrown in with the sagas update at the end of the month (purely speculation, but I can't see them introducing an extra full bind any time soon)

Full Completionist Cape Requirement List (Including Trim. Reqs)
Stommel replied to Screamra's topic in General Discussion
I guess the trimmed reqs might not be visible till you've taken the untrimmed cape, so many people who can get the untrimmed will have unknowingly done some of the trimmed reqs -
You should definately get maul, speeds up kills alot (and the fact you can 2-hit them makes it even quicker)
-
Are you already wearing completionists cape? And that's what it requires to trim it? if so that's pretty cool, reckon anyone can get the completionist cape (t) yet?
