  1. Lightning. The four ancient elements are: Fire, Water, Earth, and Sky. Lightning falls under Fire. Lightning is sky... Sky>Lighting No, lightning is fire. Sky usually consists of controlling air currents/weather. Unless you go to the chinese elements (why are we using chinese again??) in which case thunder would be under wood.
  2. But he inadvertently controls lightning.
  3. I dont see why people keep having children either, though. Baby's are parisitic and many times end up with the mother's death. They are the reason for world hunger. They are pointless to the world until 18 years of feeding off of our capitol and hard work, and today's youth is so undriven its disgusting. They are practically the most annoying things EVER. Especially from ages 0-10, perhaps a bit older depending on the individual, and because of todays society they will grow up demented and stupid. They piss and [cabbage] themselves, only for you to clean up. Constantly puke, whine, and cause messes. Break everything destroy many marriages. Destroy some teenagers childhoods, etc. So why do people have children? Just 'caus.
  4. That post would've been more convincing if you didn't make it sound like a 12 year old having a tantrum. What they are saying is that the violence in the game puts the idea to go out and do it for real in their head. They're thinking that to kill a plant you need to destroy it's roots. But what they're forgetting that it's the parents choice to allow their child to play these games. no.. im a 15 year old having a very justified tantrum thank you very much! no tantrum is needed... youre supposed to build it all up and snap and kill 50 people at a post office when your 76.
  5. A browser based game is a game that uses only cokkie and cache files, and an internet browser to play. In other words you dont have to download anything.
  6. The unique thing about Americans, is that unless you are native, in which case you'd probably be quite proud of that and stated it for all to hear, you are from somewhere else. Every (recent) American National is an immrigrant or decended from one/two/many. Which is why I find the right-wing anti Immigration polices hysterical. "Get rid of all immigrants!" Okay! 98% of American population deported! "Native Americans" originated from russia, they followed herds over the bering straight when it was still an ice bridge, and slowly migrated down until they got to the Americas. According to scientists NOONE originated from North America.
  7. No, I presume you were addressing it as if he had multiple parents. In which case it would be "parents' ". It doesnt really matter though...its online grammar, i can use proper grammar....but i dont like to, its boring and takes to long to try to remember all the different exceptions for all the rules, that and i dont really read what i type after i type it i just type and then finish and leave it at that. I worked as a bagger at the local commissary (good tips, from 50-200 dollars a day, express lane is major money =] ) And then at a subway.
  8. You seriousely thought i wanted to grind up old people??? WOW, i seem evil. Cool
  9. I know its the territorial army, but what persay is that? Best i can tell its much like a reserves group?? IF it is, then not really. Yoiu may get shipped out, but dependent on your MOS, the likelihoods vary, and training is only a few months unless you have to attend some type of AIT? Then its still only a few more months after that. I would say calm down think about what all you are doing and take it one step at a time.
  10. you fail at being philosophical. There is no "right" way to be philosophical. So do both of you. At least he's trying. If we're not trying to be philosophical, then how can we fail at it? And what exactly is the TA? Maybe if i knew i could be more helpful.
  11. You lash out on me, yet im not the one who nitiated the idea of ridding ourselves of old people. Not only that but it was an obvious joke. Quit trying to start things that dont need to be started, i really dont feel like arguing with some adolescent [puncture] about joking about grinding up old people. And at least if i was ground up for food when i died i would be useful, what does a rotting corpse do for the world?
  12. No they shoudln't :? at least not until they been ground up for mcdonalds Maybe someone should grind YOU up... Ouch, that comeback must have taken ages to think up. The biting wit is killing me.
  13. Well, there's no doubt that Taipei 101 is much taller. Anyways, Issy made me think of something. Would your ears pop if you took the stairs, because of the more gradual air pressure change? Yes, if you change altitudes your ears will pop, i dont see why this is such a huge deal? Its not painful, it doesnt take much time , and spending 5 minutes to go to the top of a building that tall wouldnt be that bad.
  14. And i responded saying people dont live forever, so next time a loved one gets sick, should they be put down? Doctor's cant always save people either. I was just putting it into perspective.
  15. Someone says they need help and asks if anyone has had experience with their pets and mght know what his has, and you say just put it down.
  16. It's actually kinda more of a feeling comfortable with myself. Its kinda with the whole being raised into thinking that it is wrong... ect but now i know who I am and nothing can change that. You could view it as a graphic artwor, not just a depiction of a crappy female draqwing. Either way its not good. But, being gay really doesnt have anything to do with the piece itself, thats like saying if it was a guy i should been like "Im straight so i shouldnt voice my opinion."
  17. Thats all the doctor's dedication and the people's affection for the animal. Some people only have their pets, they become siblings/best friends/ children to people, and they would do whatever they could for them. Because you see a dog as a stupid pointless beast not worth really saving because it got old and its time to exchange for a new one, like its an old toy that needs to be updated, doesnt mean others do.
  18. Next time your mother or father catches a cold or the flu, remember what you just said. I'm not trying to be mean, it's the truth. Face it. If your mother or father is 90 years old (Which relates to his dog being 16 because that is very old for a dog) and they get pneumonia or any other disease you could expect them to die. No, no, no, it would be more analogically correct to say its like your mother being 90, and she still does housework all the time, goes for daily walks, seems happy and healthy, and then she gets a stomach virus and throws up quite a bit. Shes still awake and everything but you decides even though shes comparatively healthy it would be best to have her killed.
  19. Ok, i don't know much about america's buildings, so yeah haha. I still dont see the need for it to be that large. If you could get that many people to want to rent office space then i could understandm but noone would want to create a random HQ in a random area for no reason. All your debates with the probability of the building were addressed in my post. The pyramid shape debate thing is addressed in his first post, he said it would have a larger base , and work to a smaller tip. (from what i read, honestly i didnt read the entire post haha)
  20. All that quote did was explain the structure and formation of the facial structure. Nowhere in that passage did it mention anything about what would be credibally defined as a nostril ,nasal passage, or just a sinus duct. I dont know why you chose that to qupte but it didnt really do much. Maybe, im missing something? True, i didnt know you're educational background, or the extent to which your teachers found needed to develop knowledge in certain parts of the body. My teachers mostly centered around nerves, organs, neural receptors, etc. They didn't go into much detail bone structure ot glands. But, may i ask, what does this have to do with your qualifications? And you tell me not to make assumptions or insult you in an "unfounded manner." Yet you assume ( Yes what i said was quite cocky, but this because during my highschool years i learned about the four "nostrils" in a tenth grade anatomy class.) i am some highschooler in some want to be college course. Now, back to the subject matter, first you say they said that it was one of the two openings, then you said it was the entire canal. The entire canal has four opening which would prove the "Q.I." fellows right.
  21. Noone uses perfect grammar. Anyone can correct you. You misused the ellipsis, they are a sign of intentional ommission of material, not prolonged feeling or emotion. Don't be a grammar nazi if you're going to; use onomatopoeia incorrectly, or add objects to words to show emphasis. (i.e. "Soo") I also advise staying away from the "theory of evolution" argument, it may cause a religious topic to spark up and end with the topic being locked.
  22. Next time your mother or father catches a cold or the flu, remember what you just said.
  23. A great big chocolate factory? Money, think about how many offices you can fit in that building. How many floors you could lease. The number is huge. Besides, that's why most skyscrapers are built in the first place, as tenanting buildings, ever wonder why half of them are named by their street address? no it wouldnt make sense to do that. They are usually built for one business and their offices...there arent any companies that need that much office space though. And i doubt anyone is gonna help make this plausible if the idea behind it isnt feasible.
  24. you fail at being philosophical.
