Hmm, it seems a bit.... unbalance? I understand the balance in unequalized portions os pieces. I just dont think it works here. Maybe some brushes (or something) going into the top left corner would make it a little better? I dunno..im by far nowhere near an expert haha.

no you idiot... that would be a japanese type of art called chibi... When your rude about something make sure of two things 1) you dont sound like a complete [developmentally delayed] while saying it. 2) you are correct. You fail at both. Caricatures have over dramatized features, and most street artists ARE doing caricatures. Chibi is characterized by stubby bodys about the same size as the head, with innocent looking qualities. Both are similar in concept, the classification of the two cant be made until the finished product is made. Much like cartoon/manga classification.

I understand, i myself said that i use photoshop. However, i believe that using opacity setting does make it no longer a pixel as it would be just like using dodge or burn. It is just auto choosing colors to create a desired effect. That is completely different. That would be like me saying in order to be a fruit it must have seeds, and you saying i said if it has seeds it must be a fruit. Layers do not choose colors for you, it can make it easier, but it doesnt do much work for you. Opacity changing chooses the colors for you, it would be just like using a gradient tool. It would no longer be a pixel.

The current skirt looks like cloth..the only cloth armor ever used was by the asians when they wore silk for its bullet resistant qualities. He looks neither asian, nor like a warrior during that time perioud. Make it a manly skirt and add actual armor too it. It seems like you're trying to be too much like GodSlayer, im not sure whether this was intentional, but it really isn't working.

Bruh, to get something of good quality you would need quite a bit of time, most pixels take over a week AT LEAST. That is why i believe the size was set so small, still i dont know how long it will take, i was lucky enough to get an idea quickly. Also, 3 hours isn't even that easy to come by. Maybe, i could get some between 7-10 but then i would be doing nothing all night, and having a life vs. pixeling, i would prefer to hang out with someone then pixel for 3 hours.

Exactly. Why do you think brushing/blurring/burning/dodging/ makes it a brushed piece and not a true pixel? It is because you used the program to create the desired effect and auto choose a color for you. All lowering the opacity does is set the current color choice to a tone of the underlying material. Only you arent doing it. Therefore it is no longer a pixel.

Then it would be considered brushed. You have to try to find a color that is in-between the steam color and the color of whatever is behind it, so add a grey (or steam color) tone to whatever color it is and it should work well. Also, you can pixel in photoshop. It is currently what i use, seeing as i lost paint =(...i think i accidently deleted it, and there is nowhere to install it from, so yeah.
