I'm personally surprised at Slowbro's, Shaymin's (all of the tiny legendaries for that matter), and even Dusknoir's usage. I kind of want to try UU just because spike stacking and Sub Punch Dusknoir sounds delicious. Sub Punch Dusknoir is such an under rated set: I've loved it ever since someone used it against me on PBR.

I was watching the game at a bar with a couple of my friends. Everyone started swearing when Toews scored (even though he's a hometown hero), but the atmosphere was insane as soon as Burrows stole the puck, and even better when he scored. Nothing like an environment like that.

I still remember the day I bought Star Fox Adventures and Metroid Prime for 30 dollars (was a buy one, get the other half off deal). Best deal ever. Both amazingly fun games. I had fun with my Gamecube, but the controllers have a pretty terrible life. One of my control sticks was wearing out after less than a year on one of them, when I had my PS2 first and the controller still works to this day.

No they don't... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Stanley_Cup_playoffs For the west side of the playoffs, since San Jose and Chicago both won, then they would have faced in the second round. They faced in the west final.

I'm buying the first available Doan jersey as soon as they come back and jerseys are available. Gonna get my white out on. I really should stop hyping myself up in case they don't come though...

Pain killing is kind of a big deal. It's got use as an anti-nausea med for people getting chemo, nausea and appetite loss in AIDs patients, reducing intra-ocular pressure (glaucoma), anxiety reduction are some. The Institute of Medicine did a pretty good study/report: http://search.nap.edu/openbook.php?isbn=0309071550 However, they're conclusion is pretty much dead on unfortunately, and why I am not confident that we'll see it legalized any time soon Marijuana wouldn't be useful as a main drug to treat the disease, it would be used to suppress symptoms of the disease/condition. Ha how could I forget about the munchies. Actually I do believe taht would be a legitment use of medical marijuana. I don't think there are any other drugs out there that enduce hunger. A friend of mine had a medical problem where it hurt to eat. There are other drugs that induce hunger, but he ended up becoming a pothead and the two drugs temporarily paralyzed him. His doctor ended up saying "if you're going to do pot anyway and almost kill yourself, I might as well let you do it legally". Point being marijuana can be used for hunger, but there currently are other drugs. I still support it being legalized though.

About an hour ago I was eating some mood-raising icecream and thinking about how amazing a trade of Marleau and Heatley for Duncan Keith would be (was 4-1 in the second). Now it's 5-5 and the second period just ended. Life is good again!

Just missed on a Chomp 4 times in a row, and the game after that I missed Stone Edge and Rock Slide in a row. I think that means I need to retire my team...

You can pop your wrists? Could you elaborate on that, or perhaps, show us how you do it? A youtube video would be nice.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW8qaPvCs44 It's kind of like that but not exactly. I don't grind it like. Where that guy rolls it around I just do a quick motion back or up and it makes a popping sound. Like popping knuckles. Louder than that video too. Is that abnormal? I'm only asking as it's normal for me lol. I've been doing that for about 6 years (when I last broke my arm) and sometimes it even helps my wrist feel better. I can also make a bone in my arm pop like that, except it doesn't make a sound. It just slightly moves back out.

That's true, but bear in mind the Canucks have a winning record (on the season) against almost every other team as well. Even against the Pacific division they still had a 13-5-2 record. That's good then. Any excuse to believe a Canadian team is a legitimate contender is good enough for me. And I just wanted to post this link here: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/667463-winnipeg-jets-return-imminent-true-north-sports-to-unveil-ticket-drive I'm getting hyped. A chance to see the NHL up close and in person? Yes please. Nothing official though, but if we're selling tickets it must be damn close.

Was awesome watching my Sharks win in OT at the bar. Even though I'm Canadian and hope either the Sharks, Canucks, or Habs make it to the final (and win), I still don't think the Canucks are as good as other teams in the Conference. No other team in the division made the playoffs, so a lot of their wins came from beating up on terrible teams. They're a good team, but I don't think they're Stanley Cup good. The Sharks are in the hardest division in the league though, with 4/5 teams making the playoffs with Dallas losing on the last day. I hope I'm wrong though. I'd love to see a cup come to Canada.

I'm changing mine daily because my sister's apple products don't work with WEP, so I change it back to WPA after I'm done. What I have to do is: Go to the router via internet browser and log in (you probably know this and do it, but whatever). Log in Go to the security tab (any tab that allows you to change your router password will likely work). Click on a drop down box named security mode (don't know what else it could be called, sorry). Change it to 128bit WEP (64 bit is something else for me, so hopefully you can figure out what I'm talking about). Hope that helps. I don't know your router so that's probably about as specific as I can be. Why 128 bit? My wpa was 64 so i just left the wep as 64 bit, whats the difference? When I go to 64 bit I have a bunch of blank lines where it seems like I'm supposed to fill out the keys myself. When I go to 128 bit it's already done and it worked with my DS. Not sure of the difference, but if it works for you that's great.

Just got a Male Nidoran with Hustle. Not the biggest DW Poke I could get, but not useless by any means. Probably going to keep everything in the Entralink because it looks badass (Serebii has corrupted my mind).

(Only speaking Competitive-wise for this post) Charizard is better as a Sunny Day special sweeper now thanks to Solar Power. Venusaur is insanely strong in Sunny Day as well and vastly under rated. I haven't seen Blastoise, but its about the same except it now has Scald. Haven't seen Typhlosion, Meganium, or Ferraligatr, so they won't be OU for sure. I don't think they have changed much, but I could be wrong. Blaziken is Uber, haven't seen Sceptile but it should still be decent, and Swampert doesn't actually do anything anymore. It's role as a jack of all trades is now translated to "dishes out little damage and dies". I've seen a few Empoleons, Infernape is better now that Blaziken is gone, and I'm pretty sure Torterra hasn't changed much. Samurott is outclassed, Emboar is useless, and Serperior is useless until Contrary comes out, and then it's decent at best (I think a lot of people spam it early game, which doesn't accomplish anything as there are a tone of 4x Grass resists).

Article about murder & mutilation by US troops

I wholeheartedly disagree with you. This world is not terrible, but there are terrible people like the soldiers above. I don't want to get in a huge argument over this, but I disagree that they're terrible people. If you haven't heard of it, look up Philip Zombardo's prison experiment. tl;dr about the experiment: he chose law-abiding college students to either act as prisoners or guards, and watched how each person reacted. Most guards acted like real prison guards and were abusive, while most prisoners suffered mental stress and panic because of the abuse. These are normal people in a matter of days (the study only lasted 6 days). Most people will do messed up stuff if you give them authority without structure. I would say it's a problem with the army as a whole and how it is run, not a few bad soldiers. Just from glancing through the Wikipedia article on it (yes, crucify me if you will for Wikipedia), the criticisms seem pretty reasonable. At the very least this experiment was done incorrectly and the results inconclusive. There's also a video I saw of a study of people shocking random strangers because they thought they were on a game show, and of people shocking strangers who got questions wrong because they were told "shocking them will teach them better". I'm not justifying these actions at all, nothing can justify doing that to another person, I just think it's nicer to think that it's not the people that are inherently bad, it's the military's structure that needs fixing. Giving people of power the position to choose how much a "prisoner" eats, what that "prisoner" does, etc. with no supervision is asking for trouble. -

Bronzong over Lucario covers your Excadrill, Mamoswine, and kind of Garchomp weakness. Your Reuniclus seems counter productive as Hydreigon does the same thing (counters stall) in my eyes, and you seem to love Hydreigon, so that should stay. I would suggest something like LO Starmie over Reuniclus as it helps against rain teams, means you still have access to STAB Psychic attacks for fighting types, and gives you a fire resist for Bronzong/Jirachi. I'm not great at rating and usually try to adjust others teams to fit my play style, but it's stuff to consider.

Oh wow, I just found out that Blaziken is now banned, while Deoxys-S and Latios will be banned next month if they both get over 50% in the voting. I haven't personally had a problem with Deoxys-S, but I'm very happy about Blaziken being gone. Wish Latios was also gone, as I used a max SpD Tyranitar like people suggested, and it was still 2HKO'd by a Specs Surf, but I can't be too picky. I'm still considering making an anti-meta team revolving around Scarf Abomasnow and Specs Kyurem for lulz, but this ban is making me want to get back to running a normal team (I peak at around ~200 when I sit down and actually think about my moves). Vote numbers if anyone wants them: Blaziken: 29 Ban, 11 Do Not Ban, 3 Abstain (72.5% Ban) Deoxys-E: 22 Ban, 19 Do Not Ban, 2 Abstain (53.7% Ban) Excadrill: 10 Ban, 33 Do Not Ban, 0 Abstain (23.3% Ban) Latios: 22 Ban, 18 Do Not Ban, 3 Abstain (55.0% Ban) Reuniclus: 9 Ban, 31 Do Not Ban, 3 Abstain (22.5% Ban) Thundurus: 15 Ban, 23 Do Not Ban, 5 Abstain (39.5% Ban)

The move is physical.

Quote from Serebii: CoroCoro has revealed further details of the upcoming event giveaway of Victini in Japan to tie in with the two movies this year; Victini & The Black Hero: Zekrom and Victini & The White Hero: Reshiram. This Victini, as reported previously, knows the move V-Create. Victini is to be given when you have pre-booked your tickets for the movies. The booking of tickets begins on April 16th and as such, you'll be able to receive this special Victini from April 16th 2011 to August 31st 2011 in various places in Japan. This Victini comes holding the Fire Gem item and has the special Wishing Ribbon. So it appears it is not available yet, although I thought it would be released with the movie in July.

Whenever you mention one of the new pokemon I always get confused because you use the japanese names. Nattorei = Ferrothorn Hihidaruma = Darumanitan I'm kind of used to both now so I need to curve myself to remember the English names as well.

Yeah, but competitively Jellicent just doesn't do anything productive. In-game I could see it still working well as it can still scald/recover.

I'm currently in an Adolescent Development class and all I can say is: good [bleep]ing job. The class kind of pummels in horror stories of bystanders witnessing murders, normal people torturing other normal people just because they think they're on TV, teenagers killing themselves with others knowledge, etc. No one should ever give you [cabbage] for doing the right thing. About your problem however, I have no idea how to fix it, I just wanted to praise you for standing up against bullies and caring about your education.

No it doesn't. Only attacks break the illusion.
