I thought you couldn't get the 5M statue (ancient statuette afaik) in F2P. :mellow: Either I was wrong or your friend used a G2H on a P2P world. ...I just don't see why you would do that. One of my friends was killed at a rev trip by a pker and lost his G2H. Some weeks later when he went to the dungeon again, he killed a rev imp and gained a statue (5M). Maybe there is some system :rolleyes: Or it's just luck :P

How much did that cost you? Probably a whopping 240mil ish totally conservative estimate. I am thinking about buying just regular bones to bury, but that would equate to even longer time........ I bought them for 290M-300M ;)

About the ranged xp: He/she gained 7320K in 10 days, so 732K a day. One of the fastest ranged methods is 38K xp/h at icies with addy arrows (and 99 ranged). That would mean that he/she trained 19.3 hours a day, for 9 days in a row. Possible, but not likely. Afking at Flesh Crawlers, the only way I can think of to survive training so many hours a day for 9 days, gives only 30K xp/h. That's 24.4 hours a day so not really possible, since some days he/she gained more than 732K xp :mellow: El Popo's ranged record on 1 day was 715K, but the rest of the days he had an avarage of 500-600K. Besides, I didn't know it was possible to train ranged without training hp. And if those dummies would give more xp than ice giants, why nobody trains there? :mellow:

I don't think bot busting events are a real solution. It's just a complete waste of time. If every single player would report some bots while training, it would be a lot better. But I usually hear even friends saying that they are too lazy to report bots because it doesn't seem to have any effect at all. Well, it DOES have an effect. I usually make a Runetrack account for high leveled bots and add them to my fl to see if they get banned. And yes, they usually get banned in 7 days ;). I report about 6 bots a day. If everybody would do that, imagine howmany bots would get banned. But the problem is, Jagex doesn't show the effect of a report. If it was possible to see howmany bots you have reported, I guess more people will start reporting :rolleyes:.

He/she doesn't have any P2P xp, I can't say more than that ;)

Personally, I can't be proud on something I didn't work for. Would you be proud on a 99 skill if you used a bot to gain it? I guess not. So how could you be proud on a cape you gained by afking? Besides, leeching, afking and botting are not respected ways to gain things. I'd better be a respected player than a disrespected completionist. But well, that's just my opinion ;)

@Sonikku, the longbow is way better versus high lvl npcs, but there are far more low lvld npcs. So after all I think the shortbow is still better ;) .

The reason why people don't take ranged is probably because the bows, armour and arrows have low stats. Fractite spear is alot bettert than rune items, while spinebeam is comparible with willow and fract arrows with steel / mith... Still, ranged is better on low lvled npc's imo. I think a bow is much better in smalls, but plate maybe in F30-35 larges (higher and more npcs). I still wonder if dromoleather body is a better bind than spinebeam shortbow. Dromoleather body + tange gum short (buy at Smuggler) give 18 ranged bonus, and spinebeam shortbow 19. But the dromoleather body has some defence bonus, bow has none. So I think I'll still go for the dromoleather body :)

I don't really care if mains use bots. When they get banned, they usually quit (good ridance). But when lvl 3s bot, it's annoying. When they get banned, they create a new account :thumbdown:.

After waiting for hours to find some skillers I remembered why I hate the skill. I still bind fractite spear + dromoleather body, seems to be the best combo to me. Why on earth would you bind a fractite platebody? Most bosses are easier to kill with ranged than with melee, and you don't need protection versus lvl 40's... :mellow:

Tried doing it with a friend today, 1.4M loot after 1.5 hour (shared between us) :)
