Change the stats of a Vet cape into the stats of a teamcape and the bonusproblem would be solved. So the stats can never be the reason why they are not F2P ;)

Business, that's 1 reason. thats probably the only reason to. In my personal opinion its sad that they gloat that they are the number 1 free game but refuse to give f2p players cosmetic items with no stats. Veteran and Classic capes both have stats. They should have the same stats as a teamcape imo. Still ridiculous that they didn't tell us it was P2P only for months while they already knew it. :mellow:

I probably would've worn the clan cape instead of the Veteran Cape, but still I'm mad on Jagex. They make promises but don't keep them. :thumbdown: Did anyone notice the population yesterday? Worlds were almost empyt :blink:

After months of waiting the Veteran Cape turns out to be P2P, gf Jagex... you f*cked us again... :angry:

After the Capes update, I've been fishing for 2 hours in barbarian village. I've only seen 1 fisher for 5 minites and 2 players that crossed the bridge. It felt as if I was on a private server :o

In my opinion, ranged is the strongest style to use in FoG. Since most players use magic (wizard robes) and barely have any defence at all (def level is reduced), the fast ranged hits are much better than melee and magic. As long as you switch style when your oppenent uses protect prayers ;) And about the Earth Runecrafting part, I think you can do it faster. You are talking about 47 runs per hour, while 51+ is possible :P There are some usefull strategies to save time. I could ofcourse post them, but it's much more fun to find them out yourself. Yea I noticed this too in W33, the same guy with 92 mining is botting there every day <_< After he mined all the ore, he walks to the mithril rock near the entrance and waits untill it respawns. I reported him two weeks ago and created him a Runetrack account. He is still getting loads of xp :angry:

I know some very good items, but why should I tell you them? If I would tell everybody about my merchant items, they wouldn't be good anymore. Lesson one of being a good merchanter; keep your items secret. Want to be a merchanter? Find your own items ;) Yea, Crandor used to look cool and tropical. Now it's just... sigh :(

If you think that getting 99 is too easy, just become F2P. Getting a 99 in F2P is still hard and there aren't many maxed out F2P players :). No support for 120s, just make skills harder ;) (delete ivy's, living rock caverns, gilded altar and so on...)

Sounds like the best option to me :thumbsup: Also, once you made 1 platebody, platelegs, kiteshield, full helmet and boots, what else is there to do? Make more of that untradeable item? Why? At least herblore supplies can be used up. O_o. Uhm, just use them for Combat? :D

I don't hope so, rune ores was the only good moneymaking way in F2P :shock: If they crash... then there is no reason left to train mining... :sad:

Probably P2P only, otherwise I want the veteran cape & 80's cape, but only if they look better than my teamcape though ;) I don't really like all those show-off items, just give us usefull 99 stuff.

The smithing xp isn't good nor cheap. I still didn't see any reward so it seems a bit pointless to me <_<

I always superheated Mithril. Low costs and good magic & smithing xp per hour. Steel and Iron are a bit faster for Magic, but cost more and give less smithing xp. So it's your own choice ;)

Ranged Attack Bonuses: Dromoleather body +11 Tier 1 Longbow +26 Total: +37 Spinebeam Longbow +70 In a dungeon the longbow fares much better than shortbows. Even dealing with shortbows: spinebeam= +19; dromobody+teir1shortbow = +18 ... It depends on the size of the dungeon and your team. With many low NPCs, the shortbow is much better than the longbow. With high NPCs, the longbow is better. Dromoleatherbody+shortbow has almost the same ranged bonus as spinebeam plus some defence bonus, sounds like a win to me. You got 2 styles+defence :).

Fractite arrows, fractite maul/2h/rapier and dromoleather body. Since you can buy a tier 1 bow at the store, you've got more Ranged Bonus with the body+tier 1 bow than with just a spinebeam bow ;). Rapier. However, both are completely waste of tokens for f2p for general use. But since you're just trying to upgrade for clan wars, rapier. The longsword does not have a high enough boost from a rune scimitar to make it better then even a rune scimitar considering the slower speed. Thanks, I think I'll go for the rapier then :)
