  1. Wait, I'm lost, why is Lynx all "blah" all of a sudden?
  2. Well, point to click in the more complex 3D MMO's is actually more of a requirement, especially when it comes to end game content. Point to click in that sort of situation is going to waste hours of not just your time, but everyone else who's with you in the party. So yeah, point to click has no place in a "good" mmo. Runescape, well, it just works with Runescape for some reason. Mainly because the game is built around it. But my point still stands. You're going to suck at a game if you point and click compared to WASD if it's available.
  3. Whoever called me whiny for wanting WASD only, once you play a game using WASD, you can never go back! Unless it's something [developmentally delayed]edly simple like Runescape, then click to move is ok. But for a more complicated game, it's WASD or GTFO. lol
  4. Wait, so this game Forsaken World or w/e, actually uses WASD? I might give the PC requirements a looksee to see if my [cabbage]ty PC can run it. lol
  5. I'm not exactly sure how to respond to this, amidst some minor flaming, you prove a few good points....but um....if he doesn't wanna try it...why does he have to try it?
  6. Any MMO aside from Runescape that doesn't use the WASD keys to move is just meh in my eyes. Especially 3D MMOs. No go for me.

From now on, it's safe to assume I won't be on in time for most sessions. Yes, I'll be on later every session. But no where near as early as they start, as I've been doing a lot of group dance practice lately. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  8. What is this....I don't even....

    Win.
  11. So, the sticky up at the top of the forum, that pretty much asks the same exact thing from all of us means nothing? *facepalm*
  12. That first article pretty much hit it on the head. Now to go read the rest of them. I myself had taken a TWO year break from runescape. The second year of course, filled with a small spatter of occasional log ins to see what was going on, who still played, etc. I log on now, and I really don't know what to do with myself. I don't like Dungeoneering, mainly because I don't know where to start, how to interact with people who've been doing it for months and months now. So I just sit at the GE, make some cash, then train a skill, then make some more cash, rinse and repeat. Ok, NOW I'm off to go read the rest of the articles. :P
  13. Story based? Where the hell was I when this happened????? :(
  14. Welcome Back! :P
  15. Oh, I'll admit, playing straight out of the rulebook is lame as all hell. Our DM just took the basic structure and branched it into his own little thing. He even took the time to do all our math for us. I don't think I could ever sit through a game if there wasn't an actual Role Play factor into it.
  16. To contribute to what Wyvern is saying. My friends used to play PnP DnD, no figurines, anything, just flat out paper and pencil, everything was hand-drawn. (I was impressed by the time he put into it) My first time ever getting into it was when I had a crush on this guy, so I asked what they were doing. They said I wouldn't be interested. I said I was. The DM generated a character for me. I've been into RPing ever since, though I've branched off more into the written aspect of it more than anything. But yes, letting your first character be generated for you is EXTREMELY beneficial in the long run.
  17. Icu, if you watched (and thoroughly enjoyed) Elfen Lied. You will LOVE Witchblade :)

I will disguise myself as a zombeh (DON'T SAY THE ZED WORD) and act like one! >:0 Such a plan could never fail!
  19. Yeah, been noticing you've been staying up really late recently playing that. xD
  20. Ieyfura replied to Leiana's topic in Falador Tavern
Not a problem for me. :)

Hard to defend against enemies that can think. But zombies, no problem :)

To be honest, taking a medieval approach to how you live (with others of course) would probably be the best idea. Castle, have some land around it for farming, have a giant mote going around that land. If the zombies learned how to swim, everyone hole up in the castle with all the reserved that are stocked up.
  23. It's the back room, the thread for anything offtopic with the rest of the Tavern. So really, that subtitle means nothing. lol

Make sure I'm living in a very wide open area, with my little tent. So if a zombie horde ever decides to come at me. I'll kite them around the giant plain or w/e, and lead them to their doom to presetup booby traps made to deal with extreme numbers. >:3 EDIT: Said booby trap would be other survivors, we all man heavy machine guns and just mow them down, if they malfunction or something. We'll have back up set a couple hundred yards at another point. etc...
  25. I'm always on either World 46 or 48, but I don't see how that means anything. lol
