  1. Clearly you don't understand what sarcasm is.I hope you know, some sarcasm actually relies on you know the person. I have no idea who Omali is, i've only seen his profile a few times. As with that, i don't know how he normally posts. From what i say, i could say he's easily gone over the top because he has a grudge against jagex for ruining the game he loves.Regardless if i have missed sarcasm. I'm still trying to give a point across and your recklessly flamming it because you do not care. Common politeness is to give constructive feedback. Rather then abusing the writer.I can see what the original posters were saying as it's not a big issue on these forums. And no, i do not care about a stupid pixle on the end of a whip. I'm not that low. The point is over advertising of the game. I'm unsure how much of you have actually looked into it, but Jagex have given an incredible amount of advertising for this update. With little to no publicity about other updates that have happened. If your just going to flame me because you don't care what Runescape looks like, or Jagex's intentions with the game. Please just leave the thread. The thing is, you are just showing what a massive oversight you have made. Both Summoning and Hunter received publicity when they were released with wallpapers and banners on the front page being changed to reflect this. In addition to this, they also changed the log in screen with the release of both skills to publicise the release of the skill. Please, provide me with an example other than The Chosen Commander where Jagex massively publicised an update that wasn't a skill or a hardware update. I can only think of a handfull myself and all of those examples are unique to the situation. - The Chosen Commander was the first multi-part quest series to receive a conclusion. - While Guthix Sleeps was the very first Grandmaster Quest to be released. - Runescape HD was a massive hardware overhaul. Only skills gain as much publicity as Dungeoneering has received. Granted, Dungeoneering has received much greater publicity than either Summoning or Hunter and I see no problem with this. The skill is a game in it's own right, it deserves to be flaunted as such because it is unique in terms of a skill release. Oh and FYI, as is obvious, I only just recently joined these forums so I have no idea who anyone is and it was blindingly obvious to me that Omali was being sarcastic.
  2. Increasing the money cap would mean that the people who currently have the maximum amount of gold possible would be able to amass a much larger pile of gold. The more gold that enters the game the less value it has therefore making the price of items rise to reflect the devaluation of gold.

  4. I dont see how this would help anyone other than merchants. The average player has never had and never will have the maximum amount of money that is attainable. I'm no expert on this sort of thing but surely, if the money cap was raised, this would only serve to let merchanters gather more assets in pure cash which would only serve to increase inflation. If this was the case, it would just prevent the average player from attaining high level items even more alienating them from the market altogether.
