Why would you use the bank in Miscellania in the first place? It's an occasional pit stop after getting approval back to 100% via teaks. Daily routine is, in no particular order: - teleport to NMZ and spend my hard-earned, well-deserved points on herb boxes - teleport to Varrock and buy staffs - teleport to my home and run to Miscellania for 100% approval ~350k gp for a few minutes of work. If you know of a more efficient way to keep approval at 100% let me know :D I save Miscellania for last on every other day so that way half the time I log in and I'm already at the teaks. Killed Zulrah a few times but it wasn't very fun (probably because I haven't memorized its patterns yet). Assuming Zulrah remains boring, I don't see the point in skilling or doing PvM for money when I can just sit back and get rich via my daily activities.

Got elite void a couple of days ago: Didn't realize there's been a PC cc for the veteran boat for a while: iemz pc and iemz pc1 Also, the Miscellania "shortcut" unlocked via Fremennik medium diary is ironically slower than simply running to the bank from the boat. Lame.

Did they mostly just update the graphics and tweak a few things or do you know if there were any notable changes to the actual storyline/dialogue or anything? The lore of that game was always really interesting to me. >_>

Exactly. There was always a certain risk to Guthans AFKing back in the day though. Evil chickens could kill you at bandits, for example, if you tried going to sleep there.

But I have no interest in maxing slayer because it's a massive waste of my time and I don't enjoy it. If my goal is to max out melee without sacrificing RL productivity, then how can slayer be considered an intelligent and efficient path to that goal?

I should've been clearer. If you value your RL goals more than your RS goals like I do, NMZ is the most efficient method, as it has the lowest opportunity cost of the training options. If I need to go to sleep, that means that I also have to forfeit all of my RS gains during that time unless I go to NMZ. Therefore, NMZ is the more efficient option. The fact that many pro-efficiency players frown upon NMZ suggests that it isn't necessarily efficiency that they and their friends/clanmates strive for, but rather willpower-- even if a person is being incredibly inefficient whilst doing so. If you guys want to debate 6 hour AFKing feel free to make a separate thread about it and I'll happily argue with you :P

I am assuming you are talking about his combat xp, can you explain why you think it is impressive? Because only 2 other people in the game have accomplished that and also because he did it mostly via NMZ which means he did it intelligently and efficiently.

One of the new achievement diary tasks requires you to get at least 100 tears. I was a bit worried about that since tears can be really unforgiving sometimes. Ended up getting a new record >_>

Just make a move regardless of the signals she's giving you. If you always wait for a girl to give you the "perfect" signals before you make a move, your dating life is going to be very uneventful :P

Yeah you've gotta make a move and if you get rejected, then you move on to the next girls. Attractive girls that have lots in common with you are very common and since you've only known her for a month, you underestimate how quickly your brain will adapt and move on if you get rejected. Especially if you don't stop dating. The longer you wait, the more likely it is that you'll be replaced by some other dude with similar quirks. There's nothing wrong with feeling infatuated. But there is something wrong with wimping out because you're infatuated, which is what you're doing right now. Also quit worrying so much about your future with her. It seems like you're just using the future as an excuse to rationalize your fear of not making a move. Start hooking up with her then start thinking about what role she will fill in your life.

I really don't think it's that big of a deal. Maybe it would be a big deal back in the day where there were less than 20 people with max total, before skillcapes, before bonus XP weekend and XP lamps. RS3 doesn't really seem to have a very solid lategame plan other than adding more and more arbitrary stuff to grind out for the sake of "completion."

You've just gotta have a laid back playerish vibe about you. In other words, you won't feel guilty about seeing both of them if they both wouldn't be surprised by that fact due to your overall attitude. If you're acting like Joe Schmo around them yet secretly living a player lifestyle then yeah that's gonna lead to problems down the road. Also if a girl explicitly tells you she's DTF, which is awesome, I'd avoid telling her about your sexual desires in return. Like Rpg noticed a while back, once a girl thinks you "expect" to get laid next time you see her, suddenly she'll freak out at that expectation and back out since she's more nervous than horny at that point. What I usually say when a girl tries to get me to state my thoughts about having sex with her before we've actually banged is, "haha don't worry about that kind of stuff yet. We're just gonna hang out and relax :)" and then next time we hang out, we hook up :thumbup:

Enjoy it while it lasts, folks! You can clean about 8-10k herbs per hour. For me, kwuarms are about 110k XP/hr and 2.5m profit/hr :P
